hi to anyone that remembers me :)
have found myself lurking more and more recently. have managed to keep off most of the 46lb i lost (i know sig says 42) but on weighing this morning the couple of lbs i knew i had re-gained had hit 6  i know its not massive but i need to stop and get it sorted right now.
wine and cheese seem to be the major culprits.
i really need to keep myself in check.
well done to all the losers, you inspired me massively before and i know you will again

I somehow managed to lose 3lbs at WI last night even though I've been a pig this week. It is my week for unnatural weight loss though in my monthly cycle so it's all good :D Was convinced it would've been a gain last night so going to try and use this as an incentive to keep going this week. Have 1lb left of my weight gain from Butlins weekend to go before I'm back to normal and then onwards and upwards!!!

    Today:
Breakfast - Cheerios and ss milk
Lunch - Soup, Oat biscuits and yogurt
Dinner - Jack Potato & Baked beans with salad
    Snack - Cereal bar

    Good afternoon all,
Been awol for a while but still reading the posts. Welcome to all who've joined/rejoined.
Things here have reached what I hope will be a turning point. All three of us (DH & DS4 both very fussy eaters) need to loose weight. It's been so hard trying to do it on my own while 'others' eat junk and try and tempt me with so called treats . Been here so often before I could scream, but if we don't do something soon DH is heading for serious health issues and DS4 not far behind him. Suffered so far from glowers and slamming doors from DS when I didn't buy his favourite food this week. However DD (nurse)and I had a long talk with him yesterday and hopefully he'll come round today. At least he ate porridge for breakfast this morning which was a major breakthrough. His lunch is ready for him so fingers crossed.
I bought some new clothes last weekend with my Christmas and birthday money. Decided that the thought of having nothing at all to wear would depress me so much that it would be counter productive so got some very nice tops and combats in sales. Hopefully as I lose weight they are the style that can be worn loose. Also replaced all my aging makeup and got some lovely pampering creams and still had £6 change. A huge thank you to all my family for the lovely prezzies. Hopefully the confidence boost will help spur me on. No idea what I weigh so will brave the scales on the 31st. At least I know I haven't put it all back on thankfully, as the new clothes are 18 and I used to be 22.
Hope you all have a good day and keep strong.

Hello, can I join you all?

I'm planning my wedding, but frightened myself by getting on the scales on Monday morning, as I am now 7lb heavier than I was after Christmas

Anyway, the plan is to lose 11lb, hopefully by end of April. Then I want to aim to keep my weight steady, although it may drop as we get nearer to September! :p

Breakfast: grapefruit (also good for my cholesterol)
    Snack: Special K bar
Lunch: 125g prawns & 1 chopped avocado with black pepper & white wine vinegar, low-fat yogurt and banana
Tea: Cold curry savoury rice & 3 cold small roasted chicken drumsticks with no skin (because I ate it when they were hot :o)
Drinks: glass of apple & mango juice, green tea x 2 plus a couple of pints of water

I will weigh myself every Monday morning, and will probably be a weekday poster as its easier to nip on at work, but I promise I will try not to lose the weight-loss head at weekends :D

Hi, im overweight and feeling unfit so i thought perhaps joining in this thread will help me on my way.

To keep food costs down i was getting the meal deals but then i have realised that they are often not the healthiest of meals eg with lots of sauces etc and i also end up ordering wine with the meal deal.

I am in my third week of jogging its going ok and i am starting to feel like i am getting slightly fitter.

Today so far i have eaten

Breakfast - porridge and teaspoon of syrup
snack - nuts and dried fruit, grapefruit
Lunch - Peice of multiseed bread, small slice of cheese tin of soup
    snack - apple
Dinner - not sure yet i have tinned tuna or bacon in the fridge (no freezer it broke) could be pasta tomato sauce and bacon??

I need to lose around 3 1/2 stone so i am in this for the long haul x

welcme to floss and ANY CHANCE :)

suzid - my DH also needs to lose weigh as he has some serious health issues so I'm trying to help him too. I think if we're all eating the same it should make it easier as so far we've eaten lots of different things. The only difference is I dont eat meat and the others do(I do eat fish though)

good luck to all the lovely new faces.:hello:

Last time I did WW my DH lost at the same rate as me just because I was cooking healthier and smaller meals (portions are our biggest killer in this house!).

Did well yesterday and today is looking good, I don't eat as much as I thought and if I avoid naughty treats I will never eat my points allowance (28 out of 34 yesterday and not even 20 today if I stick to meal plan) so I think I'll ignore points for now and just eat sensibly rather than bingeing on rubbish. I think WW was fine when I wasn't breastfeeding but it'll just confuse me now...
