I am trying to play catch up with various threads! and celebrating the fact that I have lost 2 and a half stone!

    Yes really well done :snow_grin:snow_grin:snow_grin

I am hopefully too getting back on the straight and narrow after a rocky week or two. My hubby and DD were away and he provides me with a lot of support to eat properly. Thus lots of christmas sweeties were eaten and not much else:eek::eek::eek:

We shall see what Friday brings and send you all supportive weight loss vibes especially Ragz, Rose and Sparrer :T:T:T
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Well done Dragon, you are doing great! Are you starting to feel the benefit of it now?

Thank you - and not really! I reckon it will be another couple of stone before I get any real benefit :o

That makes it all the more impressive that you are still so motivated! It must be difficult to keep on track if you can't see your progress paying off yet. You're such an inspiration :)

    Good evening everyone.
    Today I have had -
B - banana, yoghurt, honey ,nuts
L- wholemeal pitta, LF houmous, cucumber
D- spicy veg and lentil soup, small piece of granary bread.
S's -2 cream crackers with LF houmous
I have also eaten 2 mince pies [homemade so quite small] and 1 maryland cookie.
I have been swimming today, I have been working on my backstroke over the last 3 weeks . I can now swim 4 lengths of backstroke without stopping, when I restarted swimming in September 1 lenght of backstroke nearly killed me. So I am really pleased with my progress. Best of all though, I noticed today that my stomach has all of a sudden got quite a bit flatter, I believe this is due to swimming backstroke as it works the core. I will definitely be keeping it up!
I also walked about 8 miles today, so I hope I will get away with those mince pies.
Well done Dragon. Remember every single pound lost is progress and you are improving your health, even if you can't feel it yet.

    Morning all :)
no swimming for me last night as the witch arrived, also explains why I feel like my fingers and boobs are inflated. Yesterday I looked like I was spilling out of my top at work :o Hope some of this water has gone before Friday's weigh in, I'd still like to lose a few more lb by christmas :)

    Today:
    Breakfast: fruit corner
    Lunch: chicken sandwich, apple, satsuma
    Dinner: shepherds pie, veg

    Exercise: Pilates
    Little monkey born November 2012:j
    Froglet due March 2016 :D

Well done from me too Dragon, you're a brilliant example to all. I really think you're amazing, it took me years to get going and here I am in my 60's only just getting the message
Thanks Molly :), need all the help I can get to get off this darned plateau!

    B - F&F ss milk
    D - egg & tomato on toast
    T slim soup, crackerbread
Snacks - from a sorely depleted bowl containing a shrivelled apple, 2 soggy kiwi's and a sour-looking grapefruit. But I will clear it before I buy some lovely fresh stuff on my way out this evening :o
Exercise - everything taken out of the fridge/freezer, whole thing (inside & out, back, front, top & sides) cleaned and sorted before putting back. No prizes for guessing how long it will stay that way, the cats like sitting on the top of it when the warm air flow is! 2 wall cupboards done.

We're blessed with another bright morning, hope it's sunny where you are :)

    Afternoon All

Congratulations from me too Dragon, you are doing really well.

I am having a lovely day as I have had DGD since 11 am and she is staying overnight as her parents have gone to a show in London. So far we've made a Christmas card for Mummy and Daddy with gluing and sticking, done lots of singing and read loads of books. I've even had some exercise as her favourite book at present is Doing The Animal Bop which involves lots of stomping, trudging, jiving, jumping, wriggling etc and every time we got to the end she would say 'Again, again'. I had to call a halt as I was exhausted in the end!! She is now having her afternoon nap.

B: Muesli with sultanas and skimmed milk
L: Poached egg on toast. 2 rings pineapple
D: Chicken breast, peas, creamed spinach with red onion and garlic.

Exercise: 20 minutes Shred DVD. Short walk home with DGD from her house. Numerous performances of The Animal Bop!!
