Afternoon all,
Been out with DH for lunch today for a carvery but I was very good and didn't have any Yorkshire puddings, stuffing or roast potatoes. Should help make up for the 2 pieces of homemade flapjack I succumbed to yesterday evening. I filled my plate with vegetables and am really full now so won't need much tea, which is good as I can then have an icecream when we go and see Harry Potter later this afternoon.
B: Raspberries with natural yoghurt.
L: Roast Gammon with peas, sweetcorn, beans, carrots and cauliflower cheese.
S: Icecream of some sort at the cinema
T: Not sure how hungry I will be yet.
Exercise: I did my Jillian Michaels 6 week 6 pack DVD this morning on Level 2. I shall walk to the cinema this afternoon and am then planning a walk with my dog walking friend afterwards so maybe about 5 or 6 miles in total.

Hi All,
I haven't been here for a while but I could really do with some support (here's hoping)
I weighed in this morning at 13st 1lb which has actually inspired me a little as I was 13st6lbs last week. I've implemented a serious walking routine which seems to be having the desired effect. I've also made a huge effort to cut out snacks as it seems to have a bad effect on me-making me want to eat even more. I'm eating seriously old-style for the sake of our budget and our food plans are pretty repetitive so if I do manage to post regularly then I hope you won't all get too bored reading the same menus over & over.
So food for today is:-
B. Oats, sultanas & sk milk
L. Leftover steamed veggies (french & broad beans, mushrooms & onions) with salad cream/mayo.
D. H/M meatloaf, mashed potato, cabbage, carrots and gravy (run out of granules so will also be h/m-hope it works ok!)
P. H/M yogurt with H/M rhubarb & ginger jam.
Drinks:- Redbush tea with sk milk & water.
I haven't worked out the calories in the meatloaf yet but I'll cut it into eight pieces so hopefully won't be too bad.
Wish me luck everyone, reading the thread has inspired me to get back on track and I think I'm going to dig out my Paul McKenna book & disc too. I'm expecting this journey to take around a year  to complete so I'm going to need lots of support!
Good luck to all of you and well done on the losses recorded above.

A busy day, don't know how I ever had time to earn someone elses living for them
However I fitted in a few meal/snack times, of course
Up at 8am, breakfast of chopped banana in plain ff yogurt, small bowl F&F
L - Cheese & tomato sandwich on wm, no spread
D - Mushroom & tomato omelette
Snax - Nectarine, apricot, 2 plums, banana
Exercise - all morning gardening, and cleaned off (scrubbed ) the bench table
Should add drinks in which I never do, but they consist solely of gallons tea with sk milk and green tea with no milk, or a very rare black coffee.0 -

Hi All,
Worked out cals in meatloaf, only 200 for an 1/8 and it was very tasty! Gravy wasn't too bad either. DH away tonight so not sure what I'll have then but for the rest of the day it'll be usual
B. Oats, sultanas sk. milk
L. Egg, lettuce tomato & mayo sandwich, apple.
D. unknown as yet
P. Yogurt & jam.
Drinks. Water & redbush.
Already done 2.5 miles with one of the dogs. Usually do around 4 but I'm off work with conjunctivitis at present and feeling bit run down.
Good Luck everyone, have a fab & low calorie day!

Morning all
yesterday's pub lunch was reasonably healthy, until they brought out the dessert - chocolate truffle torte  seemed rude not to eat it as I had ordered it (about 2 months ago, hence not remembering what I'd picked!) :rotfl: oh well, rest of my meals weren't too bad yesterday, so hopefullly won't be too bad.
today's meals:
breakfast: melon, 2 greengages
lunch: wrap with 1tbsp chunky homous and abig handful of rocket, pear, orange
dinner: grilled chicken and harissa roasted veggies in 2 wraps with FF fromage frais and herbs.
drinks: litres of no-added-sugar squash, plus 2 or 3 cups of tea with skimmed milk.
exercise: nothing formal, but house is a tip, so will do an hour of tidying when I get home tonight, hopefully will distract me from snacking until DH gets home.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Have a good day, all, and I hope you feel better soon PJ1.Back after a very long break!0 -
Good morning all,
PJ1- Hi and welcom back! Do indeed dig out your PM book- it's sooooo easy and is really working, I've yet to have a choc bar which is unusual for me being a chocoholic. If you want a diet buddy let me know- I've a little bit more than you too lose at 13st 13 but I too anticipate it taking a year at least.
I don't think I posted yesterday but I did read all of your posts. Had a carp day yesterday- foodwise not too bad I followed PM 4 golden rules! But I hardly moved at all- I have ummmm women's issues that are causing me to be pretty much incapacitated at the moment so didn't attempt to exercise or leave the house yesterday and took things very slowly. However really craving the junk so had a BBQ for lunch and bought a chick curry from chinese which was disgusting so didn't eat more than a few mouthfuls- waste of £7.00Also had a choc brownie and a fairy cake
so not a healthy day for me.....
Today for food I'm going to try and be healther:
Breakfast: 2 x slices seeded bread, butter, baked beans
Lunhc: HM Soup, slice of bread and butter, satsumas
Dinner: chicken breast stuffed with sage & onion stuffing, roast pots, various veggie, gravy
Pudding: treacle sponge & custard
Drinks: Tea, at least 2 ltrs of water
Exercise: will try my kettlebell bootcamp DVD again- it's 1hr of hellish torture followed by at least 3 days of being unable to move!
Hope you all have a fantastic day

Morning all, welcome to PJ1, you will get lots of support here and practical help, your meatloaf sounds good, can you share the recipe?
bramble1 we know you can do it, you know you can do it....so just do it OK?:) ( will this do a a kick up the bum?)
need some real inspiration myself, I don't want to stay this way (15st:eek:) I don't look good, I don't feel great and I know its bad for my health. And yet at present I can't get going. I think I must concetate on getting well, I have never been ill for so long before with a cold/chest infection and although it has nearly all gone its getting me down. Mind you the posts on here always make me smile, so thanks guys"doing the best you enjoy, not the best you can tolerate, is truly the best you can do sustainably."0
