So I completely disgraced myself last night, ended up getting hungry and so demolished: a bag of crisps, a slice of cake, another slice of cake with butter on AND a slice of bread with butter on :o and  with myself! Oh and I forgot the alcohol - does it matter at this point

    Today:
B: 2 slices of toast, l/f spread, jam on one & honey on other - 400 cals?
L: ham salad sandwich, no dressing - 350 cals
    S: melon medley - 50 cals
    S: ww choc dessert - 63 cals
D: I'm out for a chinese  will have to be very good!

Welcome MSNovice - that is one hell of a target, I shall read your posts with interest. I lost a stone over a year but have hit a plateau since - probably lack of will power :o so hopefully I can get some motivation from you. Would love to be back in the 9st anything bracket!:)

I was quite good last night, had soup as a starter and a prawn main meal to try and keep the calories down, but then had a dessert :o I don't normally eat desserts but my friend ordered ice cream so I decided to re-visit my childhood and had a banana fritter.

    Today:
B: single pack of cereal with milk = 175 cals
L: big bowl of salad with vingeratte dressing, 1 tomato, 1 beetroot and some cheese (50g ish)
    S: m*ller rice
D: chicken stirfry - NO added carbs ie noodles or rice! (this is actually an instruction to myself :rotfl:)

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Hi everyone :) Not sure what is going on with my body lately re where weight is coming from, esp as I hadn't been eating much when poorly. If anything, i would have thought I'd have lost quite a bit. Maybe it's cos I haven't been moving about as much.

    Yesterday:
B: Cup of black coffee and small piece HM flapjack
L: Small HM wrap with 1 tbsp hm hummus + smear of lime pickle. Black coffee. Pear.
D: HM tomato sauce with olives, sun dried tomatoes, borlotti beans and mushrooms with 60g pasta. Small glass of red wine. digestive biscuit and cuppa with splash of rice milk.

    Today's plan:
B: 4 mini HM choc pancakes + black coffee
L: Small HM wrap with 1 tbsp peanut butter + smear of lime pickle. Black coffee. Pear.
D: Butternut Squash and Pea Lasagne (with HM lsagne sheets and approx 2 sheets each) with salad. Small glass of red wine.

    Tomorrow's plan:
B: Black coffee + 2 rye crispbread with smear of peanut butter + cherry jam
L: Tin of soup. Probably a pear + black coffee or tea with rice milk afterwards.
D: Either a Chinese takeway or a cashew + veg stir fry. Small glass of red wine.

Thanks :) I actually weighed myself again this morn (can't seem to stop myself doing it every day!) and I've lost another lb so total to 5 now. And I'm finally in the 10st something bracket woohoo!

I'm going away next week though so thankfully I won't be able to weigh myself then, though I'll still be checking in on here.

The biggest change I've made is to completely cut down on alcohol- before I was drinking wine when I got in from work every evening, now I probably drink 2-3 times a month. I'm also trying to eat around 1,200 calories and walk everywhere. So far the weight seems to be falling off, but I'm sure I'll plateau.

Keep up the good work everyone!

Well done everyone and welcome to all newbies. I'm pleased to report that I've lost 2lbs this week! I'm finding it a real struggle and have only lost 4lbs since I started at Christmas.... To be honest I've resorted to Slimfast and have hardly eaten anything all week, less than 1000 calories a day but I was desperate to see a loss. I promise to try and be more sensible this week. Good luck everyone.

Hi all :) Well my eating has all gone to pot again as was poorly again yesterday. Still not good today but good news is that the girls are fine as far as I can tell.

    Today:
B: Glass of water and handful of cornflakes, dribble of vanilla rice milk + 3 chopped prunes
L: Plan on having a pear. Might try an avocado or some hm hummus on a rye crispbread or a slice of white toast depending on how I feel.
D: Will try a small portion of the butternut squash and pea lasagne I'll be making (hm lasagne sheets without wheat) and some shredded Iceberg.
Love and compassion to all x
