Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
empy I've got the old one with one cd but will have to search it out tonight for my bedtime reading

Disgusted to say I weighed this morning and have crept back over the st mark, to 11st 0.8lb :(. Could blame all the meals out while DM was here but I lost on holiday so not much of an excuse. I will say though that the ships portions were a lot smaller, while pub lunches pile on the potatoes, chips etc. I know, I know...I didn't have to eat it all (but was brought up to clear my plate :p)

So back to Strictly Come Dieting for me..

    B - 1/2 grapefruit, F&F, sk milk
L - mushroom and 2 bacon rashers (meat part only) omelette made with 2 small eggs, grilled tomato. 2 apricots, 2 plums cut up into plain yogurt
T - Grilled bacon and tomato sandwich on 2 slices wm. Slice pineapple with plain yogurt
    Snacks - Slice melon, banana

DB sent me a luxury box of M&S chocs for my birthday, just given them to my neighbour :A. That hurt!
  • Morning all - hanging my head in shame this morning! I did someone a good turn this week and yesterday they gave me a bottle of wine and box of Thorntons Moments as a thank you. Oh why didn't they just give me a bunch of flowers?! I sat last night and guzzled the whole box of chocolates - and then felt sick! Avarice is not a very nice trait to have! Will try to be extra good for a few days to compensate!!

We are off over to our caravan first thing this morning, until Wednesday teatime, taking the 2 youngest DGDs with us, so I may find it hard to stick to plan but will really, really do my best! I have packed my usual healthy supplies alongside theirs and DHs. Today's menu:

    B - Porridge with raspberries
L - HM soup, 5 crackerbreads with Laughing Cow lite & bowl of salad. WW fromage frais & berries
D - Grilled tuna steaK, salad & HM wedges. SF jelly, strawberries & FF vanilla yogurt.
    S - Grapes, satsumas & nectarine

See you all Thursday and try to be good!

    Good morning all.

I thought I'd been fairly good over the weekend while my sister was visiting but I stepped on the scales this morning and I seem to have put on best part of 2lb. :( I really hope that's wrong...

    Today goes:

B - chopped banana and nectarine with LF raspberry yoghurt
S - portion of almonds and raisins
L - a sandwich of some kind (I have to buy one - very un-OS of me, I know :o) and some fruit juice
    S - fresh plums
D - lentil and tomato salad with grilled halloumi

Exercise - my usual lunch-time walk

Have a good day, all, and very well done to all losers. :T
Back after a very long break!

Good morning- finally woke up to a bit of a brighter morning :) so on to day 4 of PM and it's going fab- I didn't have the toad n hole dinner planned for yesterday, had a little chef olympic brekkie instead :) It's sooooo liberating to be able to eat what I want! Did not do any exercise yesterday as I could not move from the neck down after doing the kettlebell video on Saturday. I'm going to try and do an exercise vid this morning and hopefully that will loosen up some of my poor aching muscles!
For my eats today I'm having:

    Breakfast: Porridge, vanilla mullerlight yog
Lunch: 2 x slices seeded bread and baked beans
Dinner: Toad n Hole, roast pots and veggies
    Pudding: Eton mess :)
    Snacks: Various fruit

Oh forgot to say,as a sign of how effective PM is I had the option of having choc cake with cream poured over it and instead choose meriangues(SP?) rasberries, strawberries and squirty cream- I was a complete chocoholic and used to eat several bars of chocolate a day- PM you rock :)

    Have a wonderful day everyone

    Morning all :)
bad weekend foodwise, but a lovely celebration of our friends' engagement, so no regrets there :D some regrets over the hangover I had on sunday though :o which necessitated eating a lot of junk to make it go away!

    Today's meals:
breakfast: nature valley bar (running v late this morning)
lunch: salad from the work canteen - normally consists of 1 carb base, 4 types of salads and some sort of protein, will have to see what's available when I go over!
Dinner: chicken marinated in nando's sauce, new pots and veggies
    Little monkey born November 2012:j
    Froglet due March 2016 :D

    Morning All,

I've been very organized this morning and have already been out shopping, picked and stewed some rhubarb for breakfast, done my exercise DVD and written a letter. Now I need to get ready for work and make my packed lunch.

B: Stewed rhubarb with natural yoghurt
L: Chicken salad wrap. 2 pineapple rings.
D: Cauliflower cheese (left over from yesterday). Raspberries with Greek yoghurt.

Exercise: 15 minutes of my DVD, walks to town and to work and back so about 2 and a half miles in total.

  • Good morning all,

Well done to everyone for sticking with it or if not, getting back on!

Question: Has anyone's PMS increased after losing weight? I never ever had any kind of PMS when i was 13st. I'm currently at 10st 9 and have experienced a growing bout of PMS each month. I am now like a monster each month! I thought PMS was supposed to decrease once you atarted eating healthy and exercising etc?

I did think it might be something to do with my age (31) but none of my friends, older or younger, have really noticed such a change!

    Anyone else experiencing this?
