Not the best day I've ever had food-wise, seem to have lost my appetite
B & L - missed
Snack - 2 shortbread biscuits
D - bowl of curried chicken and lentil soup
Snack - sliver lemon tart, scoop lf ice cream
Supper - bowl soup as above
Snack - banana
Exercise - very little, just climbed up and down my ladder several times taking down nets for washing, and bubble wrapping windows0 -
Morning all - my count yesterday was up a bit - nearer 1,200 cals - but happy enough with that, even though it's the top end of my daily calorie count.
Eats were as follows:
B - Porridge with raspberries
L - Toasted thin, topped with tinned cherry tomatoes & sprinkle of LF cheese. Salad. SF jelly, strawberries & FF vanilla yogurt.
D - LF cheesy pasta, thin ham & salad. 2 slices Nimble. Sliced banana with WW fromage frais.
S - Nectarine, few grapes, satsuma. Glass of wine (which took me up to top calorie limit and I really should have refrained!)
Meeting some rellies tonight for a carvery and hoping to stick to just turkey and lots and lots of veg. Trouble is it will be the wine that does more damage!! Have a good day all."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
Morning all
had a mini disaster with my muttar paneer curry last night, the recipe called for single cream or full fat greek yoghurt but I substituted it with ff fromage frais, which promptly splittasted nice still, but not aesthetically pleasing!
DH and I decided that we'd have preferred the paneer just added to the squash and spinach curry, so I'll do that next time rather than making 2 dishes!
Today's meals:
breakfast: Granola bar
lunch: leftover veggie curry and rice, pear, apple, clementine
dinner: nando's marinated grilled chicken, roasted peppers and courgette, herby yoghurt in 2 WW wm pittas.
must go to supermarket tonight, as we're out of fruit and my mint and coriander plants in the garden have died off. If I can get some homous, I'll make extra roasted veg and have it in a pitta for lunch tomorrow, yum!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Morning all.
Like sparrer, my appetite went MIA yesterday, which is never a good thing: I know I have to eat something or I'm likely to collapse, so I end up tempting myself with whatever I fancy, which nearly always involves large quantities of melted cheese.
Today goes:
B - ciabatta roll with a scraping of butter and peanut butter
S - nectarine
L - ciabatta roll with sliced turkey and tomato
S - pear
D - not quite sure yet - possibly a breaded Quorn fillet with veg stirfry and noodles, but it could well change if my appetite's still not there (it won't involve melted cheese, though!)
Exercise - my usual lunchtime walk.
Have a good day, all.Back after a very long break!0 -
Hi,
A busy day again today with work from 12 till 5.
B: Poached egg on toast.
S: Iced raspberry smoothie
L: Prawn salad wrap. HG strawberries.Vegetable bake - with aubergine, butternut squash, pepper, mushroom and green beans and topped with cheese and oat bran. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
Exercise: 30 minutes of DVD. 5 mile walk this morning. I tried using some ankle weights that I found in a charity shop the other day which should have given me a boost. Walk to work and back so another one and a half miles.

B - 2 slices wm bread with marmalade
L - Bowl chicken & lentil soup
Snack - Grapes, pear
Dinner - Bowl chicken & lentil soup, scoop ice cream
Snack - Slice melon
Exercise - more climbing up the step ladder to hang the nets after i washed and ironed them0 -
Morning all, I won't bother listing yesterday's menu 'cos it went to pot as soon as I got to the carvery! My plate was laden with everything and I had glass after glass of wine. I'd still be in bed but for the fact I am expecting the 3 DGDs any time to look after for the day. I hope they are good (ha ha some hope!) as I am feeling decidedly fragile! I shall do my utmost to keep within my calorie allowance today and tomorrow in readiness for Saturday's weigh-in.

Where'd everybody go? Must be making the most of the hols before term starts again.
Weigh day today, 1.4lb lost. Don't know quite how as I've had cheeses, bread, antipasto etc this week. Today I reckon I've put it all back on already and it's not even dinner time
B - 2 slices wm toast with spread and a scrape of marmalade
Snack - 2  cream doughnuts. Thank you lovely friend who came for coffee and forced them down my throat  - nonchalant whistle...
L - 2 boiled eggs, slice of wm soldiers. Nectarine
D - will be a bowl of chicken and lentil soup
Snack - satsuma, pear, melon
Exercise - none, lungs playing up so nothing strenuous today. Will make up for it tomorrow though
Hope you feel better soon TA.
EAT! CCP(I'm a fine one to talk, when I'm not hungry nothing will make me eat)
Love mutter paneer Little Moog, if it splits again send it over, I won't mind
Ankle weights? You make me exhausted just thinking about them Rose. good for you though for the effort0 -
Evening all.
A late post from me today as I've been running round like a fly with blue bottom- so much for my day off!
I stepped on the scales this morning and I've lost over 1kg (1.2kg, to be precise) since last week - having no appetite does have its positive side!
My day today has been a bit weird as I'm still not really hungry, although I promise I'm trying my best, sparrer.
Breakfast / brunch - four slices of streaky bacon on 2 slices HM white bread with a bit of butter; apple
Dinner - mini cheese and bacon quiche (a yellow sticky one I picked up yesterday :money:) with lettuce, tomato and olive salad; nectarine
Exercise - lots of lifting and shifting taking stuff to the tip, 25 minutes or so walking to and from the hairdresser this afternoon, and a walk to the pub tonight which is about 25 minutes each way. (Doubtless I'll have a few ciders while I'm there, after all that running around.)
I hope everyone's had a very pleasant, well-behaved day today.Back after a very long break!0 -
Evening All.
Another busy day which has included a trip to the hairdressers, lunch out with DH, various trips to PO etc and now babysitting DGD.
B: Fat free vanilla yoghurt with oat bran.
L: Egg, chips and Coke. Ice creamPrawn salad wrap. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.
Exercise: 5 of the 7 circuits on my DVD (didn't get up in time to do them all before the hairdressers). Short walks backwards and forwards to cafe, PO, DGD's but no more than 2 miles in total.
The ankle weights were quite big and bulky Sparrer but I wore them under my jeans so they didn't show. I didn't have any trouble walking with them but one of them has rubbed and caused a blister just above my heel. I wasn't wearing socks so might try again with socks once they have healed up.
