Evening girlies...
Sorry for not msging on here in such a long time - times been of an essence recently im afraid!
I probably have the complete opposite problem to you ladies when it comes to the phone. I have always worked in a customer service envrionment, where the phone has been a part of my day to day life, so I am used to talking to strangers and strikeing up a 'relationship' with the client. I now work in a sort of outbound job, so everyday I phone about 150 customers, strike up conversation and get the result I am after. Which I am pretty successful in, so to be honest with you i dont get that problem. However, I remember when me and Deman first met, I needed to phone his mums home and it took me several attempts before I took the courage to call him. Perhaps I am ok ringing people that i will never speak to again so it doesnt actually matter what type of impression I get. Possibly, its worth bearing that in mind when you girls make your phone calls, you will never speak to that person again so it doesnt matter if you stumble/ask a silly question/etc....
Anglea:
I've been to the pub for lunch and got asked out again by one of the people from ages ago, I told them I was taken..
WOOHOOOOOO - MM is a lucky man and he had best look after my lovely Anglea
Flickering - I loved our little shopping trip in Liverpool that time.. I was very nervous, but it was lovely of you to show me the city. I went back in the summer and thanks to your help I didnt get at all lostwoohoo.
You should deffinatly try and get down to the meet up - and if you ever move back down 'south' (to where you are now!) we should do it again
Regarding the dentist - I used to be very scared of the dentist too. I cant stand things being in my mouth, such as when she tried to do that xray thing. But my dentist was a stand-in-dentist, at the new practise that I joined, but she was a very nice australian lady and it really made me feel at ease. I need to go back this month, was meant to go back in November but business took over. Must.. book.. its really hard around here, no where really opens on a saturday and i loath to waste a day of my limited holiday allowance on chores lol.
regarding houses - I am really scared of 'haunted' things. I went to a friends house the other month, and I knew somebody had died in there not too many a year ago, and i wouldnt let my friend leave me alone even for five minutes lol. I live in a brand new property, and to tell you the truth i wouldnt live in any other. I do love old houses though, there just not for me sadly.
regarding casulty - i didnt really like saturday nights episode. I dont really like the new AE it doesnt shout out casulty to me. Can anybody refresh me, what happened in the last series to need a new reception area and AE - i cant remember!!
Did you know it takes 2 weeks to record an episode of holby?

Hi all,
LOL Frog. I need a fling more like...
Hope Anglea is enjoying her time with MM.
Dentist wasn't anything to worry about - my teeth are fineSorted for another 6months at least.
NG the problem with the phonecall I need to make is that I then have to meet the person after it... so unfortunately it makes it all the more worrying. I will do it eventually. Procrastination is an eeeevil thing.0 -
Hi girls
Hope you are all ok
Too late to be posting really but wanted to say I might be awol a bit longer.
It's going to be really weird tomorrow getting back to normal as DS2 is home until Sunday and will be wanting all his pub outings with me and I'm still in MM mode
This evening I started on the book we're writing and from now onwards need to be focused on research as well as getting on trying to sort out the rest of my life once and for all.0 -
Sounds good Anglea
Has MM gone home now?
It seems he has been a real inspiration to you and congratulations on beginning the book. Not Rachmaninov

Boredy boredy bored.
Might get ready and go for a walk into town and get some fresh air - though will prob come back with more than just that.
I just don't want to sit in all day and eat, which I've been doing lately.
Frog, did you make any progress with your tidying up?0 -

Yes, house is looking lovely. I even did my filing yesterday too.
Just waiting to put new sheets on the bed and clean the bathrooms and all is well in the Butterfly apartment
Will need to go to the shop if I hear that Bym is coming today, otherwise I can manage with what is in the cupboards. No milk, but I can deal with that. I might make some bread in the breadmaker if I can get up off the sofa.
If Bym is not coming I have a WI meeting that I should be going to where there is an inspirational speaker - gosh, do I need that! Not Rachmaninov

Something has gone wrong with my bread - I know it is different flour, but it's not rising properly, so may turn out to be a doorstop!
I've made 3 phonecalls to banks and sorted my bank problems out.
My duvet cover is drying nicely in the tumble dryer.
I've not yet had anything to eat,
what else?
Oh yes, had a text from Bym - he's put his trip to London on hold for 2 weeks as he cannot afford to go, so he won't be visiting me after all.Not Rachmaninov
