Well done to you Dealingwithdebts. Two and a half stone since April is fantastic.

I am just about managing to maintain my weight I think, certainly don't seem to be loosing any but as long as it doesn't go on that's something. The weather is quite depressing and I don't feel motivated to diet, just want to comfort eat. However, I have tried to keep this to the one evening meal and stick to healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks. Having said that, made twinks hobnobs last night for visitors and ofcourse, they had a couple each and there are loads left.

A few years ago, there was a programme on television called (I think) The Truth about Food. They did experiments to prove/disprove theories and myths such as did sugar make kids hyper and did carbs or protein make you full for longer. Well, I remember one They said that they proved that drinking a glass of water before a meal didn't make you fuller and stop you eating more, and they did an experiemnt by giving people a proper meal, say meat, potatoes, veg and gravy and then giving another couple that same meal liquidised into soup. does anyone remember this? The reason I am asking is because for weeks now I have been making veg soup up and having that for lunch blitzed in the liquidiser. Today, I just added some gravy granules and ate it like a stew and I feel much fuller. Strange.

Hi everyone. Been very busy with work lately, but luckily it means I haven't had time to realise I am hungry :rotfl: Everyone seems nicely motivated at the mo :T Love to the gang x

            Yesterday I had:
Breakfast: 2 slices Best of Both toast with spread + yeast extract
Lunch: An onion bhaji from the previous evening's takeaway with salad
Dinner: 1/4 portion channa masala + 1/4 portion mushroom pilau both from previous night's takeaway, with large salad and extra peas + sweetcorn mixed in to the rice.

            Today:
Breakfast: About 30g branflakes, 1 chopped date, 5 chopped almonds and oat milk. Cup of tea with splash of oat milk.
Lunch: Salad with 1/2 avocado, hm marie rose dressing, rye crispbread with 1 tsp peanut butter.
Dinner: Plan is to have spaghetti in hm tomato sauce, salad + 1 slice garlic baguette.

Sometime today I will also be allowing myself a slice of the chocolate loaf cake DD forced me to make ;) with a coffee.
Love and compassion to all x

Hi all, nice to see a few more posts after it has been so quiet. Had a sandwich made with two large slices of homemade bread today. Not suppose to eat bread (along with so many other things) because of yeast intolerance, but... Knew about it straight away. I can get away with one slice but in my head thought one sandwich.!!!! Oh well.

            S: cucumber/tomatoes
            L: Salmon sandwich
            S: Banana/necterine
            D: Bowl of porridge
            S: Carrot

I used to adore cheese and beetroot sandwiches - particularly M&S pickled beetroot with Wensleydale or a mild goats cheese...

                    Today is as planned:

B: Approx 30g branflakes, 1 date, 6 chopped almonds + oat milk. Cup of tea with splash of oat milk.

L: Will be having the tin of WW soup lurking at the back of the cupboard with 2 rye crispbread spread with vitalite.

D: Chargrilled veg with lentilled couscous. Probs a small glass of dry white too ;)

I will probably manage another slice of that choc cake at some point with a coffee too.

Walking eldest to pre-school with 2 of them in the buggy, pushing them uphill, is enough exercise for a week in one go! However I am managing to do it now without much puff at all, and speedier each day :T

Hi all, it is good to see some more posts!

                    Today:
B: hot pastie (no bread in house and ran out of time for cereal)
                    S: snack-a-jacks (l/f type rice cakes)
                    L: tin of soup
                    S: yogurt, choc milkshake
D: anyones guess at the mo!

Have been unorganised as HAD to go dress shopping for an outfit to wear to a wedding that is tomorrow  This involved Wed & Thurs evening after work traipsing around shops (ps: i loathe shopping, very uncommon in females apparently!) so with not getting back until after 8pm two days running I couldn't be bothered with meal planning for tonight.

Fingers crossed for the sun to shine tomorrow, I'm really looking forward to the wedding and for our friends to go off on honeymoon and relax.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and lots of willpower - mine is 'having a break' this weekend so please feel free to borrow :)
