Put on my trousers this morning and went to work thinking these are a little loose and roomy, must have picked up the 16's by mistake though they were about falling down.... checked later and they were the 14's!! So might need new (charity shop) trousers soon :D

Yay! Watching the numbers head down the scale is always encouraging, but noticeable figure shrinkage is an even bigger cause for celebration. Well done that woman :T

CCP: I'd agree that yours is a success too - well done! Sorry I overlooked it. I skim-read bits that mention actual food sometimes because I've been known in the past to read something that someone is planning to eat and then get an insatiable taste for it even though I'm not the slightest bit hungry! It's reading things through one squinted eye like this that sometimes causes me to miss stuff, but you are definately another girl wot done good :)

Morning all. Congratulations to all the May losers! I weighed in at 9st. 10.5lbs so not very good really, must try harder this month! I had lost 4.5 lbs but after my binging I had put a pound back on, so my grand total loss for May was 3.5 lbs - half what I had hoped for!

Oh well, new month, another new start and will try to be stricter with myself. That's after I go on my girls night out tonight - carvery meal and carafes of wine! I shall, however, try to eat very little through the day to compensate. Big bowl of porridge for breakfast so that should keep me full for a while!

    Have a good day everybody!

  • Hello
Been trying really hard and can report a loss of 2lb for May.

Meal planning all over the place as never sure who is in when. Have been having lots of salad and meals with beans. Butter beans in a rich tomatoe sauce with courgettes and red peppers served with brown rice was a hit.

Had veggie meatless balls in tom sauce with spaghetti last night.

Exercise not as good as should be. Must try harder.

Reporting May total loss (and sulking at my bloody stupid digital scales that tell me different weights every few seconds). I weighed yesterday and I was 12st 6.5 lb, weighed today and I'd gone up a lb  so I am going to average it at a 4lb loss for May. Which I know for me is still quite a lot (I was 14st 6lb at Christmas so it's slowing down now) but I was just hoping for more... :(
Haven't been running since Thursday though, really hope I can get out tonight. Maybe that'll shift a bit, plus I need to be a bit more strict with the food, so I will try keeping the diary religiously, which I never really do :o

Anyway, it's June 1st today so June Challenge Time I think it's probably best to all have personal goals, as we are all at different stages so I am declaring a goal of
    5lb for June
Anyone who wants to join in post your target for June and good luck everyone!

Well done Newlywed on the shrinkage! :T

Breakfast - Bowl of FailedFlapjack Cereal and a thick slice of toast with butter and peanut butter (Was having an F-it moment!)
Lunch - Picnic as I'm taking kids out for the Day, ham sandwiches, lots of fruit and hopefully that'll be it for me.
Dinner - Roast Chicken dinner, lots of veggies. Must have smaller portions though, I tend to assume I can have a huge plateful as long as it's half veg but then I end up with more of everything else too! Though I was good last night and only had one sausage in my bit of Toad-in-hole.

    Morning all.

I think I'll largely opt of the June challenge as I'm off on holiday at the end of next week: I'm going music festival-wards and I doubt there's any chance of eating healthily there, or in the few days afterwards when I'll be staying with my parents (my DF refers to vegetables as 'guinea pig food'. which gives you an idea of what I'm up against! ;)). My challenge for June will therefore simply be to lose some weight - any amount will do for me for this month. :)

Good luck to everyone who's going to be more disciplined about things.

    Today's meals are:

B - small bowl of muesli with SS milk and a couple of spoonfuls of stewed pears
    S - bunch of grapes
L - two small wraps filled with HM baba ganoush, a small quantity of feta and lettuce
S - fruit of some kind - I've run out again and have to buy some at lunchtime
D - chicken and veg pad thai (using a jar of ready-made sauce :o;))

Exercise - walk up to the shops at lunchtime to buy fruit. :)

    Have a good day, all.
Back after a very long break!

Good morning and Happy June :D

Weigh-day is tomorrow then Friday I'm away cruising for 2 weeks so I think I'll opt for a maintain of whatever tomorrows weight is. Will let you know, am really, really hoping to reach a round figure as that's been my pre-hol goal. Just going to strip sheets and 'run' around doing laundry, shopping etc, so am keeping everything x'd I'll hit it. When I come back on 16/17th, depending on what weight I am then , I'll set another goal for the last 2 weeks of June
