plans for today
B - scrambled egg on WM toast
L - jacket spud, cheese and salad
D - quorn escalope, rustic chipc, peas and salad
yoghurt and fruit as snacks.
have a good day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
I have lost 4lbs this week. Just goes to show what cutting out holiday booze and ice cream can do!!
Today, so far have had :-
BF: Sliced banana, 100g very low fat natural yogurt, 1tsp each of porridge oats and honey.
snack : 100g grapes
and half a pint of milk
Dinner will be half a carton of NCG Kegeree soup with wholemeal toast and for tea we have turkey stir fry planned.
We have been a little naughty over the weekend. On Saturday went to Costa coffee and had breakfast loaf with my brew and then last night we went to the cinema nad went to Nando's afterwards - we had a free chicken due to us on our loyalty card. Me and MrM had the chicken between us with a corn on the cob and had red pepper dip for starters.
Am definitely going to do exercise DVD tonight though. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

today i have eaten the following -
Brekkie - Bowl of special K, skimmed milk & cup of tea
Snack - 2 pink & whites (they are wafer biscuits with marshmellow in the middle)
Lunch - 2 quorn sausages , sweetcorn , carrott, peppers & mushrooms with a small handful of wholegrain pasta. I had it as kind of a salad
Snack - boots shapers caramel bar

Morning all and well done to everybody
.
I have been agonising for the last couple of days whether to rejoin the SW bodyoptimise site. I'm floundering a bit on my own but I can't afford it (£60) and I still need to learn my own rules. I will be strong and resist as I have the diet anyway but really I want to get away from diets altogether. I'm not just trying to lose weight, I need to relearn how to eat sensibly and I think this is the real problem for me.
rainbowfairydust - you've done brilliantly and I take heart from your post - you seem to have it sussed (though I don't like counting calories!).
Today will be
Br : porridge with a few raisins and milk.
L: HM soup (see what I've got in the freezer)
T: Lasagne and salad.
Snack : fruit and yogurt.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -

I feel this way too franby. I have been on my weight loss plan since 4 Jan and, with the aid of Ollierstat, have lost consistently however I seem to have toyed with different diet plans. I started off on WW as this has always worked for me - followed the old Core Plan because I find it better not to be regimented and count points/calories and feel more in control aiming for three meals a day and snacking on fruit. Then as it was getting near to my holidays I was worried that I was not really conscious of the amount of calories in certain foods so started counting calories which I couldn't then get my head around as I've been so used to WW points which are simpler to count up ie it's easier to count up 19 points a day rather than 1200 calories.
Now that I'm back I'm back to eating the three meals and snacking on fruit. As they say, if it ain't broken don't try to fix it!Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I have started eating healtier foods and getting more exercise to get myself ready for my holiday and have also started batch cooking etc to save on the shopping bill. I dont want to lose alot of weight (I look weird when my body goes below a certain weight) but deff need to tone the baby belly etc.
I have a fab Italian veg soup recipie (from my fab brother) and think its right up the os street (this is my batch cooking ammount so half everything if you dont want to make a huge pot)
5 cubes veg / chicken stock (you can make your own stock but im still learning this cooking malarky so cheated a bit)
5 tins of tomatoes
1058g white / green cabbage (I used white)
575g onions
841g potatoes
25g garlic
878g chopped tomatoes
529g leeks
1284g carrots
402g celery
500g butter beans
200g soup and broth mix
large table spoon of tomatoe puree
pinch of salt and pepper (I like to add some more pepper when serving my own but the kids only like a little pepper)
I ajusted the recipe a bit and used chicken stock and added 1000g chicken to as my family love their meat and would have moaned if it was just veg
chop it all up throw it in a pot and cook (if you use meat too fry in a little oil first or if your super healthy boil gently)
total calories (including the chicken) 5685 and their is enough soup to feed a small army lol
anyway hope you like it:)0 -
Hi all,
Haven't posted for a while and have just skimmed the last couple of pages, so well done to the losers esp over easter and welcome to the newbie's.
I had a dreadful Easter, 2 roast meals, 1 meal out and lots of booze. I also ploughed my way through a mini-egg easter egg (Tappy I agree soonest eaten the better!).
Then this weekend I've had another 2 meals out (family to blame), I have just done a 2 day food study that involves how sucrose works with the body, I had to write down ALL the things I ate and drank for 4 days before which was real wake up call (you have to name the milk type used in tea, fat type used to cook dinner, every snack by type and size, all drinks etc ).
But I lost 3lbs in 2 days which is good as I put on 2lbs over easter weekend alone. If I can shift another 1lb before my weigh in on 26th I'll be happy.
Good luck to you all and hopefully a bit of normality can return to our lives before the next bank holiday!0 -
Hi all,
I've been away on tour with my friends band for 10 days so I was terrified of weighing when I came home due to late nights, takeout food, catering providing big desserts and far too much alcohol! So I'm delighted to find that I have STS!! I have probably added some muscle too from lugging boxes and heavy stuff around
Back to reality today:
B: 2 wholemeal toast with scrape of cream cheese
L: Probably nothing as we had a late breakfastRoast chicken, mashed sweet potato, steamed cauli, carrots, broccoli and peas with a stuffing ball and a little gravy
Have a great week all0 -
Well done on your losses floyd, valm and rainbowfairydust. :j I like the look of that soup too angel.
Had a couple of drinks last night so no exactly stuck to plan, but it wasn't a stupid amount. Today so far I've had:
B: cornflakes with milk and splenda (200)
S: chocolate biscuit, pear (70)
L: vegetable risotto (used butter and cheese) (600)
Tonight will have 2 quorn smokey bbq fajitas (500 - 600)
A bit over the 1200 cals but not bad. I think aiming for 1200 and missing by 100-300 cals still keeps you on track for weightloss.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0
