Yesterday went well, could still do better though! Today am volunteering in the morning so that will stop me munching.

B: weetabix with skim milk and splenda, clementine (150)

L: sandwich made with 2 slices nimble, scraping sunflower spread, 2 quorn chicken-style slices, scattering of sweetcorn and tiny bit of mayo (200) banana (70)

D: breaded fish with potato wedges, peas and broccoli (500)

Leaves me with 200 calories for snacks

littlekel - I drink gallons of tea and coffe and could do with limiting my intake too! the milk soon adds up!
How many cups a day does everyone else drink? I will count mine today - will be in double figures as I'm doing an 11 hour shift and the kettle is always on at work!:D

I use a big latte mug for my tea :D, I drink about 4-5 of these a day. I figure if it stops me eating a bit I'll put up with the calories in the milk.
  • I try to drink only green jasmine tea (2 or 3 cups, no milk) and water whilst at work, but sometimes I just HAVE to have a coffee - depends what kind of day it is! I always have a cup of earl grey tea in the evening (which may or not be accompanied by some kind of snack or sweet treat - clearly my downfall :o) I tend to feel REALLY thirsty if I dont drink atleast 2 litres of water a day.

    Today's plan:
B: Porridge made with water, half banana, raisins
L: Spinach and chickpea salad, pear + banana
    Snack: Carrot/cucumber/celery veg sticks
D: Gnocchi in HM spicy tomato sauce
Snack: Cup of tea, nothing else

Exercise: Giving myself a day off running today (sore feet) but will still go to the gym and do atleast an hour cycling/cross trainer/weights

    Have a good day all.
  • I have been bad and naughty. :(

I woke up sleepy and a bit grumpy this morning, and I suppose I thought munching would help, but I sort of kept munching and it hasn't helped!

I wish I could sleep better. It feels completely different to be well rested. I just got married in December and I'm still getting used to sharing a bed. DH gets cross about me not lying still and then I go to sleep in a bad mood, which probably isn't great. And I have to get used to sleeping with the window shut, having always slept with it open. Any advice?

Hope you all have a healthy day :)

I find my work days are the worst. Today i am home and then have college later. So i will probably have 3 or 4. On a work day i have around 5 just at work without the evening!

Right today is going really well.

Dropped DD2 to nursery and then i walked until i had to go and get her again. Spoke to my mum for 20 mins at the school gates and popped home before collecting her. So was walking about 2 hours in total today. Checked out my route on google and i have walked 7 miles today! :j

My legs feel so damn heavy now though! I have college from 2-8pm tonight and i reckon i'll be knackered!!! :(

    today's plan:-

    b - weetabix and OJ

l - 4 x cracker bread with loft fat soft cheese, banana and HM flapjack

    s - banana

    d- 2 vegetarian sausages , beans and 2 eggs

Hoping for 1.5 litres of water today too.

I hope everyone else is having a good day x

I tend to have 2 cups of tea in the morning with my toast, 2nd straight after the 1st and then turn to water. We have a water machine at work and I just go and get a 500ml bottle filled up. in the evenings I have ginger&lemon tea or flavoured water (or wine but I try and limit that to weekend now).

I have done medical studies in the past and you have to give up all caffine for them, the headaches are amazing, so I really try and limit my caffine intake now but really dislike de-caf tea!

I have not been good so won't post my meals! Did get to the butchers on Saturday so have 'proper' food in now, just got to stop nibbling....

Good luck to all for the week and well done to our loses and will power to us all.

I probably make/have made for me about 8 cups of very very strong tea a day but I am usually never in one place long enough to finish a cup so I probably drink the equivalent of about 4 cups unless I am in work really late, then it can be up to 8
Bear in mind this tea is so strong my dental hygenist thought I had been using corsodyl because of the staining on my teeth :o Could be worse I suppose, at least its sugar-free and only has a splash of milk

Good day so far, but we will see how I get on later when I am stuck in work late!

B: 2 wholemeal toast with HM marmalade (no butter)

L: HM chilli and brown rice (small portion)

D: Hm chickpea curry and brown rice, 1/2 naan

S: Activia yoghurt so far, got apples and pears if I get peckish later
