    Hi lovely CL :)

I didn't realise you were up north too.

Re us meeting up - what about a temporary idea in using skype? I don't have a webcam so you'd just hear me but it could be fun.

Just had another thought, DS often goes to Liverpool, in fact he went there last night for NYE.

Do any of you live near there - enroute maybe?

We need to plot our homes on a map - think me and NG will need to travel less if it is a central location. So long as it is on a train route, I'm fine

Anglea, I am actually onroute to liverpool. I am on the same train 'line' so I could easily book some cheapo tickets to Liverpool.

From what I believe CL is from newcastle - she would be looking at two trains and about 3.5hours - however the cross country service she would be getting from newcastle would also be the same one zigs would be on fro Edinburgh waverley as below.

Zigs - from her saying shes going into Aberdeen would have it the hardest IMO. She would need to leave Aberdeen at 6am to arrive by mid-day in Liverpool and it would be three trains for her though!! It may not be the easiest place for her :(

Anglea - train from Bristol - the cross country service would go through Bham where Frog would join you itd be two hours from Bham to Liverpool as you probs know :)

Am I sad that I have figured this out? lol.

Just as an idea - if any of you lot didnt fancy coming back the same day, we could always bunk over in a travel lodge or something in liverpool - at the liverpool one centre itself there is a travel lodge i think.

If zigs feels its too far/too expensive, then would people be adverse to maybe newcastle? I know, itd be easier for CL but it would be a little easier to get to from the North of Scotland for Zigs, but alas very far for Anglea. its awakward!

Personally however for me, it would need to be either the second friday of a month or prefereable on a saturday.

    what do you ladies think?

What did you think of the skype idea so we can have a chat in advance?

I'll have to talk about travel on FB for a particular reason relating to me

    Hi all,
I like the skype idea but I don't have a microphone or a webcam. But I will d/l it and see how it works.
I'm happy to travel, money permitting, as it's not as though I have a hectic schedule :/

    Hi all

CL if you have the right type of phone you can talk to anyone using it on their computer, that's how I got into it in the first place, MM was using his phone to speak to me when he didn't have internet access.
