Afternoon All,
Well, my cold is nearly gone now with just a bit of a cough lingering. Unfortunately, DH has caught my cold and DGD has a runny nose. I didn't babysit for her last night as I was feeling bad but went to bed early instead. However, I have had her for the afternoon today which was lovely.
Not only have I not lost any weight I'm afraid I have put on 3 or 4lbs over the last fortnight. Too many treats with visitors followed by comfort eating and no exercise whilst I've not been well. I shall aim to get back to 8st 12lb by the end of the year but obviously won't have any smiley faces for the Christmas Challenge. I refuse to be defeated though and shall definitely be joining the New Year Challenge. I am going to be sensible eating wise over the next 4 weeks but avoid the scales I think.
B: Muesli
L: Poached egg on toast. Slice of toast with raspberry jam.Chicken breast, spinach with red onions and garlic. Tinned pineapple.
Exercise: Short walk to the shops, library, Post Office and bank so about a mile in all.

Well done to Dragon and Forever Saving x
I will weigh in tomorrow as I was up in the night guzzling tea as I was struck down by insomnia again. No point weighing in the morningHopefully a better night and my wish is to have STS as I have snacked and picked all week. I commiserate with those who have also STS - it is very tough at this time of year. I have a real desire to comfort eat and as my hubby and DD are away I have no-one to encourage me to eat properly.
Be back tomorrow xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Exercise - pulm only due chest infection
Hope it's sunny where you are0 -
Afternoon All,
I feel almost back to normal again today but poor DH is suffering now. I can't decide whether to risk going for a run tomorrow morning with my friend after a week off exercise or get back to routine more slowly. I didn't do a DVD this morning but have walked up to the shops and back and will walk to work later.
B: Muesli with skimmed milk.
L: HM egg and chips with grilled cherry tomatoes and mushrooms.
T: (Packed as at work) Prawn salad wrap. Banana.
Exercise: About 1 1/2 miles of walking.
Hope you are all having a good weekend.

Afternoon All,
I had a very lazy morning with a long lie in (having opted out of a run with my friend on the grounds that I'm still coughing and didn't think it would be sensible). However, I did a couple of hours ironing this afternoon and then crocheted a hat for DD's friend who is taking presents out to her abroad for Christmas.
B: Muesli with extra sultanas
L: Poached egg on toast. BananaStew and dumplings. Raspberry biscuit.
Exercise: None!

So, I need to get back on the wagon! As from tomorrow, I am back to calorie counting, as it makes me focus more, apart from Tuesday as it's my birthday and we're off out for tea!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
