Morning all
Haven't been on in while as haven't had easy PC access but have been sticking to the diet and exercise regime pretty well. Lost another pound last week. Am going to aim for a pound a week, slow and steady.
Had pizza for tea last night - had a couple of days where I've felt really down and thought pizza would cheer me up - it did. Only had a couple of slices, plus went to aerobics class before it so tried my best to minimise the damage.
Back on it today now though.
B - weetabix milk and banana
L - laughing cow light and cucumber sarnie on wm bread, LF crisps
D - pasta veg and tom based sauce
S - Grapes, apple, blueberries
Exercise - cross trainer tonight - 20 minutes
Well done to everyone, whether you've lost or not - we're here andtrying, and that's the main thing xxx*** PROPHECY_GRRL****** DEBT FREE AS OF 17/10/11 - I DID IT!!! ***0 -

not doing bad here but am worrying about the weekend, it my birthday and i dont want to blow it totally. shouldnt be too bad as OH is doing the great north swim on sunday so we won't be doing anything too wild on sat night.
today plan is:
2 x wm toast and cheese spread - yawn yawn
apple
last of the LO quinoa with veg and halloumi
apple
will prob have some LF soup when the kids have their tea as dinner will be late tonight
i think lemon, pea and asparagus risotto (low fat but v creamy) with a bit of gilled chicken breast maybe.
will try and do 50 lengths of the pool too
i need to be good, ive just had my lunch and am craving something sweet, dont think an apple is gonna cut it today :rotfl:
i also need to plan something for tomorrows lunch as thats one of the danger points for me. i work near a greggs, subway and an asian supermarket that does lovely hot samosas etc!!

Afternoon everyone. I finally found cheap tasty fruit and nuts mix, in Lidl. The Tesco one is 49% peanuts and I don't really like them, usually leave them in the pack and they get chucked so I was over the moon to find the Lidl Nuts and Sultanas mix is peanut free! And only 99p for 200g. But I did then eat about half the pack! Though I did only have 1 slice of toast and peanut butter for breakfast. Have also had a banana. Lunch will be soup, trying to leave it late so I can have dinner AFTER my run rather than before. Or maybe I should have dinner really early so I'm not eating too late... hmmm... (can't run until about 8pm when DH is home and kids are in bed (I would say asleep but that's optimistic at the moment!)
Dinner will be roast chicken etc

am very impressed by ur swimming vixtress! and ragz too!
bramble ur doing really well.
i mostly kept to plan except instead of pear and kiwi had a miso soup (21cals and 0.6g fat). tonight i was exhausted tho so mr pincher offered to cook but instead of stir fry he cooked 300cal pizza with wedges and salad.
saw a 400g dairy milk in home bargains today and checked how many cals it is - 2,100!! i used to happily eat 200g bar in one sitting!! i managed to resist special k bar by reminding myself that im having cashflow problems lol0 -
Totally messed up the eating yesterday, all because I didn't have a decent breakfast or lunch. Lost track but I am sure I went over, calorie wise. Did go for a run though. Today -
Breakfast - 2 slices WM toast and Jam, would have been poached eggs but I overcooked them and got so cross with myself I chucked them out (TOTM!)
Lunch - Soup and bread
Dinner - Something with left over chicken, probably with rice.
Snacks - FF yogurt, fruit and nuts.
Got 20 running mags off Freecycle yesterday so I am reading those for motivation and nutrition info. Wouldn't pay for them at over £4 a go!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

morning all
where are we all, it got really busy a few weeks ago but its been like a ghost town this week
well yesterday went ok, managed 44 lengths before the pool got stupidly busy. there were too many people in the fast lane swimming at about a quarter of a mile an hour, it gets really frustrating  ooh, i sound a real grumpy bag!
well the plan for today is:
toast (i'm starting to bore even myself now)
LO griddled chicken breast with huge salad of celery, cucumber, apple, grapes & cherry toms
not too sure about dinner, i am swimming so it will be late. might have beans on toast. have 2 corn on the cobs that need eating though so they may have to figure in somewhere??
enjoy your day xx- prior planning prevents poor performance!

The night before last I really felt hungry for the first time since starting this and was almost tempted to start chewing through the keyboard. Perhaps others have felt the same way and just given in and eaten theirs
I'm still here, trying to pack for our holiday while husband is wandering around angsting about how we're going to fit all our stuff in our weeny little car, and teenage daughter is just wandering round angsting about Life In General. All my jeans and trousers are now decidedly roomy, but the next size down is still decidedly snug. Every belt I own seems to have some kind of built-in elasticity that forces them to gravitate towards my hips, even though they start off buckled at the waist. If you catch sight of a woman in the background of you or your friends' holiday snaps who is staggering around trying to hold her jeans up or is tripping over excess length at the bottom of them then you have just spotted me :rotfl:
The way things are going, she'll probably have an odd-looking cleavage too and will be wearing no socks because she's stuffed them in her bra. Considerately mindful of the many hours of dedicated work that's gone into acquiring it, her beer belly will be tenaciously hanging on in there and doing it's best to achieve a position of prominent display. Somehow, I don't think I'll be getting away with the 'inconspicuous' look this yearFreddie Starr Ate My Signature

Hello all, can I join? I've restarted my diet/exercise regime this week, and I think I need a bit of support to keep me going! We had an event at work this week for diabetes awareness week - the 4 month waist loss challenge. Had my waist measured and it was 44" so I need to lose 12 inches to get it to their "lower risk" range. I'm also about 4 stones above the top of my healthy BMI range, and I really want to tackle this. I've set myself an intermediate challenge, in my sig, as the 4 stones is quite daunting. I'm going to measure my waist every 4 weeks and see if I achieve any inch loss over the 4 months.
So my plan is to eat as healthily as possible and I'm tracking my food intake on foodfocus, I'm keeping my lunch and breakfast calories quite constant (luckily I'm a creature of habit ), and cutting down on fat and processed carbs at dinnertime. Aiming to keep calorie intake under 1400 each day.
Today:
Breakfast: cereal (20g) and yoghurt
Lunch: soup, apple, 2 satsumas
Dinner: HM beef chilli (lots of lentils), potato wedges, veg and a dollop of reduced fat creme fraiche.
Also trying to fit in as much exercise as i can. So far this week I've been swimming (40 mins of constant lengths), and to pilates last night. Going to try out Zumba with a friend tonight too, and hoping to go for a walk at lunchtime tomorrow, and a swim after work, as it's our wedding anniversary tomorrow and DH is taking me to my fav restaurant, where I will order whatever I fancy!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160
