Congratulations everyone who has lost :T:T:T ,and (((((hugs))))) to those who haven't.
Creeps on, head hung in shame...I have put on another 2 pounds!
So I am now back to where I was at the end of January...aaaargh!!
...I too have been in a munching mood all day, but was quite restrained...until I made some sultana buns this afternoon!!
Must eat better (and less!)...Must eat better... (and less!).
Off to settle infront of tv to watch the Wales vs France match tonight and get some knitting done...keeping my hands busy usually stops me from munching..
Will do lots of meal planning this weekend, as well as healthy eating and will try to step up the exercise too.
Have a great weekend everyone.

hi everyone,
just a quickie, i still lurk most days even though i rarely post. well done to all the losers and hugs for whoever is struggling.
i have managed to stay at 11 st which was my 3stone loss. i am 4lb up from where i actually got to and would like to get back to that as 10st 10lb is about right for me (i am 5'10)
i have given up all sweet things for lent so am hoping that helps to get the last few lbs back off.
the real reason for posting is just to say, i think i may have finally found a breakfast that doesnt have me knawing my own arm off by 11am! not even porridge seems to work for me. anyway, for the last 2 mornings i have had 2 slices of extra fibre, wholemeal toast with a scrape of spread and oraganic, sugar free peanut butter! it seems to actually keep me full:D:D just thought i would share that. may as well share todays menu while i'm here:
breakfast: toast, as above
lunch: hoisin duck wrap and 1/2 small bowl of chips
dinner: hm moroccan beef with cous cous and sweetcorn
snacks: oatcakes x 2 with peanut butter & 2 glasses red wine
have a good weekend
vics x- prior planning prevents poor performance!

Hi all
I have been following the slimming world plan on and off for a very long time and I'm still a work in progress!
Until the other day I belonged to body-optimise, their on-line slimming site but this has just expired and I have decided not to renew as for a while I've felt that I needed to get my eating/weight under control by myself without following somebody else's plan.
I always cook from scratch but tend to do separate meals for me and OH and something with chips for the kids. I will stick with the SW basics of eating lots of low cal filling food and avoiding the high cal unsatisfying foods but I also want to be able to cook other stuff like flans, toad in the hole, HM pizzas - the sort of economical family fare that we can all eat together - and train myself to eat less of it! I want to be normal!! I also want to rein in my grocery budget a bit more.
So that is where I want to be as well as about 3 stone lighter. I need to gather up my willpower and resist the temptation (which is worrying me a bit) to eat like an idiot now I'm no longer signed up to SW.
Hope everybody has a good day. My first task will be to resist the packet of custard creams sitting on the fridge. It's all good practise!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
Welcome franby and welcome back vixtress! :j
Big hugs to Keiss and grateful.
As could be predicted I weakened last night re alcohol. I vaguely remember eating 4 penguins (the chocolate bar, not the bird) at 2am and a hot cross bun. Who brought those blummin things in to the house?

Good Afternoon Peeps,
Oh dear what a greedy little froggie I have been of late ~ I reckon I'm at least 86 stone now:eek: I exagerate not!
Have bought the new Paul McKenna book and I'm going to give that a go, it all makes sense and Tappy said it's good so...
Gonna weigh on the 1st March so I have a start weight. My scales only go up to 24st so I shall borrow 3 other sets from they neighbours and put a foot on each one. I rekon that'll workHowever, if I weigh more than 96 stone I'm b uggered
Hope you are all well, bee good xxxxSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

franby - welcome! I go to SW(I'm a helper) and also at target and I follow most of the principles but not strictly. Like you I want to be able to eat what the rest of the family eat but just less of it! I'm cooking an onion tart tonight(probably high cal cos there's cheese in it and pastry) but I'll have a small bit with veggies or salad.
yesterday was disastrous. I ate like a piggy. Maltesers, white chocolate mice and white bread:mad: felt sick at bedtime so serves me right. Much better today :T
B - cereal with skimmed milk
l - mackerel on toast with salad
S - grapes
D - flan, beans and wedges
S - small slice HM cake at mums.
hope you've all had a good weekend xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
