    Good morning everyone :D
Ragz I have lost 1 pound. I am very pleased with that.
I would also like to be included in the New year challenge when the time comes as I still have a way to go.
I'm not sure what my meal plans are yet, but I am about to have sliced banana with yoghurt for breakfast.
I'm going swimming later, hopefully the pool isn't too busy so I can hit it hard.
Have a great day everyone, good luck to those who are weighing in.

    Morning all :)
Didn't manage to go swimming last night as I'd left my keys at home so was locked out :o went to my friend's house until DH got home, but he was late at work and I was so hungry by then I couldn't face going swimming. today I definitely have my keys, so will try and do something after work.

Weighed in this morning, I've stayed the same which I expected, not done much exercise, and food has been up and down.

    Today's meals:
    Breakfast: fruit corner
    Lunch: chicken sandwich, apple, satsumas
Dinner: undecided, maybe oven pizza. lots to do tonight so it will be something v easy.

Dragon :T would you please share some of your 4lb, seems that so far quite a few of us have sts this week. Rags I know how you feel, just when I got going at a lb a week it's skidded to a halt again. Very annoyed but makes me all the more determined I'm going to lose that beggar next week !

B - hm toast, yogurt, marmalade
    L - hm soup, 2 crispbreads
D - jacket, yogurt, rf cheese
Snacks - apple, pear, melon, satsuma
Exercise - none, sleep day :(

    Enjoy your day :)
  • Hello old friends and new, hope you have all been happy and healthy (not including colds here!) :j

Well, we've had a tough 3 weeks, hence why i've been MIA. My cousin's husband just didn't wake up one morning at 49. Massive heart attack in his sleep. So i had to go and help out with the funeral and fall out etc, poor kids are completely devastated.

Anyway, back home now and there have been a few ups and downs with weight but i seem to have been fairly stable through the 3 weeks. Difficult as it was other people's cooking/erratci eating etc but at least i know i can do it if i am off the 'diet' so to speak.

So, nothing to report in terms of a loss but i don't mind that this week :o

Hope everyone has a great weekend - we have school xmas fair so i will try and stay away from the cake table :A

Afraid not! I need all the losses I can get I'm afraid - after 34 pounds I am still less than 20% of the way there

  • Fallen off the wagon big style this week :( need to get back on....

I feel this way as well. I feel like i have eaten really badly this week. My manager brought in 2 tins of quality street earlier in the week. I couldnt keep myself away from them and have had between 3-6 chocolates 3 times this week, alongside a having a biscuit or 2 every day and then today same manager brought in cookies (the large bakery type ones) so have had one & half cookies (chocs have been guzzled now thank goodness :T)

I am putting it down to the fact i have been very tired all week, and the fact that the temperature has dropped/rubbish weather.

Feeling a bit glum though as i have done so well for 9 weeks , and just treated myself at weekends. I suppose the saving grace is that i have cycled to work 4 days this week(although only 6 miles a day) ..

Here is to a better week next week..

The Dragon - Well done you! You've exceeded your target, well done on all the hard work and keep it up :T you've still come a long way, and have passed the 10% mark which is a big one, a lot of people would have found it too much to face even trying!

Unfortunately, the less you have to lose, the slower it comes off... as many of us are currently finding.

I am beginning to think my DH may be right (shhh don't tell him!), it's not possible to lose weight in winter! But, NO, I will prove him wrong... I will, I will, I will... I refuse to live in a universe where my husband is right!

Too much baking this time of year though, and if it's here I eat it. Just had a tiny piece of cake that I am making for school Christmas bazaar tomorrow. Raspberry jam and coconut sponge... will serve some for pudding tonight with custard. I will try not to have any... especially as I have done lamb curry for dinner (will scrape as much fat off as I can!)
