Anglea, I am actually onroute to liverpool. I am on the same train 'line' so I could easily book some cheapo tickets to Liverpool.

From what I believe CL is from newcastle - she would be looking at two trains and about 3.5hours - however the cross country service she would be getting from newcastle would also be the same one zigs would be on fro Edinburgh waverley as below.
    Yup

Zigs - from her saying shes going into Aberdeen would have it the hardest IMO. She would need to leave Aberdeen at 6am to arrive by mid-day in Liverpool and it would be three trains for her though!! It may not be the easiest place for her :(
Everywhere is usually minimum 2 trains- don't mind it at all now:cool:

Anglea - train from Bristol - the cross country service would go through Bham where Frog would join you itd be two hours from Bham to Liverpool as you probs know :)

Am I sad that I have figured this out? lol.
    yes :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just as an idea - if any of you lot didnt fancy coming back the same day, we could always bunk over in a travel lodge or something in liverpool - at the liverpool one centre itself there is a travel lodge i think.
I understand the liverpool youth hostel is absolutely lovely! Will investigate further!
Do we have to dress like desperate scousewives:D?

If zigs feels its too far/too expensive, then would people be adverse to maybe newcastle? I know, itd be easier for CL but it would be a little easier to get to from the North of Scotland for Zigs, but alas very far for Anglea. its awakward!
newcastle is on a central line for me i think- the east coast line methinks- london kings cross to inverness?
Good deals if booked well in advance and maybe even on the caledonian sleeper which i love!

Personally however for me, it would need to be either the second friday of a month or prefereable on a saturday.

    what do you ladies think?

I am generally able to book any time off with little notice.

Now about this skype thing. I don't have it either. No webcam or mike- might be able to get a mike from home though.
    I'll download it tomorrow.
NG- i like the tv series idea BUT i would have to be edited out as i am most definitely NOT reformed YET!:p Working on it but not quite got it down pat!
Also i meant to Pm you facebook for that group so i'll just do that now before i forget again:o

    Hi all

Ziggles - did you remember to send the PM? Noticed you are not on the group yet.

I hope you are all ok. The weather has been really dreadful today and I had thought about going to Birmingham but decided against it.

Tomorrow I must get back on track again. I have not had a good sort out/tidy up since Christmas with everything else on my mind. Still it has taken my mind off my 'boys'

Went out last night for the first time and read some poems. Want to get more written soon, as I have been neglecting the creative area of my life for sometime. Think I will put another one up on facebook.

    Hi girls

I was telling MM on the phone last night that I wished for a life where all 'things to do' could be kept to a minimum. Some of the clutter problems are down to poor storage, but I have a fear or getting more cupboards and buying more stuff to fill it.

Or, is the latest clutter problem in my bedroom down to me ignoring it since Christmas ended?

Creativity - well done FR for reading your poetry in public, I'd never have the nerve to do it in that kind of environment...

I have been very lapse in my writing lately and as MM is visiting soon and we'll be discussing ideas for our book, I've been very sidetracked from my personal goals lately by online distractions or drama in the pubs..And the bad weather doesn't help make me feel like doing anything constructive..

Ziggles, I'm relieved you had a good time with your friend as I know you were concerned about her..

What are you all up to today?

    Hi Anglea

I'd rather read my poetry in public everyday than have to face the clutter that I have.

I was fine before Christmas - made sure I didn't leave the bedroom until it was tidy in the morning and ditto the living room before I went to bed. But my routine has all gone to pot.

My spare room looks like a bomb has hit it - I was chucking things in there to deal with later but no idea where a lot of things will go. I haven't begun anything today despite being up for a few hours. Having said that I had little sleep and have dozed off again a couple of times. I really need more energy.

So where to start? I'm a bit annoyed with some of the rubbish presents I got. A blow up perfect boyfriend anyone? A soap in the shape of a male torso? A whistle in the shape of a....use your imagination - and from family too!

I bought 2 bookcases but still have books and nowhere to put them. Having nice storage is good, but at the end of the day sometimes you have to say that you have too much stuff. It is a good job it is only me living here.

I have at least 4 missing hairbrushes around the house that I can't find and I swear I never take them out of the bedroom. But the holiday period is over and it is time that I got on with getting this place back into some kind of shape today and in doing so I might find them

    Hi girls,

FR at least it's not just me with the clutter and losing things. I'm wasting far too much time online rather than face my to do list.

Those presents are awful. Strange it was family that bought those suggestive items. You must all have a very open relationship.

Ziggles, I can imagine you might be feeling arkward with all those men arriving, it depends on what they are like it might not feel like home anymore. Especially if they invite friends back.

    .

Tidied most of two rooms, no hairbrushes found yet.

It was my eldest daughter who bought the presents - her idea of fun. Strangely enough her husband is a bit prudish. We do have quite an open relationship - and it is better to tell her things than let her find out as that has in the past put a strain on things.
