CCP - well done on your weight loss:T:T:T
I have also lost a pound this week but as I am going away for a couple of nights I am thinking it will return:eek::eek::eek: It has been a hard pound to lose and I dont think I have seen the back of it yet:(I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Morning, well done the losers! How I envy you who lose your appetites now and then - it's something I never do, unfortunately, no matter what!
It was a hectic 12 hour day with the DGD's yesterday (and one stayed over!) - it left me exhausted and was good exercise I'm sureas I never stopped! Nonetheless I managed to stick to my eating plan and ended the day at under 1,000 cals. Now if I can do the same today (despite the imminent arrival of the 3 DGD again!) I shall be pleased with myself. Yesterday's menu:
B - Porridge with rasps.
L - Toasted Thin piled with tinned cherry tomatoes & sprinkle of LF cheese. Salad. SF jelly, Banana & WW fromage frais.
D - Prawns, thin ham, LF cheesy pasta & salad. LF chocolate mousse & raspberries.
S - 3 crackerbreads with LF Laughing Cow & a bag of Cheese Curls.
Have a good day all and keep up the good work you losers! Have a good 2 days away Molly. I am not tempted by the ankle weights Rose they sound like implements of torture!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
Still not shifting any weight! Eating 3 meals a day, not really snacking except for fruit! but i shall persevere. Today's menu
Porridge
Grapes and low fag Yoghurt
Corned beef roll (could do better here!)
Dinner - i am going out, so no idea yet, but will probably go for a veggie option.
Well done to those who are losing!Annual Grocery Budget £364.00/£1500

Afternoon, all, from a rather headachey CCP - it's not really wise to drink several pints of cider when you haven't been eating properly.
Today's meals:
Brunch - bacon, turkey and tomato sandwich; pack of dried fruit
Snack - stewed plums with LF fruit yoghurt
Dinner - probably RM pizza - I'm feeling unsurprisingly lazy today
Exercise - walk up to the shops in a bit, then some gardening.
Have a good day, all, and very well done on your loss molly[/I]. :TBack after a very long break!0 -
Naughty day, but nice
B - Wm toast with scrape of spread and marmalade
L - carvery with beef, turkey, 2 roasties, a yorkie, stuffing, cauli cheese, diced swede
D - far too full to think of food
Snacks - pear, nectarine, banana
Sleep well0 -
Morning all. Well today is weigh day and I have lost the princely total of one pound. After all that weighing and calorie counting - I despair! Apart from a lapse on BH Monday and on Wednesday at the carvery, I have kept to below 1,200 cals each day, so what's gone wrong?!! I really am beginning to lose hope and feel a pig-out coming on today!
Because of all the childminding (what happened to a leisurely retirement??!!) this week I have a backlog of jobs to tackle today, before they descend again late afternoon for the sleepover, so that will be good exercise for me - including a dash round Aldi and Asda (or maybe Sainsburys - decisions, decisions!!). Once they have gone home tomorrow lunchtime we are setting off for a few days of well deserved rest at the caravan, returning for the next minding session on Friday.
Yesterdays eats:
B - Porridge & raspberries
L - HM Soup & Thins sarnie (tuna and salad), bag cheese curls, LF choc mousse.
D - Smoked haddock, few potatoes, salad, slice Nimble. SF jelly, sliced mini banana & FF yogurt.
S - Special K bar & tiny bag WW coated raisins.
Have a good weekend everyone."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
Evening All.
I've eaten quite a bit more than usual today and had less exercise! Not the best way to prepare for tomorrow's weigh in. I decided to have a lie in this morning and finish my library book but got thwarted when a friend arrived for coffee unexpectedly bearing a bag of fudge!
B: Banana
S: Fudge- about 4 pieces
L: 2 ryvitas with cream cheese with herbs and garlic and HG cherry tomatoes. Piece of bread and butter with slice of home cooked gammon. 3 more pieces of fudge!
S: Piece of HM flapjack plus scrapings of the bowl when I was cooking.Lambs liver, new potatoes (earthed up from our potato bags 10 minutes before cooking them!) with butter, creamed spinach, green beans, mushrooms.
Exercise: Very short walk up to the library and PO.

HI all, I'm back! Camping holiday and general summer holiday extravagances have brought my weight back up to 12stone4lb
so I am back with a plan! Have started calorie counting (mainly because I have a new phone and have an app to do it on!) which is something I always said I wouldn't do as I think weight loss should be about eating better in general but I feel I am not honest enough with myself about the QUANTITY of food I eat, even if it is all pretty wholesome. So according to my new toy (Myfitnesspal app, online too) my target of 1lb loss a week means no more than 1680kcal a day. Which is quite a lot. Have managed to be under for the last 3 days, knowing I have to add foods to my diary makes me think twice about eating them and as I always have my phone on me there's no excuse.
Had taken rather a long break from the running, amazing how quickly fitness goes... I went for a run with a friend a week ago and really struggled so I am back on track with that now too, two runs and a 50 lengths of the pool in the last 3 days and determined to keep it up, if only to allow enough calories for the odd glass of wine!
Hope you're all doing well and I shall try to catch up as much as I can.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Welcome back ragz
Missed posting yesterday as I was bad (as in naughty) again. Sigh...
Breakfast - 1 1/2 rolls with spread & marmalade
Lunch - last of the chicken & lentil cass/soup (watered down as it was way too thick to be called soup)
Tea - cheeses, antipasto, 2 slices wm bread
Snacks - 3 French toasts with vegemite, pear, nectarine, 2 satsumas
Today will be
B - missed, up late and just going out
L - salad with hb egg
D - tba, depends what time I get back from my usual Sunday lunchtime meeting with friends
Snacks - tba but no doubt fruit
Have a good Sunday0 -
Morning all.
I didn't have a great day yesterday food-wise - we had a family meet-up and ended up eating out for both lunch and dinner, and having a few drinks as well. We did a fair amount of walking but it was mostly at mooch pace so I'm not sure that really counts.
Today should be better but possibly not on the exercise front as the rain's coming down so hard my garden is vanishing under water.
B - none - I got up late and was still full of creamy pasta from last night's dinner(which was lovely, but so rich).
L - 2 hard boiled eggs with HM bread and butter; pear
S - if needed - portion of dried fruit
D - venison casserole with potato gnocchi, cabbage and carrots
Then possibly a couple of pints of cider at the weekly pub quiz tonight, although if it's still pouring with rain I might chicken out of that one!
Have a good day, all.Back after a very long break!0
