    morning all :)
weighed in this morning, and I've lost a lb! :j was expecting to STS at best this week, so I'm very pleased with that. I have been very disciplined with my planned meals, but slipping up with snacking while waiting for DH to come home from work. :o According to foodfocus, I should be losing 2lb a week, based on the number of calories I'm trying to stick to, so I want to get that into action. more exercise, less random snacking .

Onwards and upwards for next week, we're going to an engagement party tomorrow, so I expect food/drinks will not be good, but it's a party, so will be relaxed about it, and extra disciplined all week.

    today's meals:
    breakfast: nature valley bar
lunch: tin soup (yesterdays, whcih I had actually left at home, so went to work shop and got a salad and NO CRISPS :j!), warburton's thin, pear, orange
dinner: homemade pizzas, topped with HM tomato sauce, 1/2 ball of value mozarella, veggies and chicken (mmmm!) .

exercise: maybe a walk at lunch, although it's looking very dark out my office window atm!

I also have to bake a cake for the party tomorrow, not sure I'll be able to resist licking out the bowls :o

170.8 today, I'm declaring that as my end of month as I'll be camping for the next 3 days. That means I'm 12st2.8lb which means I've manged my below 12st3lb target. Only lost 1.5lb odd this month but I haven't really tried, with all the birthdays.
Aim to be under 12 stone by the end of August. That includes my birthday, several others and a week's camping, so we shall see...

Was so busy packing up the car yesterday that I had NO snacks, just toast for breakfast (my HM bread is Really filling), then a WW frozen lasagne for lunch, with a few scavenged chips and HM chicken soup with half a garlic baguette (250 cal and 15g of fat for 4 slices of garlic bread!).

Littlemoog well done on the lb off!
TA The kids leftovers are a killer! It's chips with me, I can't throw out a plate of chips, especially if there's also some LO ketchup to dip them in...

    Hi, Can I join you,

I always post on the daily but it would be great if I could post here and hopefully it will help me get to target. My goal is my son's wedding in Australia next Dec but I really hope to be at target before then. Need to lose around 3 stone. I am following WW from home as no pennies for the meeting but I have all the stuff I need.
I started yesterday, starting weight 13st 5:eek: eek but had a great day yesterday so it can only get better.
    todays meals:

    B 4 crackerbreads with jam
    L Ryvita Houmus and salad
D chicken salad and SF jelly and yoghurt
    snacks, fruit throughout the day

Excercise, 45 minute walk after tea.

    Wish me luck J x

    Good morning, welcome Julie67.

Well done everyone who has lost weight and those who haven't don't lose hope draw a line and start again .Well yesterday was an appalling day for me- KFC, fish & chips, cakes, choccie-
I guess I really needed carbs :( but today is a new day and I've drawn a line under yesterday!

I'm really hoping to lose about 10 lbs before I go back to school in Sept. I ordered the Paul Mckenna Book, Cd and DVD from amazon yesterday and that's due to be delivered this morning. I'm still going to be doing old style food but with Mr Mckenna addressing my biggest problem of emotional eating- I eat when I'm stressed, when I'm sad not good for the scales so hopefully a bit of mind tuning will help! Will keep you all posted as the weeks go on- its a 90 day course- eek!

so my food for today is:
    B: 2 x crumpets and essential coffee
L: some granary bread that needs using up with boiled eggs
D: hopefully the stuffed chicken breasts and veggies and roasties that I've been saying all week I'm going to cook!

    Have a fab day

    Morning all.

Weekly weigh day today on my shiny new scales (my old, broken set were replaced with no quibbles :T) and I've lost 1.5kg this week - that's 3.3lbs! :j:j:j I'm so pleased that things are finally moving again after several weeks with no weight loss at all. :D

    Today is:

B - thick slice of HM granary bread with peanut butter and sliced banana
L - ham and RF coleslaw sarnie; portion of cherry tomatoes; handful of chilli crackers
    S - nectarine
D - not sure yet - it was meant to be the chicken I ended up not having last night but my oven is currently out of service after a major water leak this morning (finding water pouring through the ceiling and over the cooker is not a good start to the day :() so it will probably end up being a ready meal of some kind instead as my microwave is the only cooking device that didn't get soaked. :(

My weekend is likely to be a write-off as my sister is visiting, which means I will end up drinking more than I usually do and eating out two days in a row: on the plus side we'll probably do a lot of walking to work off some of the excess calories.

Have a good weekend, all. :)
Back after a very long break!

...oops sorry I should have gone to Spc'svers!

Thks for pic, have printed two copies, one to put on my fridge and the other to keep in my handbag to keep me inspired if I feel tempted from sensible eating!;)

That's ok ;) you will have to get yourself one of those acrylic keyrings and change the photo to one of the lump of fat, that will remind you.

    :D

Just take a look at it before you have anything to eat and it will probably make you feel sick, that will put you off your food!

They are a bit gross looking aren't they.

    :)

By the way I thought I would try the Dukan diet. I am on holiday in a week, not going anywhere where I would wear a bikini, just wanted to lose abut half a stone so I have room to eat like a pig when I am away! :rotfl:

Haven't felt hungry, my chocolate and sweet cravings have gone as has the muffin and crisp craving. That is a miracle in itself because some days I would eat 2 bags of crisps and lots of chocolate.

    ;)

Looking after DGD again today so just having a sit down with a coffee and half an Eccles cake whilst she has her sleep.

B: 4 pineapple rings (tinned but in own juice)
L: 2 ryvitas with peanut butter. Half an Eccles cake with a tiny skimmed milk coffee
D: At work so a packed tea. Prawn salad wrap and raspberries with natural yoghurt.

Exercise: 2 short walks so about 3 miles in all plus 20 minute exercise DVD.

    Hi all,
another lovely sunny day here in Cumbria, infact too hot to sit in the sun just now :)

The blackcurrant jam is lovely, quite tangy and not too set, sometimes blackcurrant sets really firmly so its nice that this is a bit softer.

Of to see the DP's this weekend, good food and nice wine, not good for the waist line but very enjoyable, my dad is a really good cook so looking forward to not cooking and having a good natter with mum.
