Hi all (*tries to look like a newbie to the thread and not someone who fell off the wagon months ago, but spots name on Ragz's challenge leaderboard. At the bottom. Oops...)
Just popping in to the thread to wish you all a Merry Christmas and gasp at how slender you've all got since I was last hereFor those who remember the saga, I had my op and all went well, although for various reasons I didn't manage to quit the weed before the event. The same day I had my op, my mum got news that hers was to go ahead shortly afterwards too, so this period more or less melted into one big manic time where we all mucked in and helped each other. This was followed by the run up to Christmas, which is always a really busy period here, even without all the catching up that was suddenly necessary. It's only now that I'm starting to feel I can find more than two spare minutes to string together
I haven't had time to catch up with reading the thread (it's been a while!), but I hope you're all as well as you were when I left you or even better, and are not facing too many challenges.
I have managed to keep most of the weight off since I last visited the thread, although my scales tell me this morning that I have put a couple of pounds on. However, it's that time of the month when scales insist on freedom of speech and say what they feel like. We all know that they throw accuracy to the winds then. :rotfl:
Plan B (part 9,437!) is to tackle the smoking thing just after Christmas, when it's a good time for me for various reasons, and then to haul my expanding butt back on to the weight watching wagon some time earlyish next year. In the meantime, I hope you all have a fabulous Christmas and a brilliant 2012 :beer:Freddie Starr Ate My Signature

I dont know about anyone else but i am really having a hard time at the moment food wise... I just want to eat all the time, and have been struggling to stop myself from reaching for the sweets/crisps & chocolates
I am resigned to the fact that i am probably unlikely to lose anything before Christmas/ New Year so am hoping to stay the same weight.
I also recently sprained by ankle so exercise has been off the cards, until today when i cycled to work this morning which is the first time in 2 weeks. Boy have i missed it as well, 2 weeks of being grumpy and feeling sluggish/fed up is not fun.
Time of the month is also really not helping matters either, and i think this is playing a part in my weak resolve atm..
*sighs*

I think that I am going to have to bow out too, unless a miracle happens, until after christmas now and then really focus. I will post my final weigh in on friday in line with the challenge, but I'm not hoping for anything!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Forgot to mention yesterday that I went to 2 meetings which ended with buffets but didn't eat anything. I dread the word buffet, it means pastry & bread with soft crisps and wierd tasting peanuts. Am doing a buffet for my group this evening with barely a pastry product in sight, and no bread at all

Exercise - 1/2 hour pulm done, running around all day prepping/delivering food, and must pump tyres up at some time as they look like they're on the ground
