Im sure you get lots of compliments.....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
oops
lets just say a little dressing puts some zing into it
PROLIANT it's a sound prgramme for a 30 y/o, very good for building muscle etc, and I really admire you for going for the challenge. At over twice your age I'm happy with losing 1/2lb week average over the past 12 months and admit I can't refuse the occasional meal out with family/friends when I let go a bit but still try to make sensible choices from the menu. Looking forward to seeing the before & after pics, I like a healthy young body to drool over (bad sparrer, blame it on Molly for putting ideas into my head!:rotfl:)
B - F&F ss milk
L - rotini with cold chopped lf sausage, sun dried tomatoes, halved grapes, a little ff yogurt to moisten
D - out this evening so will probably be a slim soup with crackerbread
Snacks - fruit salad
Exercise - 1/2 hour pulm, 10 mins step. This evening will be moving tables, boxes of books etc for my fellowship, it's as good as a work-out!
Stay warm0 -
It's quiet on the thread today!
b - HM energy bar
l - dippy egg with two slices of toast
s - chocolate mint nougat bar (81 cals)
t - Pasta with sausages in a HM tomato and spinach sauce
Not too bad todayBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Good Morning x
Im going to declare a 2lb weight loss this week. I have been seesawing by a pound but over the week it has been closer to the 2lb rather than 1lb :xmassmile:xmassmile:xmassmile:xmassmile:xmassmile:xmassmile:xmassmile:xmassmile:xmassmile:xmassmile:xmassmile:xmassmile:xmassmile
However the witch is now hovering on her broomstick, judging by a breakout of spots and some very irrational bouts of hysterical crying:eek::eek::eek: I therefore dont think i will make the stone challenge but will keep on trying hard this week.
Hope it has been a good weight loss week for you all but if it hasn't ....

Hi All,
I've been quite busy again for the past few days but have managed to eat sensibly and exercise. We are going away today for a couple of days but I am starting off with a quick run this morning before we leave.
Good luck with the weight losses.

Morning all :santa2: Hope everyone is well !
I have just weighed in, Ragz I have Lost 1 pound :j
My daughter breaks up for the holidays today, so I probably won't be able to go swimming for the next 3 weeks, or do much walking, so I am going to dig out 'my fitness coach' for the wii, I have never done it before, so it will be new for me.
I was just wondering have people had any thoughts over how they will handle their 'weight loss programme' over Christmas and New year? Food wise, I'm not worried because I have got my eating under control and I don't drink alcohol. I am concerned that I may not get as much exercise as usual, so I will probably aim for maintanence over this period.
Anyway, good luck for the weigh ins and have a good weekend everyone :snow_grin0 -
Well done Molly and JBD! It's a very hard time of year to lose so you have done especially well :T My scales ran out of battery yesterday so I am going to use Saturday's weight (which I have probably put back on with the baking I ate this week!) and declare myself at 163.4, so 1lb off. Missed swimming last night as kids were very ill with flu.
JBD, I have My Fitness Coach, it's really good. much better than the Wii Fit in many ways as it flows better, so no stopping and starting she just takes you through a routine, You chose how long, 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes and whether to do cardio, upper body, lower body, flexibility etc. Levels change as you go through as she asks you whether you are finding it hard or easy (I should do mine more!). If you have any fitness stuff like a step or ball you can add that to your workout (I use my Wii step with the raiser that makes it higher) First time you use it you have to do a little fitness test and measure yourself so find the tape measure before you start.
I am cutting back on the treat foods I buy this season, so no tubs of chocolates and biscuits (unless we are given any) and I am not making my amazing Baileys tirimasu this year as there is always loads left (if you sw the size of my Christmas dinners you;d know why!) and I end up eating several servings a day for ages afterwards! If it's not there, I can't eat it! Haven't drunk anything for weeks (alcohol wise!) so I'll have a few drinks but no Baileys this year. Apart from the big meal and the leftovers the next day I will be having smaller portions and generally trying to cut back while still enjoying it.
Won't be able to exercise as much, though I hope to get onto the Wii for a bit, it's just hard while tripping over small children so I have to really motivate myself to do it in the evening. for some reason, I can easily motivate myself to go out at 7pm, drive 25 minutes to the pool in the wet and cold and then swim for an hour, but half an hour leaping around the living room seems like a chore! JBD, perhaps we could spur each other on with the Fitness Coach thing (I am very competitive, if I know some else is doing it I am more likely to!)
I don't expect to lose, put it that way. But hopefully won't gain either.
Thinking about a New Year Challenge. (We will probably get a lot of new members after Christmas), when to start and when to finish. If anyone has suggestions they are very welcome. Personally I think a challenge should last at least 8 weeks (so you could realistically lose half a stone) as a month is just too short. Is everyone happy with WI day being Friday still? May have to start Jan 6th in that case, give people a change to get over Christmas and New Year ... Or we could change to Mondays (make you behave over the weekends!).
Digestions on a postcard please (PMSL that was a typo but rather funny so I'm leaving it!)
Someone please take these biscuits away! (Kids are off school so the cookies I made for their teachers are now MINE. Have had two already this morning... and they are not small!)June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Morning all
Stayed the same this week againStill hoping to lose another lb/2 this week, will have a big push for the final weigh in. I did do my measurements last night though, and since the start of the CC i've lost 0.5" from neck, upper arms, hips and thigh, 1.5" from chest and 2" from waist! :j Nice to feel that my efforts are showing a bit, I'm able to fit back into all my size 16 stuff now!
For the New year challenge, I think it would be best to do 2-3 months - maybe run from 6th January up til Easter (8th April) which would be 13 weeks?
Way too disorganized this morning, 5 mins before my carshare arrived I was not dressed and had wet hair! it's a miracle we weren't late for work
Today's meals:
