    Morning all :)

I have to confess to a major lapse yesterday, I need to find something to do in between when I get home, and when DH gets home, as I'm so tempted to [STRIKE]snack[/STRIKE] binge while I'm getting the dinner ready and waiting for him :( my brain seems to lose touch with my diet goals when I'm bored

hoping to be back on track today:
    breakfast: nature valley bar
lunch: tin carrot and coriander soup, warburton's thin, pear, orange
dinner: spaghetti with tomato sauce and a bit of bacon

exercise: swimming (again, didn't go last night as legs really sore from being in the lab all day, we don't have any chairs!)

    Morning all

Not posted for a week or so, I think I lost the plot. But I'm now more determined than ever to get the extra pounds shifted. I'v dug out my Zumba DVD's and did 20mins on Tuesday night, 5 mins Wed morning (DS started to annoy me so switched it off) then did a successfull hour last night. Started to ache today so I know its working. I'v got a week off with DS in a couple of weeks so plan to Zumba everyday as well as walking and bike riding. I'll WILL shift them pounds.

    Today:

    B - 2 slices toast
L - Salad & wafer thin turkey, berries & plain yoghurt
    S - 3 crakers
    D - Spag Bol.

Ooops, lost the plot a bit yesterday evening, felt so tired after work that I ate two scones, entirely without thinking about them then while making the jam I started boiling some rice for my tea. I got so engrossed in getting the jam to set I burnt the rice. So I had my kipper on toast with rather a lot of butter rather than in a kedgeree style thing with lots of veg as planned:o

Still I did get another third of the lawn edges cut yesterday evening, it was rather lovely being out in the late evening doing something quiet in the garden, we have had such good weather this week up to 24 degrees and lots of sun, sorry if your weather has not been so great, my collegue in Italy was telling me everyone is complaining they are having a poor summer, it was 22 and raining yesterday, this is unhead of near Florence in July.

Anyway the blackcurrant jam has set and I am giving myself permission to have a taste this afternoon as my snack.:D

Just popping to let peeps know I am still with the programme...although have been jumping on and off the waggon like a monkey lately. On the wagon today.

Had breakfast before I realised I had not weighed myself, so will pop back tomorrow with weigh-in.

    :)
Healthy eating aim per day: 3 fruits, 3 or more vegetables, 3 low-fat dairy portions, 3 starch portions, 2-3 lean protein portions.
Weekly aim: to include 2 portions of fish (one oily), some nuts, seeds, beans and pulses.

    Afternoon all.

It's lovely and sunny here today which is great. I had a Pilates class for an hour this morning but no long walk as I am babysitting my 17 month old Grand-daughter (who is currently having her afternoon nap). If I am feeling energetic I may ring my dog walking friend up when DGD has gone home and suggest an evening walk if she feels like it.

B: Skimmed milk coffee (I don't usually eat before an exercise class hence just the coffee.)
L: 2 small slices of wholemeal toast with smoked salmon pate and half a dozen cherry tomatoes. Rasberries with Greek yoghurt.
D: Baked chicken leg with creamed spinach and peas. 2 Kiwi fruit.

ETA: Went out for an icecream with DGD but then had a 7 mile walk with friend and her dog this evening which should have walked it off.

A late post as we were out to dinner, but think I managed to eat 'reasonably' sensibly - until the cornetto!

    B 2 crispbreads with marmalade
L Wm roll, small slice ham, scrape of pickle
    T Scone jam
D haddock, creamed potatoes, peas. I spoon egg custard
Snax nectarine, 3 plums, mini cornetto
  • Morning all. I despair, I have absolutely no willpower at all it seems! We had a lovely few days at our caravan with the middle DGD (2y 9m) but I couldn't resist "hoovering up" after her at every meal (I hate to see good food wasted!!) and ended up eating all sorts of daft stuff! Lunchtime picnics were the worst times as she couldn't waste the time eating, preferring to be off playing. So I found myself devouring mini sausage, party pies, crisps, cheese strings etc, whatever was left in the boxes!

I fully expect a gain at tomorrow's weigh-in so to STS would be a bonus! Back on the wagon today and will try and repair some of the week's damage! Today's menu:

    B - Porridge with raspberries
L - HM Tomato & Basil soup, 5 crackerbreads with tuna, some salad. Mixed berries with dollop of FF vanilla yogurt.
D - Chicken, more salad, HM wedges. SF jelly, strawberries & FF fromage frais.
    S - Grapes, pineapple & satsumas.
