Hi All,
I too keep overindulging at the moment, which is so annoying with only 5lbs to go. It is definitely the last half stone that is the hardest. Trouble is, I now fit into size 8's which makes it harder to stay motivated. However, I still have a roll of flesh at the waist so am hoping that the last 5lbs will get rid of it.
B: Fat free vanilla yoghurt with oat bran and stewed apple.
L: Treated DS and family and DH to lunch out. I had single egg and about 10 chips, and Coke. Followed when I got home by icecream and toffee sauce.Prawn salad wrap. More icecream and toffee sauce. All the icecream is now gone so as long as I don't buy any more it can't tempt me!
Exercise: Two exercise classes. The first an hour of sports conditioning and the second half an hour of very intensive core work. I thought I had done quite well doing my DVDs all summer whilst there were no classes but really had to work hard today. I expect I shall ache tomorrow. I've also walked about 3 and a half miles in short walks to and from classes, cafe and shopping.

Hello and well done on the weight loss. Hopefully it will continue and we can achieve our individual goals.
I will weigh in tomorrow as i have been all over the place this past week. Im hoping for a loss as I have been on a restricted diet for 24 hours (no food and clear fluids only) in preparation for a procedure today. Now I can eat but only managed a small bowl of home-made soup, a roll and an ice-cream and now Im stuffed!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Hi, I am glad to have tracked down this thread having looked recently without success!
I would love to join the lose a stone by Christmas group to help focus my mind. My sister is also getting married in March so I will have another natural target.
I have lost a stone since the end of June and am enjoying finding nice recipes to cook. I think it is definitely important to me to feel I am eating nice food and making an effort. I have tried low fat cheddar and am amazed to say I think it is brilliant. I also love shopping at Aldi especially their fruit and veg with the super 6 at 49p.
I am trying to be organised for my snack attacks and today I chopped up some veg in readiness for the munchies. I also put the multipack of kitkats in the freezer to prevent further overindulging.
Keep up the good work everyone, really good to have some virtual support!:A

Welcome to the challenge, all of you who have joined since I last posted, think I have added you all but if I've missed anyone/anything please let me know.
AnnieTheQueen - Welcome to the thread and the challenge, I'm afraid putting KitKats in the freezer would not stop me eating them... might make them last longer though
Lilme Welcome back! I've been using MyFitnessPal for the last 2 weeks and have to admit I am loving it. I don't scan, I weigh and enter and add my own recipes on there to get the calorie amounts, surprised by how easy it was.
Blondy24 Congratulations
Rosewood You've done so well, those last few pounds must be driving you crazy! Keep at it, you can get there.
Have added smilies next to Challenge members' names on the List post, as little 'badges' for each pound lost (hope no one thinks that's too twee and silly), tried it with the 'clapping' one but that just looked OTT!
Well done to everyone who's lost already :T
I have lost a pound, am now under 12stone1lb. swimming is really helping, need to motivate myself back to running though.
Littlemoog If your husband won't go to a class/gym/pool (mine wouldn't either) you'll have to find him (erm, I mean persuade him it was his idea to find...) a sport/activity he can get interested in and motivated about. For a man I'd suggest cycling, as it involves a machine and wheels and has a visable purpose (gets you from a to b, which is fine as long as B is not pub). It can be done whatever you fitness level and bikes can be picked up cheap second hand.
CCP can you get a cheap exercise bike/row machine/cross trainer? (Not as noisy for neighbours as the thump of a treadmill, if you get quiet-ish ones) or do weights and yoga/pilates indoors and maybe swimming for the cardio?
Almost fat free banana bread recipe might try this tomorrow. Only have 1 egg but someone comented on the recipe saying they used one egg white and 4 tsp of baking powder so that may work...June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Morning all and congratulations blondy! I had another good day yesterday, finishing at just slightly over 1,000 calories. I wonder how some days I can have an endless suppply of willpower and another day none at all?! Perhaps I am finally geared up for losing this remaining 4 lbs (and then some?). Stuck to my plan yesterday, weighing and counting the calories in everything:
B - Porridge with raspberries (I do get fed up of it but find it the most filling low-cal brekkie)
L - 2 slices toasted Nimble, poached egg, TTD cherry tomatoes, thin sliced ham. Sliced mini banana, FF vanilla yogurt & crumbled ginger snap.
D - Tuna and prawn salad, few HM wedges. Strawberries & LF choc mousse with SF jelly.
S - Nectarine, handful of grapes, bag Aldi cheese curls.
Have a good day all. It's looking better here today, that horrendous wind is dropping at last. May get a walk in later if it stays dry!
ps ragz the banana bread sounds interesting, will take a look at that. Thanks!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
Morning all
Stuck to plan yesterday, with the addition of a mini-milk for dessert, yum! Didn't manage to go swimming though, I felt totally exhausted after work, even though I had a desk/paperwork day, as opposed to a day on my feet in the lab
Today's meals:
Breakfast: 1 slice wm toast, heaped tsp peanut butter, small glass ss milk
Lunch: wm granary pastrami sandwich, peach, pear, apple
Dinner: 1/2 can beans on 1 slice wm granary toast, 0.75oz grated cheese. (DH out for a restaurant lunch, so small tea is in order)
Exercise: lunchtime walk (if the weather holds), probably about 3 miles. Pilates after work.
Am off to the GP in a bit, hope there's an answer to why I feel so grotty all the timeLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
