Afternoon All,
I can't believe it's completely dark already! It feels so late and it's only just after 5. I've had a busy afternoon in the kitchen as I've been doing a load of baking for a friend's Bonfire Party. So far I've made 2 fruit cakes, Parkin and a huge batch of sticky toffee sauce ready for sticky toffee puddings. I'm also making her 2 different soups but will make those nearer the day. As I'm the sort of cook who continually tastes (for quality control of course!) and scrapes out the bowls I expect I've had quite a few extra calories to those on the official list.
B: Muesli with extra raisins.
L: Slice of toast with smoked mackerel pate and HG cherry tomatoes.Chicken thigh, new potatoes with butter, HG green beans, roasted butternut squash.
Exercise: 1 1/2 hours at exercise class - total body workout and extra abs. 2 walks - to class and to PO so about 2 miles.

I have had a disastrous day as regards my eating - the worst one for many weeks. It all started with Halloween Chocolate Cake and leftover Garlic Prawns for breakfast and got worse as the day progressed:eek::eek::eek: Mindful eating flew out of the window but I am determined to put it behind me. Hence I have put myself to bed away from any further temptation and have planned my meals for tomorrow.
Hope you have done better than me but in reality you could not have done worse:(:(

Again it's for a 3 month contract, and only 1 months notice after that, so we're not tied in for too long. Hopefully by the time our 3 months are up we'll be in the habit and not want to cancel.
I just called my local leisure centre and it charges more than the commercial gym! How does that work??? Anyway i think i've found a good deal after much research nd calling around. Just have to convince mr. Gaga that its worth the spend!0 -

leftover Garlic Prawns for breakfast
Sorry Molly but as someone who's not trying to lose weight and much prefers savoury breakfasts to sweet, this sounds delish!
Don't be too hard on yourself, you could do way worse than that for breakfast if your other meals contain more fibre and carbs and not as much sugar, it's a sensible option. And even if for once your other meals didn't balance everything out, it's only one single day! Don't starve to compensate, going back to balanced meals when you can is the best way to get back on track.
Take care and good luck0 -
Thank you Ruby for your kind words. I think I had to go with what with my body was craving which was prawns. Im due my B12 injection next week - just looked at calendar - and I always crave fish when my levels are low. The chocolate? well that was what the Witch dictated I ate:eek::eek::eek:
Anyway Im feeling better this morning and have had a good breakfast and meals planned for the rest of the day. Please keep posting Ruby as we are a very friendly bunch xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Mornin' all - late today as I had to pick up DGD2 for her orthodontist appointment. Took 35 mins to go 9 miles at 8am, so pleased to be retired!
Brunch - dry fried egg and mushrooms, grilled tomato and sausage on plain toast
Tea - 2 crispbreads, one with vegemite, one with lf philly
Supper - if I'm hungry, bowl of F&F
Snacks - satsumas, grapes, melon, apple
Exercise - as bottom stair is getting very creaky I'm now going upstairs twice every time I need something, ie up, down, up. Feels a bit silly but as long as no-one can see me will carry on. Washed down all the radiators, stuck foil reflectors back up as they keep falling down. This time the amount of blutac I've used will hold the walls up in a tornado!
Enjoy the rest of the day0 -
Good Morning x
It's a dull and grey day outside and inside my head as my anxiety has kicked back in big-time:eek::eek::eek:
I really do think that this is as a result of my eating this week as I have overdosed on Chocolate and am in dire need of my B12 as I am craving (and I mean craving) oily fish. I bought a packet yesterday and it was all I could do to restrain myself from ripping open the packet and eating a whole smoked mackerel at the checkout. Needless to say said fish did not find it's way home but was eaten in the car:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Already this morning I have opened and eaten a packet of cooked salmon. I actually dont like fish much either but just cant help myself.
I also weighed myself this morning - big mistake:mad::mad::mad: Will officially weigh-in tomorrow or might give myself until Saturday to undo this week's damage.
Wishing you all a good day - I see a splash of watery sunshine so hopefully the day will get better xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Today's meals:
Breakfast: greek yoghurt corner
Lunch: square wrap, houmous, periperi chicken fillet, rocket. Apple and satsumas
Dinner: thai flavoured mackerel fillet and noodle salad
(random tesco purchase last night, shouldn't be allowed to shop while hungry! Will report back if nice though, be good with salad in the summer)
exercise: step (45 mins)
last night DH and I took some "before" photos and did all our measurments. Hoping to see a big difference by the new yearDH does his weigh in on a Wednesday, and was upset that he "only" lost 2 lb (after losing 3 the week before). I managed to cheer him up by handing him the 5lb piece of gammon we're having for Sunday lunch and saying "that's what you've lost in 2 weeks!" he looked a bit surprised at the weight of it! :rotfl: He's never really dieted before!
