Well I finally feel back to normal (whatever that is!) from my food poisioning bout a week ago.
Have eaten a bit erratically as and it tended to be plain food but mainly carbs (potatoes, soup, biscuits) so I made an effort to eat stir fry monday and get some veggies into my system. Think I should be back to meals now so today's plan is:
B: 2 rounds toast, peanut butter & honey
L: HM broccilli & stilton soup, HM banana bread
S: applesalmon, pots & aparagus
Tomorrow's plan:
B: toast & maramalade
L: soup & roll
S: Apple / crispsliver & bacon, pots & peas
Hi Jenny74 thanks for receipes, will try one of those at the weekend when I have been to the butchers.
good luck to all for the week.0 -
Morning everyone!
Glad to hear you're feeling better mlz1413. Welcome Jenny74 :j
I lost 5lbs at WI last night and so pleased!! Put on 1lb last week which was weird as I'd tried hard all week and have noticed a pattern now. The week before I'm due on no matter how hard I try I gain or stay the same and then the following week I have a really good weight loss, so at least it's evening out over the fortnight.
It also means I've hit my birthday target and gone over it too!!! I wanted to have lost 42lbs at last night's WI and have lost 44lbs....in 6 months. Still about another 40lbs to go but it's great progress.
Today:
Breakfast: Cherioes with ss milk
Lunch: Soup, Melba Toasts, Yogurt
Dinner: Salmon Fishcake with Broccoli, Green Beans and something I haven't decided on yet!0 -
morning!
Raspberry - well done thats a brilliant loss!:T:T:T
mlz - I have been eating mainly carbs too since I was poorly - just couldn't face fruit at all! I've had some veggies and salad but not as much as I should have had. Glad you're better.
weigh in tonight for me.
have a good day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Woo, congrats Raspberry Swirl! 44lbs in 6 months is such an inspiration! You must be really chuffed to have exceeded your mini-goal already
Thanks to Jenny74 for those recipes - the chicken with mushrooms in a lemon sauce sounds delish.
I'm doing OK so-far this week. Can hardly believe it's Wednesday already! As of tomorrow it is exactly 2 weeks till I head home for a long weekend to celebrate my Dad's birthday, so that's 2 weeks I have to really knuckle down and try to be as good as possible...eek! I'm probably not going to lose any visible weight in that time, but if I can be really good now it means I can really enjoy all the fancy meals over the birthday weekend without causing too much damage. That's the plan anyway!
Today:
B: Porridge made with water, half banana, raisins
L: Chickpea and spinach salad, fresh pineapple
Snack: Pear, diet cokeHM minestrone soup with slice of HM bread
Snack: Hopefully nothing except cups of tea
Exercise: 1hr dance class this evening
Have a good day all0 -
Well done Raspberry! Fantastic loss!
I'm definitely nowhere near as inspirational as I've just munched my way through a cream egg (sorry to mention it frogga if you're reading this!) I hardly ever have them so that's probably my one and only for the year! Just needed a bit of a pick me up but will work extra hard at training tonight to make up for it!
Oh and miss_cupcake what type of dancing do you do?0 -
Raspberry - that's amazing, well done you!!!!! :j
TOTM here so feeling carp and staying away from scales. Gutted as hubby was due to have first pay day from new job today, but just normal pay in so looks like it is basic rations again for another month and another month of looking like a fat tramp with rubbish hair and old clothes. As you can see, I am having a self-pity day lol.
So far I have had:
B: 1 weetabix and splenda (150)
S: baby yoghurt, bourbon biscuit, grapes (150)
L: one slice wholemeal nimble with 1/4 tin of spaghetti and banana (250)
Cupboards and freezer's bare so will have to get out at some point to do a big healthy shop. Will spend afternoon meal planning and figuring out cheap meals!2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
