  • I might've asked this before... and you don't have to give specifics, but how did you meet Bym?

    Hi all

I should be in bed but still a bit alert, I was out in the evening, then spoke to MM on the phone and just now emailed him.

    Sorry about BYM

What did you eventually do CL as you were very bored beforehand?

    Hi all

I had a dream about CL :) and someone in her household.

As I don't know who lives in CL's house this is pure fantasy.

Can't remember it exactly, I think it started off as me phoning CL, later we were in the same place, an event involving dining and she left the room and I was talking to this other person for hours, they had been served the food but somehow I kept being missed out.

Last night at the pub they had free home made Indian food and perhaps it is related to that..
  • ^Ahh really - it always amuses me when I dream about online people.
Ironic that I left a social situation... that would be quite my style actually :S

I haven't done much at all recently. My brother and mum went shopping on Thursday and I opted to stay in... I HATE it when my brother drives us places as we have had a few near misses, so I tend not to go unless absolutely desperate!!!
  • Oh CL i know what you mean- my dad's driving gives me anxiety too- he's a speed freak. So i tend to either rush to be the driver or not go when it's family outings. I can't take it.

    Coincidence alert - dad's driving.

I only go about once or twice a year now as my nerves can't stand it.

In November coming back from London I thought it was going to be my last day on earth, problem on the motorway in the middle lane right on a sharp bend, car conked out, in the dark heavy traffic. In the previous motorway services he'd forgotten to change into his driving shoes and had his foot in the wrong place. Thank god no-one hit us and he got it going again.

There were extra dramas before the journey home too.

I can also empathise with you CL, my DS drives really fast. Last year he was taking DS2 and I back to the care home and drove down all the farm tracks instead of the proper roads, then took a hump back bridge really fast so the car nearly took off! I was petrified as there are big ditches like small rivers running either side - I don't care what he does alone or with his friends as long as I'm not in the car..

    Happy Monday peeps!
Freezing out there but at least the sun is shining.
Well i am currently being a silly girl- i have missed a payment on one of my credit cards...not sure how that happened but this has happened a few times inthe last few months with different accounts. Lord help me...i haven't missed a payment in years! I am mortified- and at a time when i said the letting agency could do a credit check instead of just a bank check because it would be faster!!!
I'm such an idiot! There's no excuse i got paid a week ago and could have sortd out payment then!
One step forward 2 steps back:mad::eek::mad:
