So Im struggling this week but then again I knew I would as it is that "time". It seems to impact on my weight afterwards not before and I have noticed that happening many times.
Still I will continue to plod on as we all do and send everyone encouragement on their weight loss journey xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Morning all. What a miserable morning we have up here with the cloud and drizzle. I have been good at sticking to my eating plan this week, but not good at avoiding the glasses of wine each evening! Perhaps this week I should not buy any when I go food shopping, as it seems I cannot be trusted! (Yes I was at the bottle again last night!) Oh well onwards I go:
B - Porridge with raspberries
L - HM Red Pepper Soup with Thins ham sarnie & some salad. Mini banana with FF vanilla yogurt.
D - Steamed smoked haddock with HM wedges & more salad. SF jelly, mixed berries & WW fromage frais.
S - The usual grapes, satsuma and nectarine.
I go on holiday in 7 weeks and I really am going to have to try hard to lose the remaining 5 lbs before then (but more would be better!) to be sure of fitting comfortably into my holiday clothes. Have a good day all."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
Morning all
Heading out for after-work shopping and dinner with a friend tonight, but will try and choose something semi-virtuous - we're probably going to Giraffe and they have amazing salads, so I'm sure I'll find something yummy to have
Was planning a v low cal day to make up for it, but went to make sandwich this morning and found DH had used all the bread for his breakfast  I was only going to use 1 slice, and I'm sure there were 4 left yesterday morningI was so annoyed with him (as we had frozen bread he could have toasted!) that I then forgot to pick up the rest of my lunch, so have no fruit for snacks today. I'll have to go to the works canteen for my lunch and try to avoid the baguettes and crisps.
Breakfast: Granola bar
Lunch: probably a sandwich/roll of some sort, some fruit if I can snag any from the free fruit bowl in our tea room. NO CRISPS!
Dinner: something healthy-ish depending on the menu
Drinks: SF squash, tea with skim milk
Exercise: walking round MK shopping centre, I'm always knackered by the time my friend and I finish shopping :rotfl:Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Morning all.
Weigh day today - a day early as I got a new set of scales yesterday and wanted to check they worked - and I seem to have put on 1lb.I've been wracking my brains trying to work out where I've gone wrong and I'm now wondering if different scales give a slightly different reading. Does anyone think that's likely or am I just making excuses?
Anyway, today goes:
B - two slices seedy toast (one small, one large - darn round loaves!), with a tsp of apricot jam on each
L - WM pitta with sliced boiled egg (well, most of a boiled egg - it was one of those awkward ones which refused to peel ) and sliced tomato; bunch of grapes
S - nectarine
D - [STRIKE]TBC, but it will involve mozzarella as it's 2 days after its BB date and needs to be eaten ASAP[/STRIKE] lentil, carrot and mozzarella salad - this recipe with mozzarella rather than feta (and probably without the honey as I haven't got enough of a sweet tooth for that to appeal to me).
Exercise - possibly a walk at lunchtime or this evening, if the rain stops its attempts to drown Portsmouth entirely.
Have a good day, all.Back after a very long break!0 -
Weigh day here too, everyone seems to be stuggling today and I feel almost guilty, lost another lb so now 10st 12.6lb. I'll just celebrate quietly
Hurray :shhh:
B - boiled egg & no butter on my soldiers (that's like going commando!!!)
L - 3 crispbreads with little cheeses
D - pasta twists with red pesto, lettuce and tomato, which is all the salad stuff I have left.
Snacks - satsumas, apples (which is all the fruit I have left), mini cornetto
Exercise - I promised myself that when it's a rainy day I'll get the little bedroom sorted. Today's definitely the day, if I'm not back tomorrow you'll know I'm lost under a pile of glory room rubbish0 -
Morning all. Don't feel guilty about losing the pound sparrer, just 'cos the rest of us are struggling. Well done! I have been stuck at 9st 5 lbs for weeks, just as I was stuck at 10st for long enough before the weight started moving again. Well the good news is I managed to avoid the wine last night, but the bad news is I succumbed to a large Cornetto in the afternoon whilst sat reading in the garden! Other than that I stuck to my eating plan! Weigh day tomorrow and it's not boding well for any loss I'm afraid. Today's eats:
B - Porridge with raspberries
L - HM soup with a Thins tuna salad sarnie. Any left over fruit cut up (scraping the barrel as shopping day today!) & topped with FF vanilla yogurt
D - Chilli & HM wedges with salad. Stewed plums & LF fromage frais.
S - Grapes, satsuma and nectarine.
Any exercise today will involve cleaning the house this morning and walking the aisles of Aldi and Asda or Sainsbury's this afternoon (avoiding the wine aisle!!!!) Have a good day all."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0
