Hi Vixtress - I'm in the same boat apart from having a good reason :rotfl: . You've made the first step which is normally the hardest mentally, so well done and good luck!
Keep going Sams think of what you have achieved rather than what you haven't. You're still trying and haven't thrown in the towel because of a stressful time which is huge, well done and keep going.
Today I weighed myself and I'm back to 10' 4 Horray! (this is the weight I stuck at months ago) going to see the diet out for the full 2 weeks still.
Today:
B: 2 toast, l/f spread & thin layer of jam = 350 cals
L: avocado & bacon salad = 350 cals
S: yogurt = 50 calschicken curry with mushrooms = 450 cals

The last two evenings when girls are in bed me and OH have been having about an hour on Wii tennis to make up for not getting out to preschool with girls which is my main daily exercise (they are heavy and we have hills!)Love and compassion to all x0 -
Over half the clothes in my wardrobe don't fit
Just think of all the lovely "new" clothes you can wear soon tho!I have clothes ranging from size 10-18 lol, something for every day of the month in theory
I just don't get people moaning about putting a couple of lbs every month - last time I took note I fluctuated 9lb IIRC :O
Love and compassion to all x0 -
well my from work post has become a from home post, blooming weather!
i weighed in last night and am at least 8lb up on this time last year, it really needs to go.
the weight has been creaping up for a while and i did try to come back here in summer. unfortunately my mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer at around the same time. obviously dieting was the last thing on my mind and due to all the hospital visiting etc all the healthy cooking went out of the window.
sadly my mum passed away a little while ago and the time has come for me to get things back to some sort of normality.
so...................the ticker is changed, the fruit and veg has been bought and off we go!
i dont really do 'diets' but i am going to follow the principals of the 'no s diet' its really just common sense and suits me down to the ground.
today has been/is:
2 x wm toast with butter and primula
stew & 2 small dumplings
salmon fillet, cabbage & bacon with maybe some hm pot wedges.
i really must post every day. i really want to lose about 10lb altogether. 7 by xmas would be good. am looking forward to getting back to it- prior planning prevents poor performance!

Hi vixtress sorry to hear about your loss, very sad ((hugs))
Good to have something to focus on and a bit of weight off before xmas with a sensible eating plan is as good a starting point as any!
I was disappointed with myself yesterday and wanted to post it early as I it will help me keeping focused.
I had a decent day and then ate a rice cake, followed by a mini pastie that I had cooked for my fella (pastry filled with spiced potato mixture- daren't think of the calories!) and then went to the pub with my fella and had 2 alcoholic drinks. Soooo un-necessary!
So today I have to eat:
B: avocado and yogurt (bizarre but both needed using up) = 250 cals
L: salad leaves, 1/2 tb-sp of mozzarella, 2 thin slices of ham, & tomato & cuppa soup = 200 cals
S: philly light & 2 celery sticks = 75 calschicken in breadcrumbs (baked) & veg = 350 cals

morning,
did ok yesterday, stuck to my plan but did have 2 glasses of wine last night (the no s diet allows this but its still a fair amount of calories:eek:)
today, and in fact the weekend is tricky as there are a few meals out planned with OH. i will just try to stick to the no seconds, snacks or sweets rules and hope for the best. have also downloaded a weight tracker app for my iphone so hopefully that may help my motivation.
today is something like this:
2 x crumpets with butter (i would of had wm toast but was at OH's)
leftover tomato/bacon pasta
out for dinner with a friend. will try and be sensible but there will be a couple of glasses of wine, no doubt.
hope you have a good day x

Hi all, welcome all newbies.
walked to work (2.5 miles but took nearly an hour) in several inches of lovely snow... to find the office locked with a note on the door saying we're closed!
So went to Tesco and then walked home.
So that two hours walking in the snow and my thighs ache. But the maple pecan slice tasted good when I got home
Lunch will be veg curry and dinner will be beef stew.
Catch you all later.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
10' 3 today - Yes!!! That is a 5lb loss in 2 weeks which the diet plan did suggest, but so good to be back in my trousers without feeling cut in half!
Today:
B: single portion cereal pack & milk = 115 cals
S: banana =100 cals
L: soup & 1 slice of bread = 250 cals
S: applecurry (eating out) will do veggie to keep cals down, but a couple of glasses of vino are going to be consumed.
Tommorrow, i'm out for a drink with a friend but she's not a big drinker so shouldn't be too naughty.
I've got another week before my xmas meals and drinks start so going to try and stick to the diet in the day times but am going to allow myself the odd glass of wine in the evenings (i'm thinking a bottle over a week) to keep me motivated.
Hope everyone has a good weekend and lots of will power to you all.0 -
Well done Mlz
Sorry to hear your news Vixtress x
