Hi everyone!
Would you mind if I join you please? I have been on the Slimming World thread for a few weeks but have never stuck to the plan for more than 2 days at a timeso decided it was time to try something new.
I've decided to just eat less and better and move a lot more. Got about 2.5 stone to lose, going on a little holiday to Wales in June (wish it was abroad!) so thats my inspiration to lose a few pounds because don't want to look bad on the photos!0 -
Morning everyone!!
I have been VERY bad over the long weekend and managed to eat out at TGI Fridays and an all you cane at chinese buffet, as well as roast dinner round my mum's and lots of chocolate and other snacks. Won't be going to WI last night as I'm going to be extra good this week in the hope I can turn it around! I only just got back to the weight I was 5 weeks ago last week so can't face a WI that will undo all that. No one to blame but myself though!
Today:
Breakfast - Fat free natural yogurt with spoonful of blueberry jam
Lunch - Soup, Muller Rice
Dinner - HM Veg soup and granary bread0 -

Hi everyone,
Um I think I need to look up MODERATION in the dictionary :rotfl:. I demolished my flake Easter egg last night but reassured myself that it all works out the same whether it was all in one go or spread out over a month. Very nice it was too. The inlaws went overboard again giving us 6 eggs but luckily DD and DS3 were on hand to demolish some for us.
Have had quite a lot of exercise over the holiday as I've walked DD's dog as well as ours and we've been working on the new pond again so lots of heavy work. Almost finished, just a bit more landscaping and then I can start planting both in it and around it.:T
Welcome to cheeseadict and minjara (well done on the 3lb loss) and a big congrats to baby mother on the 2lb loss. I so hope to join you this month.
Off to get some lunch now - slice of lean beef and salad. Banana & grapes with a spoon of yogurt for pud.
Tea will be a chicken stir fry with boiled rice.
Breakie was porridge and fruit juice."It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are." Unknown0 -
Morning all
I'm back properly and seriously now after the Easter excesses...I only had one Egg (that's OK...it's plenty!) but have eaten much too much generally and I'm stopping today.
I need to go down town for my 'official' weigh-in in Boots but my first target is to lose a stone by my birthday at the beginning of June - I think that's do-able if I stick to my SW and do plenty of exercise.
When I lost weight and exercised last year my stomach had got much flatter but now it's coming back and this is quite upsetting me!! I much preferred it flatter!. Anyway, no use moaning - I know what to do!
So today I'm going to read the thread from the beginning for inspiration and get my slimming world head on...and mealplan whilst avoiding leftover cake!
Hope everybody has a good day.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
Hi everyone,
Um I think I need to look up MODERATION in the dictionary :rotfl:. I demolished my flake Easter egg last night but reassured myself that it all works out the same whether it was all in one go or spread out over a month. Very nice it was too. .I ate my mini egg one yesterday(still got the eggs though for later)
I thought the sooner it was gone out of the way the better!:D
am praying for a STS at tonights weigh in so fingers crossed for me!;)Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Noticed a strange dark thing under my bust yesterday, I think it could be the ribcage....haven't seen that in decades...
Well done everyone..and thanks for the inspiration...0 -
Hello again everyone. Haven't been motivated to post in the last couple of weeks as i have been rubbish. Don't dare weigh myself. On the plus side only had one easter egg this year instead of the customary 4 or 5.
Yesterday was a good day ( a pullyoursocksup day it was). Had:
B: toast and banana (200)
L: mussels with tomato and goats cheese salad (400)
S: 2 lite chocolate mousses (150)scallops with 2 different salads, apple ( 400)
So around 1200 cals without feeling at all hard done by.
Today:
B: cornflakes with milk and splenda (200) small orange juice (50)
L: mushroom pasta (500)quorn thing with 2 salads (one tomato, goats cheese and mint in low fat honey and mustard dressing, the other baby leaf in garlic and herb dressing) (450)
Hope you have all been ok ladies, off to look through the thread to see who's been naughty.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
Had veg soup for dinner last night and then ate half a tub of hagen daaz and a whole bag of kettle chips
My sister is living with me at the moment and has even less will power than I do!! She's my diet sabatuer at the moment. She even said last night that i won't lose weight whilst she's living with me, though she said it in jest there's some truth there!
Today:
Breakfast - muffin with jam
Lunch - Soup, Muller light yogurt (12 for £2 at Morrisons this week!!)
Dinner - Vegetable stir-fry
Snack - Cereal Bar0
