Hi everyone :) Hugs to those who could use one, and congrats to those who have lost x

I lost the way for a while :( Going to get back into the right train of mind for a week before I scale it :P Making myself do about 15 mins of yoga every evening on top of the usual walking/pushing 2 babies up and down the necessary-if-you-wanna-get-anywhere hills around here :p

    Today's plan:
B: 1 slice best of both with spread + rhubarb ginger jam. Tea with splash of rice milk.

L: Avocado + beetroot salad with medium potato

D: Thai noodle soup - probs small glass of red wine too
Love and compassion to all x

    L: Minestrone soup

Will try not to snack but its hard when stuck in the bloomin' house all day :( Esp when its cold out and trying to work around girls. Just wanna wallow with tea and biscuits, toast, cake, etc, etc... (not tat there are bscuits and cake in but when I'm stuck in like this I end up baking...)

Candlepower - Thank you. I will try to find something nice to have a small piece of.
It does seem such a lot to lose doesn`t it but we can get there. Hopefully with a lot of hard work, willpower and support on here.

Went to the gym this morning and will be working all day so not much chance of any more exercise.
I am pleased to say that I lost another 2lbs this week. Only 6 more to go before I reach my mini goal.

Started the day off well with orange juice, bowl of porridge with sultanas. Now for a cup of coffee and get down to work.

Have a good day everyone. Good luck in your efforts.

Boodle - I agree it`s so hard not to snack when you`re stuck in the house all day. I work from home and the fridge/cupboards are always in sight. I`ve found that it`s the snacks that cause me the problems.
Hope you manage to get out today :)

Oh I'm just like a pig at the moment, snuffling around finding bits to eat. Not good. My meals are fine, all healthy and no 'bad' puddings.......... it's the snacks! I am stressed and a bit down this week, heating is not working well, packing for move seems daunting, just worry worry, so eat eat. Ah well, I shall be kind to myself, let myself fall a little, then get back up on my feet and try again.

Hi everyone. Been have a tough time the past couple of days. Been finding solace in bad bad foods, having yesterday decided to sabotage myself by getting fat. Needless to say best-laid plans went to pot. Why do we do these things?

Thinking more clearly today (almost - still kinda foggy)

B: 1 slice best of both with spread of vitalite. Cup of tea with splash of rice milk.
            L: Minestrone soup. Pear.
D: Cashew and veg stir fry (dressed with soy sauce) with rice.

            Happy Birthday imataloss!

I have put on some extra padding over the summer :o

In fact I need to lose some body fat and rebuild some muscle after being out of action for the best part of 6 months. My OH is also on a quest to lose the stone she put on after quitting smoking.

We are about to re-take control of our diet and lifestyle. :j

But I also want to cut my grocery spend by a further thousand pounds next year (MSE & OS in particular already helped reduced our food spend by more than 50%!!! this year) This is going to present a challenge because of the type of food we normally like to eat.

So I envisage our 'diets' as a kind of OS money saving lifestyle change.

To help with my motivation I'm going to blog about this journey and if you don't mind I'll post here every now and then as a kind of diary. I find the act of making things public motivates me to try harder to succeed.

If anyone's interested in following the blog (No ad's or anything commercial) it will be http://dietwrx.blogspot.com

            Hi Crux,

Congrats on your 'lightbulb moment' wishing you the best of luck, I will keep an eye on the blog :)

I'm struggling a bit at the moment as work is very hectic and there are alot of colleagues facing redundancy so collectively we are consoling ourselves with treats, whether its fresh bread with butter and home made orange curd or scones with cream.

Tonight we are having friends over to watch the UFC fights so no doubt a curry will be involved but I will try to choose sensibly and avoid the extras :)

Back to it tomorrow with a roast, plenty of fresh veggies from the farmers market and nothing greasy ;)

Hugs to all that need it x
