Hya everyone, regulars and newbies.

    WI today....and I have lost a pound! :j
This is since Monday as I was away last weekend (from Thursday night) and so weighed in on Monday to see what the damage was (2 pounds on). So that's one of them off...now to shift more of the rest that I have put on since January!

I really have to stop this yo-yoing and get down to a serious weight-losing mode...not sure how I will manage, but I really have to try.

    Food for today:

B: Porridge made with soya milk, water and sultanas; OJ
    S: Slice fat-free fruit loaf
D: Houmous sandwich with cherry toms (HM houmous & bread); banana
    S: Slice fat-free fruit loaf
    T: Rabbit stew with tomato (from HF-W Everyday cook book), dumplings and veg;
    S: Slice fat-free fruit loaf

  • Well done Keiss 21!!

I drank too much last night so blew my day's points total but am making up for it today with swimming. Will be doing a blitz on the house tomorrow, packing lots of things away and cleaning so that should count towards some activity and will be swimming on Sunday too.

    Today:
Breakfast - Cherrios and ss milk
Lunch - Soup, crispbreads and yogurt
Dinner - Jacket Potato and baked beans
Snack - Cereal bar and probably a little something after swimming too!

Have a good weekend everyone :j

    Hey all!!

Having a pretty good week though DF bought me a bunny shaped malteser chocolate thing last night which was a bit naughty!

Have managed to walk once this week and get up early three mornings to go on the crosstrainer. Doing 20 mins at the mo. Hope to be doing 30mins by the end of next week.

    Today -

B - Rice crispies with SS milk and OJ
S - Kelloggs mini oat bites
L - Sandwich - HM brean and low fat philly
    S - Banana
D - Veggie sausages, beans and poached egg

Drinks so far - 1 litre of water, 2 cups of tea and a cup of coffee

20 mins on the cross trainer at 6.30am and swimming when i finish work for about an hour - hour and a half. :j

Really would like to go out for a jog but feel i look to 'wobbly' to do that yet!! I have a skipping rope and think skipping in the garden would make a good exercise change.

I hope everyone is doing well

Well done on the weight to all those that have lost! :T

    Hi all,
Well done Keiss on your loss and BabyMother for STS. So far in this household we are sticking to the healthy eating campaign. This considering we've been digging out tons of soil for the new large pond is one heck of an achievement. Normally this would herald of food frenzy as we'd worked so hard :rotfl:. Feeling totally shattered today so pottering around catching up on the housework. The dogs are giving me 'the look', wanting their walk but I'm holding off untill it stops raining (feeling so wimpy!).
DS has been brilliant, digging and wheeling barrows all weekend, outdoing his dad. Plus he's not complained about eating fruit and veg and has asked what he should and shouldn't eat. So proud of him :T.
    Have a good day folks!

    Hi all

    Congrat's Tappy - 22 years!

well done everyone else you all seem very focused.

I'm doing really badly, 2 lots of buffet food at 2 different pubs meant I JUMPED off the waggon rather than fell this weekend. But I'm archiving a load of stuff today so far more active than a normal day at work.

I'm also doing a food study next week which means I have to note down everything I eat and drink for 4 days, I have a diary to fill in and it gives some photos of small, med & large portions of rice, pots, pasta, meat, cheese etc and its made me realise I don't eat a small portion of anything!

I'm hoping having to write everything down will give me a kick up the backside to get back to eating sensibly.

    Today:
B: toasted hot cross bun with light spread
    S: none
    L: cheese & coleslaw sandwich
    S: banana
D: roasted vegs (corgette, peppers, sweet pots) and left over roast chicken

i've lost 3 kg in 3 months by doing exercise with friends - totally feel you can't let them down :-) it's peer pressure in a good way. I've also stopped going down the chocolate/biscuit/crisp sections in the supermarket. It's so much easier if I just avoid it once in the supermarket than every single day at home with the cupboards stocked with these snacks!! I eat much more often now, but less each time. So a good breakfast e.g. museli, then snack on a number of nuts/raisins/fruit throughout the day. I drink a lot more water and sip this throughout the day. Then lunch, maybe something noodle based. Then more snacks (healthy ones) and then a lighter dinner earlier in the evening. I used to have dinner at 10pm!! I've injured myself unfortunately so I can't do much exercise at the moment, so let's hope I don't put all the weight back on! Hope this helps
    Good luck :)
