Agggggghhhhhhrrrrr - the chocolates and sweeties have got me again:eek::eek::eek: I should follow my own advice on another thread where i suggested either throwing them away, re-gifting them or shoving them in an inaccessible place. Instead I stuff my face.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Rosewood - Don't want to lecture you but... Is that all you ate? Remember to keep above the 1000cal minimum to avoid sending your metabolism into starvation mode. If you exercise you have to take those calories burned into account too. I know you really don't want to be forking out the cash to your DH but you don't want to be messing up your weight loss by crashing. If I ate that little I'd be gnawing toes off my badly behaving kids by now...

Thanks for the concern RAGZ. I never normally drop below 1,000 calories but am only just getting over my sickness bug and couldn't face eating till this evening. The wrap I had then was stuffed full of mushrooms, onion chicken etc all sauteed in butter so probably more calories than you realise and I've also had several milky coffees that I don't usually bother recording as it's the same every day (about 200 calories worth). I do appreciate you being concerned though and although I don't want to lose too much money to DH (I am resigned to not winning any) I am not going to be starving myself over the next few days.

Just checking Rosewood, I did notice you'd said you'd been ill and hoped it was just because of that but... gotta keep an eye on the flock
I know you usually post your total calories and tend to keep to a sensible minimum but I was worried you may have got desperate... also don't want people skimming the thread and thinking we encourage minimal eating!
Hope your tummy feels up to more tomorrow and good luck with the rest of your mini challenge
I made a fairly healthy but shockingly bad (from a recipe!) chicken and ricotta pasta dish for dinner so I had to take the taste away with icecream... though I only had a tiny bit with lots of tinned fruit salad. Shouldn't have frozen the rest of the bubble and squeak... though it's good to have a day with no beef dripping!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Can I please join your thread? trying to save money so no slimming club memberships allowed, want to follow a good old solid eating plan which is healthy, cheap and fits in with the family. I am very lucky to have a new shiny treadmill in the garage, a pool that I can access easily and free as often as I like and a real target of a place on the Olympic Park Run at the end of March. I would love to lose a stone by then and be a bit fitter. My aim is to swim 3 times a week (early morning for 30 mins), start the c25K (3/4 short runs a week) and a dog walk (20 mins) every day. I love porridge so I usually have that in the morning, I will aim for fruit snacks, soup with crackers for lunch and a healthy meal in the evening. How does that sound?0

I badly need it as my sweetie eating has increased my weight by a pound this morning:( (gutted - cant even blame the witch - even looked at my diary, but no pure gluttony!!!). I know onwards and all that......
No more though as of today. I am going to be really careful so I am back at my starting pointing point for the 6th January.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Afternoon All
It started really nice and sunny here but has gone very dark and rainy and the wind is back this afternoon. I managed a run this morning but looks like I'll have to collect DGD in the car rather than walking round and letting her walk back. It's my babysitting evening but DDIL starts work at 5 in the holidays so I bring DGD home first then take her home for bed at 7 and babysit there. DS is coming for tea too and I've been busy sorting out meals to use up various bits.
B: Greek yoghurt with HM lemon curd stirred into it.
L: HM granary bread with HM gammon and pickled onions and the last of the HM chicken liver pate on half the crust. Clementine. 1 coffee cream and 1 Terry's Chocolate Orange chocolate.HM pancake stuffed with spinach, green beans, garlic and cheese. Raspberries with more Greek yoghurt. (DS and DH will be eating up a leftover pork chop, sausages, fried potato skins, mashed potato, green beans and mushy peas between them, DGD will share my meal)
Exercise: 35 minute jog (about 4.75K) plus 2 miles of walking warming up and cooling down.
