I've lost a lb this week which I'm a bit disappointed about that, but it's better than nothing I guess. However, we're off out for late breakfast and then we're at a party tonight with a buffet, so I'm going to have to be very restrained!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

So far so good this week, I've got about 1 stone to lose and it's coming off REALLY slowly, so my target it to hit 9st13 by my birthday in december.
I try to maintain my weight over the weekend, I'm in the process of quitting drinking (one night a week is plenty for me!) which i think will help.
I struggle to eat salads on the weekend, work is fine and i'm in that routine, but at home i just think of all the other tastier foods i could be eating instead!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Evening All,
We've had a really busy day, installing a new (to us - antique pine) computer desk for DH, moving furniture around and taking several items over to step daughters in order to declutter further.
B: Stewed apple and raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
S: Tsp of peanut butter
L: Poached egg on toast. Iced raspberry smoothie. We called in at a carvery on the way home so had Honey roast gammon, cabbage, green beans, peas, carrots and cauliflower. Followed by a mini mars bar.
I did some baking for when DS and family come round for their weekly Sunday meal tomorrow and have invented a chocolate mars bar biscuit cake which seems very sticky and highly calorific. If it stays very sticky it may need to be served with icecream and eaten with a spoon. I can see it is going to be very hard to resist - I've already scraped the bowl out!
Exercise: 2 10 minute sections with my stability ball DVD - cardio and core. I also jogged to the post box and back. It's only the end of the street so not very far but I ran both ways without stopping.

Morning everybody. Oooh Rose that Mars bar cake you have devised sounds yummy!! But I won't ask for your recipe!!!
I stuck well to plan yesterday (apart from a sneaked fig biscuit which I don't even like!). I am determined this week to lose something - even if it's only a pound! Today's menu:
B - Poached egg on a toasted Thins, with some grilled tomatoes and thin ham.
L - Chicken with LF cauli cheese, new potatoes & garden peas. Strawberries, SF jelly and FF vanilla yogurt.
D - Tuna salad with a few left over new potatoes (sliced, sprayed with One-Cal and crisped up under the grill) WW fromage frais with mixed berries.
S - Grapes, satsumas, nectarine.
Lots of blue sky around at the moment so hoping it stays fine to get some much needed gardening done. That will be my exercise for today! Have a good day all."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
I think i ate too much yesterday - i didn't eat a meal as such, i just grazed all day. I also drank full fat lemonade which was not so great. But OH has gone off it and i don't want it to go to waste!
Today,
B/L - some form of fry up i think
D - Roast pots, veg, gravy and stuffing (not really in the mood for lamb, so may give the meat a miss)
Need to think about lunches for the week ahead, I've got some fresh veg but not a great amount - a soup may be the best thing to make.Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Evening All,
I am really cross with myself as it was weigh in day today and not only have I not lost the lb I put on last week I have put on another 2!!!! I know why - too many little treats slipping in and letting my calorie count creep upwards. It is so silly as 2 weeks ago the scales read 8st 12lb and now they read 9st 2lb. If I'd lost a pound each week instead I could now be 8st 10lb. Oh well - I just need to start being strict again and not kid myself that the extra bits and pieces don't really matter. I've cut up and frozen the left over Mars bar cake so I can't trim off any untidy edges when I am getting something out of the fridge.
B: Kiwi fruit
L: Prawn salad wrap. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
S: Shared a small ice cream with DGD.Grilled haddock in breadcrumbs, green beans and sweetcorn. Small piece of Mars bar cake.
Exercise: 10 minute cardio routine with stability ball DVD. Walk to icecream shop with DGD and DH. 5 mile walk this evening with friend and her dog.
Hope everyone else has had a successful weekend and not succumbed to too many treats.

Not a great day as we went to a pizza restaurant for lunch
B - missed, was on the road at 7am
L - lasagne, side salad
T - biscuit
D - spoonful pasta twists in red pesto, salad.
Snax - slice pineapple, mini cornetto, banana
Exercise - walked round DM's town for best part of an hour getting all her shopping
Back to normal tomorrow, whatever that is!0 -
I'm afraid I was a succumber to treats yesterday Rose. Sitting in the garden in the afternoon I was overcome by longing for a Cornetto (I always keep some in the freezer for the DGDs) and before I knew it I had one in my hand. (But ooh I did enjoy it!) Then in the evening I was tempted by a glass of wine which ended up as three, accompanied by a bag of crisps. Other than all that I stuck to my meal plan!
Needless to say, this morning I am full of remorse and vowing to be stricter with myself today! Today's menu:
B - Scrambled egg on 2 Nimble toasts, grilled tomatoes and slice of thin ham.
L - HM Tomato & Basil soup, a Thins ham sarnie & salad. Strawberries & LF choc mousse.
D - Cold left over chicken & salad with pasta in LF sauce. Meringue nest with mixed berries & FF vanilla yogurt.
S - Grapes, satsumas & nectarine
Enjoy today everybody, the rain is back with us tomorrow!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
