Morning all
didn't get on to post over the weekend, so here's a quick summary. Saturday night we went out for curry for a friends birthday, so during the day I had a muller corner, and 2 slices of tiger bread with ham for lunch. Out for dinner and drinkies + dancing, which must have been good exercise as it was so hot in the bar
Yesterday had the same during the day, but also 3 squares of fudge (all butter from Tesco, lush) and homemade pizzas for tea. No exercise as DH feeling a little delicate in the morning and weather was grim in the afternoon (apart from dashing out to rescue the washing from the line)
Today's meals:
breakfast: muller breakfast corner
lunch: salami sandwich on wm granary, peach, clementine, apple
dinner: roast pork (which DH felt too poorly to have yesterday) with mash, carrots, cabbage and gravy. Will try to only have 1 small bit of crackling
Exercise: nothing planned, i'm so tiredfinding it very hard to get going at the moment, suspect this is down to thyroid levels going wonky, will find out at GPs on Wednesday.

Anyone else wants to join please let me know and I'll add you. Doesn't have to be a stone, more or less is fine, it's all personal! If anyone I have mentioned wants details changing/adding let me know. I will try my best to keep up with everyone's losses but feel free to PM me if I miss you. Final weigh in will be 23rd December but if you want your own that's fine just let me know.
Thought it would be nice to give ourselves a little reward for the challenge, maybe £1 per pound lost to spend on favourite things (cosmetics, books, whatever) then if you don't manage the full stone you can still have something. Just an idea. think about what you'd like to treat yourself to then you have a reward to look forward to.
RoseWood and TA Well done for getting so close to goal, must be a really annoying stage though as I bet it'd be really easy to just say 'Well I'm not fat so what they hell, I'll have a biscuit'. Keep at it you guys are an inspiration
The Dragon I've put your 2lb loss in (great headstart there, well done), it's up to you but if you want me to reset you to 0 let me know. There's still over 14 weeks to go.
Blondy24 Welcome to the thread, do you want me to add you for a stone by christmas?June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Please add me to the 14 lb challenge. Many thanks xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Christmas Challenge Please add me in for 14 lbs too Ragz. I have a target of losing 21 lbs which is 10% of my body weight and I am sure I could lose this but if I set the bar too high I get discouraged. Knowing I'm aiming to lose a stone with the rest of you should spur me on, I won't want to let the side down.
CCP Ricotta.... not that bad at all when it comes to cheese 134cal/100g and 9.6g fat (see cheddar 416cal/100g and 34.6g fat!)
Went to the gym as planned Friday and again today, very happy with progress especialy as another member told me I was so fast (!) I was able to give her a tutorial on the rowing machine, hopefully it will help her enjoy the gym a bit more as she's a newbie.
Very windy here today, Harry is enjoying his walks and does not seem to mind wind or rain, I am getting so much general moving around excersize with him, really I should be 10st by Christmas:rotfl:"doing the best you enjoy, not the best you can tolerate, is truly the best you can do sustainably."0 -
Count me in Ragz - currently 10st 8lb. I know i said by Diwali but that's too soon i think as this is the dreaded last 10ish pounds i'd like to lose
Oh and thanks for coordinating this for us all!0 -
Just to add
Breakfast - coffee and a banana (140 calories)
Snack - Digestive biscuit (61 calories), tea (15) x2, hot cho (instant with dash of skim milk, 140cal)
Lunch - HM peppers and onion quiche made with suet pastry (3 pieces, total 525 calories)
Dinner - Pie (roast pork, potatoes, suet pastry) with carrots and gravy. (600 calories)
Total around 1350 - Will be swimming tonight and burning over 600 calories so I should really eat more... maybe I'll treat myself to a bar of chocolate or glass of wine or something. According to MyFitnessPal I need 1670 calories to lose 1lb a week, around 1420 to lose 1.5 and around 1200 to lose 2lb a week.
LazyLiz Well done on the Gym efforts (and for helping the newbie, Gyms can be very intimidating)
TheDragon 2lbs will stay then! I'm hypothyroid too, luckily don't seem to have too much trouble with my weight with it, but I was only diagnosed by accident, I take pills for it but don't really know whether they do anything!
Christmas Challenge Thanks everyone who's joining in the challenge, it will keep me on track and hopefully the rest of you too! Stop me getting bored lol. I will repost the Post with everyone's updated info every week so it doesn't get lost, I know we all have different WI days (I need to pick one, I weigh every day but I need to decide on one day to keep track from, guess Monday would be good, stop me overeating at the weekend!) so I'll update as and when I see losses.
If you are doing the challenge and have a loss to add, maybe highlight it in your post so I pick up on it.
