Wow... long time no chat, ladies. Do any of you still post? How are you all doing?
I understand I got removed from the facebook group, just neglected the internet entirely as life has been crazy! In some ways good, others bad. Really should jump back on the bandwagon and try to save again.0 -
Hi again
We tried contacting you on FB but didn't get any replies.
How are you - last I recall you were thinking about an interview that was long ago.
Are you still a shopaholic?.0 -
Hi Anglea,
Yeah I have been pretty terrible at keeping up with you all. I miss reading everyone's updates -- this thread used to be a real help. Good at making me feel guilty about my spends, lol. How are you doing?
I had curbed my spending up until about three months ago, and now it's just out of control. Not just that but the past fortnight I've been spending a lot more on going out and this month alone I've pretty much cleared my current accountNot like me at all!
so yeah, I'm back and hoping that I can get back on track before xmas. Not that I have a lot of outgoings, but I would like a job before then. I'm so tired of going to the Jobcentre - the most depressing, demoralising place on earth
Edit to add: I'm currently trying to justify spending £100 on a new pair of straighteners. My current ones smell really weird when they are heating up but they still work. Someone please talk some sense into me!0 -
Hi CL, Could you buy a cheap pair on ebay or somewhere until you have a bit more cash.0
-
Hi VNMS
I really should just stick with the ones I've got as they're still useable for now, just a bit worried as to why they smell so weirdI saw some GHDs on Amazon for £89.00 and I'm so tempted. My current ones are by Babyliss... pretty good and lasted 4+years.
I wish there was a good, cheaper alternative to GHDs!!!0 -
Hi
Can't you try winning some? I know you are into comps.
Ages ago we all used to do those NSD's - do you still ever try them?
I found I swopped my shopping addiction to socialising so that's where my money goes although I did have a few of those 'can't leave the shop until I get something' feelings in recent months.
Are you spending your money on things you actually need or is it just emotional spends?0 -
I myself very shopaholic can anyone guide me to get rid of this.0
