Keiss - you've got to allow yourself a bit of leeway on family birthdays otherwise you'd start to feel very hard done by! Don't feel too bad about your eating this week. I'm feeling the TOTM struggle too!

Done ok again today. Blimey, that's 3 days in a row of eating like a normal person instead of a dustbin! Tomorrow might be difficult as OH wants drinkies after a hard week at work. I want to be strong but at the same time feel like leting my hair down a bit.

I might hop on the scales in the morning and let them decide. If I've lost I will celebrate - if not I have to be a good girl. :D

  • Hi Everyone,

I've had a disastrous week so far, I'll wait till Monday and start anew ;)

I'm not even going to weigh-in tomorrow, I'll wait till next Friday and see what damage I've done :( and it's my TOTM next week too :o

Anyway.... I started learning to drive a few weeks ago and todays lesson went quite well. Maybe I should use the steering wheel to see if I've lost weight or not......the further away it is from my big tummy; the more weight I've lost :rotfl::rotfl:

  • Hello
I've been swimming - 40 lengths, feel all virtuous now. Had a couple of sweets from the work jar and spoke again to boss about not buying so many treats, several colleagues have illness which mean they shouldn't been eating cxxp and I constantly saying no.Have turned down chocolate bars and cakes this week.
Today was quite good on the eating front, had salad with peppers, onions and mushrooms for tea with 2 very small potato cakes.
    Best wishes to you all.

Morning all! Pleased to report 1 lb off this week which is very good for TOTM. Spurring me on to make next week another good week so I can get down to new low. Which means I am going to try and stay strong over alcohol tonight. Wish me luck!

    B: weetabix and splenda (150)

    L: left-over quorn and red pepper fajitas (left-over? There's a new word in my vocabulary :D) (400)

D: battered cod, 3-4 potato wedges, broccoli and peas (500)

    S: banana, options hot choc

  • Thanks for your welcome :)

I was seriously craving chocolate this morning! I even went and hunted round the house for some (my husband hides it from me). But the craving has gone now - it went as soon as I came on this board!

B: Being in serious munching mood, I had a slice of toast with lots of peanut butter, two bowls of peas in veggie stock and two digestive biscuits. I don't even like digestive biscuits - I just wanted to munch!

L: Chickpea, pear and gem lettuce salad. The pear works very well in it. I use a dash of soy sauce, a teaspoon of lecithin and some omega oil.

D: Will be stuck in town so will have to get something there - probably some stir-fried veggies.

    S: I've munched enough today . . . herbal tea it is!

I'm going to do the bollywood dvd again today - it's quite fun.
  • Well done JoJoB!!

I was good yesterday until I went to pool and lapsed and ate 2 sausages, 3 duck spring rolls and a roast potato....after I'd eaten a dinner already. Whoops

    Today:
    Breakfast - Yogurt
Lunch - WW Crisps and Muller Rice
Dinner - HM Lasagne, Broccoli and Green Beans
Drinks - Probably about 5-6 this evening as I'm out, but will stick to JD & diet cokes to minimise the damage!

Will be swimming twice this weekend, but probably overeating on Sunday as I'm having a family dinner/tea for birthday so not expecting great results from next week's WI!!

Have a great weekend everyone :D
  • Well done for the loss JoJoB! Your lunch today sounds delicious :D

    Today for me:
B: Porridge made with water, half banana, raisins
L: Spinach and chickpea salad, small pot of lowfat custard, a pear
    Snack: Another pear
D: HM salmon pasta frittata with salad
    Snack: Tinned peaches

Exercise: 45mins cardio + 30 mins weights at the gym

Eek, my food for today looks like loads (again!) But what's worrying is that I can easily eat all that and still feel hungry :o:eek: I'm working out at the gym a lot these days so I'm going to attribute it to that (nevermind the fact that I'm a greedy wee pig!). Anyway, in an attempt to NOT have a disasterous weekend like that past few have been, I'm going to try and come on here and post my food plan for each day. Should keep me on the straight and narrow a bit and not wander off into dangerous unplanned snacking terrirtory :p

WI today and I've lost 1.5 lbs:j that makes a stone since jan 09 which I'm really please with, wanted to do 1lb a month and despite a few wobbles have got there. I real loads better and am off to treat myself to some new work trousers now - I've been holding up the old pairs with belts as it made me feel good, but now I'm happy to treat myself as I've got to my goal.

Tappy I think you and me must have had the same, I blamed it on the prawns at that was the most obvious thing - still as you say a loss is a loss however we get there. (PS no intention of going through that again!)

To Procrastinator & Miss cupcake I'm impressed by your exercising.
To Princess Aloha - bollywood does sounds like fun
Raspberry Swirl - your increasing exercise to allow for your treats look on the good side and not the negatives.
JoJoB - Well done on your loss!

I'm off to butchers tomorrow so hope to have some proper planned meals rather than the scratching about I've done this last week.

Good luck to you all for the weekend - its a hard time for most of us!!
  • Cereal for bfast, hm lentil soup for lunch, hm lasagne and roast pots for dinner with cabbage and carrots and parsnips. Doesn't sound too bad? No exercise though. Still trying to find my pedometer, think weather shuld be reasonable tomorrow so want to go for a long walk.
Oh just remembered 4 sweets from jar.
