    Typical

I do all my accounts only to find an email telling me to check my lottery ticket

Now I need to amend my figures to take into account I have won on last night's lottery

That must be a clue to the amount, not enough to hire a coach and pick everyone up on this thread and bring them to me :)

Yes - the ten little jumping people indicated a pound each

I'll keep trying and then if I ever hit the jackpot we can all celebrate together - wouldn't that be fun!

    Good afternoon ladies :)

Well here are 2012!!! - this thread began back in 2010.. so we must surely win an award on here for the longest running thread possible, we could even hae a tv programme made about this thread, what shall i do ladies, sent it to BBC? can you imagin that lol. The 'reformed shoppaholics' ladies graced the red carpets in London last night for the debuet performance of 'reformed shoppaholics' NGlady as she is commonly known wore.... Anglea.... CL.... Frog... Zigs.... etc wore.

    Ok maybe not lol.

Well - happy new year to you all ladies!!

I hope that this year brings you each at least one of your big wishes if not more! I am going to achieve a lot this year I hope.

So here are my year goals:
    • Be Debt free - the person who is responsible for some of my debt has finally taken ownership of the problem, and he is intending to pay me back £50 per month until the debts gone. Which I am happy with, I need to tart this store card ASAP and get it interest free. When that happens, that debt will be gone by next new years. My other debt will be also gone by next new years and my very account for my bedroom furniture is interest free until September anyway, and I have a standing order for this so itll be gone before it can be counted as 'real debt' anyway.
    • Loose some weight - currently, a size 18. I need to be saying 'currently a size 16' by next new years.
    • Learn how to drive get passed and get my own wheels :)
    • Be a happier more positive person.
I woke up this morning with an hangover. God knows how i only had four g and Ts last night, and there was only about a cm of gin, and i filled the tall glass up with tonic. But it was worth watching the new year in with my dad both a bit tipsied up.

Ok 12 and a half hours into the year 750 minutes... 524850 to go. And ive not brought any clothes yet ;) woohoo. Im sure!

Got a couple of final refunds and exchanges to do tomorrow. Still debating whether the cash from the refund counts as part of the challange or if it doesnt. Iv also got 30quid left from a xmas pressie i recieved, took back and was told to keep the cash until i see something i want, so got to debate whether that counts as part of my challange or if it doesnt. Thing is, by having these exceptions im risking the challange already... on the 1st of January lol.
  • Reading and running at the moment - happy new year all!

    Same to you FE xxxxxxxxxxx

NGlady, I like the way you have written 'I am going to achieve a lot' - it's a really positive statement.

What else could you do with that 30 pounds?

If any of us win a lot of money we could pick a venue central to us all and hire limousines with a bar to take us there. Of course it must stock Amaretto.
  • Happy New Year to you all xxx
Well done on your win, Frog. Every little helps. Shame it's not enough to pay for the meet that Anglea has planned for us :P We really are spread so far across the country... I'm way up north too, though not as far as ziggles.

As for NY resolutions, I'm not making any :) I never keep them anyway!
