Frepol it may be a low birth rate year but it will depend on area. Our school for example has 70 P7 kids.
CoDownMum, if you can get that information, I'll buy it off you. :rotfl:Our first choice is Grosvenor on a score of 104. I now know that your son is another one in front of him. What other choices are you going for?0 -
We're looking at Regent and Inst for 2nd and 3rd choices. Possibly Campbell too as an additional backup. Just 4 choices but not putting a secondary school down. TO be honest I havent heard of many applying to Grosvenor as yet - only a handful. But I suppose there would be a lot from local Belfast schools0

Well as your son has a higher score than mine I highly recommend Regent. :rotfl:I am joking of course. :rotfl:0

Lets just keep our fingers crossed they both get in? Are there many from your sons school applying there?0

In our school only one applying to Grosvenor that I know of (though 7 students I don't know) - a boy on 112 . It is a third choice, Methody and RBAI first and second.0

I don't know as yet. I did find out today that there are 11 qunitile 1 and 7 Quintile 2 in our school. From that I know of 5 definitely applying for Grosvenor. I need to find out about the rest and will endeavour to do so.0

I dont think there are many in my sons school applying for Grosvenor as first choice - I have a meeting with the headmaster tomorrow so if I find out anything I will post it. Its going to be a guessing game until may0 -
Hi anyone from Bangor ? know anything about Glenola intake ?0

I think the applications for grosvenor are down this year, only one pupil that I know of from our school applying. I am really surprised as I thought they sold the school really well on their open night. Our first choice is Regent but I think the world and his brother are applying there. Grosvenor is our 2nd choice, so maybe we will be lucky. Its just a lottery really!!!!0

To be honest I would be happy with either Grosvenor or Regent - I was impressed with both. I would hope with scores of 106 we should have a chance at one of them. But as you say its a lottery. I think most of the kids from my sons school will be applying to Regent but I will try to find out more tomorrow0
