Been to an orange shop today to have a play with all the phones so I can decide which to upgrade too.

The sales assistant said out of all of them (bar the iphone which I wont be upgrading too) you "have to have a blackberry". Why I asked why he simply said it was the best.
Out of interest, which Orange shop was that?

Im purchasing a Blackberry 8250 purely to recieve my E Mails while out and about workdays,Anyone know if I can just purchase a sim for it as a monthly cost, and which are the best deals. I have looked thru several websites but cant make head nor tail of all the jargon on these sites and dont want to end up in a costly contract.Im also confused as to the actual service thats offered ie some say minutes and texts but do not mention data.T Mobile coverage no good in my area.

With a Blackberry, if you want emails to 'jsu appear' on you phone then you need a tariff that has BB added. This enable to BB specific functions. With Vodafone on contract I think it is a £5 pm add on. Not sure about PAYG.

I have just a Nokia 2330 and it costed only 20£. I really do most of my emails and stuff on computer and I think that I don't need this intelligent phone.

I have thought about the new iPad, but I'm not sure if I want to get it. It does not really provide anything new, just the old system in a new package.

Right now cheap seems to be the way to go.

However for someone that wont properly use the email function for more than 5 mins a day, goes on the internet on her phone probably twice a week would it be worth me having one?

Most of my emails and internet browsing I do on the PC/laptop so yes I think all of that would be surplus to requirements.

Although as I have a free upgrade I want to get the best I can just not something that will be wasted on me.

you need to decide what you want for a phone,
if you want facebook & email - blackberry (love my blackberry but no point if you don't want email/facebook, i use facebook email blackberry messenger and its great under one contact in my address book I can blackberry message them/call/text/email/facebook, love that when I call someone it brings up their FB pic sad I know)
if you want a camera - maybe a satio
if you want apps - iphone or maybe blackberry
if you want a phone just for calls and texts get one you like the look of they all have cameras and internet and basic email
if you want music media - iPhone, nokia X6, se satio or w995
    Yes Your Dukeiness :D
