last night DH and I took some "before" photos and did all our measurments. Hoping to see a big difference by the new yearDH does his weigh in on a Wednesday, and was upset that he "only" lost 2 lb (after losing 3 the week before). I managed to cheer him up by handing him the 5lb piece of gammon we're having for Sunday lunch and saying "that's what you've lost in 2 weeks!" he looked a bit surprised at the weight of it! :rotfl: He's never really dieted before!
Fab! Well done to your DH, sounds like he's doing well, just got to keep him motivated now
Pollys Well done on the 1.5lb loss, have updated the list. You are doing really well :T
TOTM today and for breakfast I had leftover very cheesy buttery mash and half a packet of cow biscuits... now I feel sick... :rotfl:

Morning all.
My meal plans for today -
B - small piece of granary baguette with marmite
mid morning- 3 brazil nuts, FF yoghurt, 1 clementine
L - cheese omelette, salad
Tea- wholemeal pitta, LF houmous, grated carrot, cucumber, tomatoes.
I have decided I am drinking too much coffee, so will reduce it and have orange squash instead.
I have already been swimming, I swam for an hour and managed to include 3 lengths of backstroke which really knocks me out, so I am going to try and improve my backstroke. I will try and increase my backstroke lengths by 1 each day, instead of swimming all breaststroke.
Also walking 4-5 miles today.
Best of luck everyone.0 -

Morning all, have my weigh in later, hope it's good after last weeks later weigh in and gain!
I have managed to do 10,000 steps every day and done a class or Wii Zumba.
I just found some low fat cream from Tesco's so I have a cunning plan for cream tea!0 -

Sorry ragz but you did make me smile. Hope your tum has settled now
I've fallen by the wayside too, needed to pop into Mr M on my way out last night, got a few ys bits, and when I got home later I had a big, fat rustic roll with spread, rf cheese and pickle. Talk about a self-destruct button!
Today was/will be
Brunch - tomato, mushrooms, sausage on plain toast
T - 2 crispbreads with vegemite/lf philly
D - veg omelette with grated carrot, onion, broccoli and any other veg lurking in the bottom of the fridge, sauted in a little oil/water mix
Snacks - melon, apple, satsumas, plums if they're ripe
Exercise - stairs, an hour's pulm workout
Enjoy your day0 -

I hate to disappoint, but I'm not sure you can whip LF creamI think it needs the fat content to hold the air bubbles in place.

Afternoon All,
I had a horrendous shock on the scales this morning - all that tasting of my baking has had a dire effect so I'm having an extra strict low carb day ready for the official weigh in this morning. I've virtually finished all the cooking for my friend's Bonfire Party though - 20 sticky toffee puddings, 2 pints of toffee sauce, 2 fruit cakes (plus one for DH), 2 trays of flapjack and a tray of Parkin! I just need to make 2 huge vats of soup tomorrow - I'm doing carrot for one and celeriac for the other.
B: Milky coffee
S: Apple
L: Tinned salmon
T: Prawn omelette. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
I have DGD at the moment. She came for lunch and is now in her cot having an afternoon nap. I took her out for new shoes earlier and ended up buying purple suede boots (proper Clarks ones) which are far more frivolous than anything I ever bought my 2 when they were little. I thought boots might be better than shoes in the cold weather as she doesn't wear shoes indoors.
Exercise: 50 minutes DVD, 2 mile walk
Hope everyone is doing better than I am.

It seems to be in aerosol form so you can squirt it out. I found it on Mr T's website so I haven't actually got some yet but I will let you know! Some people substitute yoghurt but I don't think that's going to do it for me. A cream tea is something I love and scones and jam aren't that bad!
Really pleased I lost 3lb (Ragz that's only an extra 2 smilies due to putting on one last week please) :j
Rose I read your post and you are busy as usual and also looking at how much weight you have lost:you have done brilliantly, I think those last bits are always hardest (but I am a way off that!). When I bake I sometimes put a teaspoon in my mouth. Bizarre I know but it stops me taking tastes without even realising it. Your friends party sounds lovely!0 -
Ragz - your breakfast sounds similar to mine but remember that the "Witch" dictated you ate it so it really doesn't count:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Im not going to weigh in tomorrow or in fact at all this week. I need to take the pressure off myself and get back on track without fear of disappointment. Otherwise I can see myself spiralling out of control and then it will be very hard to get back on the straight and narrow. I think that a few health issues are coming into play so want to get those sorted this week too.
I shall still be reading and posting and will update my weight next friday. I wish you all well for your respective weigh-ins tomorrow and well done to Annie on your loss:T:T:TI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
A bit better today, but not much
b - cheerios with skimmed milk, 1 slice of granary toast
s - apple, 10 almonds
l - chicken salad sandwich, fresh pineapple
t - HM lasagne, salad, m!lky way.
My target is to lose 5lbs in November, I need to be doing better!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
