I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

I hope everyone had a lovely day.
I didn't do too badly, except that I ate more chocolates than I intended to. Apart from that I ate my normal size portions, I also went out for a nice long walk after dinner. I don't feel bloated at all, so I know I haven't overeaten too much.
Tomorrow morning I am going to do an hour on the wi fit. No sweeties for me, I really want to get straight back to my normal diet.0 -
Good Morning x
Well I spent most of the day in bed yesterday as my tummy was so poorly and uncomfortable. My eldest son was also poorly and we think it was some ready prepared Brussel Sprouts in cream sauce! (as no one else likes sprouts).
I have done a sneaky weigh-in and I have stayed stable so guess a day of unwilling fasting yesterday ameliorated for the gut busting (literally) feast of Christmas Day:eek::eek::eek:
Anyway a very gentle day today with careful eating and I should be feeling right as rain!!!
Hope you all doing ok xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

molly and sparrer I hope you both feel a bit better today.
I am back to normal eating today. I did eat a few chocolates yesterday but nothing too major. I also haven't touched any crisps which were my biggest downfall. I have just weighed myself, I have stayed the same, which I am happy about.
My meal plans for today -
B - toast and marmite
L- a few crackers, cheddar cheese, caramalised onion chutney [very yummy] and tomatoes
D- lentil and veg curry, quinoa
S's - fruit, yoghurt and nuts.
I will do an hour on the wi fit and walk to the shops [a couple of miles].
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Hi everyone, have updated the list again.
Not been doing too bad with the eating as I just didn't buy much junk this year or make any naughty desserts. We've had one box of posh biscuits which I did have quite a few of, and a LOT of cheese and biscuits and quite a few mince pies with cream... but still a LOT less than previous years. I even managed 30 minutes on MyFitnessCoach last night as I felt in need of exercise. Dinner the last few nights has been bubble and squeak with beef and gravy... mostly veg so feels quite healthy (apart from the beef dripping DH insisted on cooking it in!)...
I was thinking of asking for a shiny new thread as this one is getting rather long and I expect an influx of new wannabe losers around new yearJune Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Morning all
A shiny new thread would be great ragz, I'm sure quite a few more will want to join, and I admit to having mentioned us on another thread so perhaps we'll get some lurkers initially to see what we're all about, then maybe they'll join in if they feel comfortable here. Not too comfortable though or they won't want to lose!
Today will go something like this
B - F&F, ss milk
L - dippy egg and soldiers
D - chicken casserole
Snacks - usual fruit
Exercise 1/2 hour pulm and kitchen. Looks like a bomb hit it after using it as the Christmas wrapping room!
happy Tuesday
eta thanks JBD, tum's back to normal after taking things very easy yesterday0 -
Did 30 minutes on Wii Fit this morning. Didn't really make up for all the cheese and biscuits I had for lunch though...
Hopefully will be able to get out swimming tomorrow evening, missed not going Monday.
Hope everyone is doing well and avoiding at least some of the treats...June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Hi All,
Well I am back on the straight and narrow again, especially as my bet with DH is still running and I don't want to be paying out for excess pounds on New Year's Day. I have been fairly restrained in my eating and have exercised most days so I am pleased about that. I've also had a very low calorie couple of days as I caught a bug from DGD and was quite sick on Boxing Day night. I've also asked DH to hide my chocolates and just give me the odd one when I ask so I am not tempted to go mad on them.
B/L: TangerineWarm wrap with chicken, mushrooms, onion and garlic. Piece of Feta cheese. One coffee cream chocolate.
Exercise: 20 minutes on Shred DVD. Walk to shops and PO this morning and around city centre this afternoon so about 2 miles in total.
Hope everyone has had a good Christmas.
