I have the afternoon off and instead of going to the shops I have a (very boring) "to do" list
    • clean fridge
    • list a few things on ebay
    • file study notes/handouts
    • handwashing
It will be a miracle if I manage to do all of it.

    Hi all

NGLady, those tins are hard to open that's why I use a children's moneybox tin with a very stiff lid instead. I've always had fears of not being able to open the one like yours. Glad you finally managed to open it.

Mags, I was like you today, staying in and doing chores and not interested. After putting them off for ages I put on the tv (How Clean is your House - 2 episodes) and did a lot of things in the breaks.Seeing those houses spurred me into action.

    Verynewmoneysaver - more shoes? :)

How did the rest of you get on today? Good or naughty?

Lol Angela, I did nearly shove the scissors through my hand when I was trying to get into it. Very impressed though than in 3 weeks of bits and bobs I saved £50 :)

    I had a "average" day
    Good
    Only spent £7

    Bad
Didn't actually do any ebay :( Hopefully another cheaper day soon.

Turns out a really clean house is more satisfying than yet another shopping trip.

  • I've just done a ton of ebay listings - just actually created the listing, I haven't filled in any of the details or done a description (apart from price). I'll do that tomorrow when I have the time to take photos and stuff! LOL.

I spent £16 on something I shouldn't have today. I don't even know why I bought it?! what a moron.

Can you do that? Do dummy listings for now and then put items on tomorrow ?

Can you return it? Don't beat yourself up about it. Try to figure out why you do it. You said that your part of your house was not great, are you depressed and spending to escape your home surroundings?
I know when our house was at its worst, my spending was at its worst.
