Hi girls
CL there was a time I'd nearly permanently have a bandage round my ankle although the cause was heels and being under the influence!
In recent years I sometimes feel a bit uneasy on surfaces in shops eg Iceland. Even MM nearly caused me to fall over..
If you are reading MM, be careful next week.
So I'm wondering CL what you might be doing that is making you trip so much, I can understand ice, but in the house are you distracted?.
I got the results of all my blood tests today, B12, liver, cholesterol, iron and folate - all normal.
Something I was doing before Christmas regulated the cholesterol. Good thing I didn't have the test after it.
CL, do you have to get any more tests done in the future?

Thanks for your reply CL. How is everyone today?
I stayed in and was ok until a short while ago, I was having a very confusing and worrying conversation then received 2 calls from ex. Then I became angry with DS over a strange matter - curtains. Sometimes it's the really small things that can send us over the edge.0 -
Hi Anglea
I was so glad that I made it to my aqua class today - but I didn't do any lengths, will save that till Monday.
Then I went to shopping at Sainsburys - it was 5 by the time I got home and after a lengthy phonecall I had tea and have settled down to read all the updates on here
Friday all ready - twelfth night, and I haven't yet taken the tree down
Hope you've calmed down, I know what you mean about the little things - but now the only things that annoy me seem to be some of the stupid things I read about on MSE - tried to contribute as best I could to the Vegan thread, but some of the contributors are almost at each other's throats! Not Rachmaninov

Hi Fr
Yes, I'm fine now. DS gave me my Christmas present earlier on, he didn't give it at the time as he'd been feeling so low. I'm really pleased as it's the type of book I really appreciate.
Are you keeping off the vegan thread now?
I had a marathon phone session last night, supposed to be getting a call later. I'm drinking some Pimms and coke.
I have to go out tomorrow, look for some curtains, nothing exciting
FR, I'll be posting a tree until you take yours down

Yes Anglea, I think I will give up on the Vegan thread now - I've said what I wanted to say.
Perhaps I will take the tree down tonight, I once kept it up all year! I think I took the decorations off, don't remember now.
I don't need curtains in this house as I have blinds. Hope you find some nice ones.
Tomorrow I am going to my eldest daughter's house for an 'overs' party. She has one every year, and gets people to bring their leftovers from Christmas! Not Rachmaninov

Hi all,
Hope you're enjoying you weekend. What are you all up to?
I have a few things to do... mostly boring stuff... just need to clear up as right now my bedroom floor is non-existent and it's getting me down.
Did two of three phonecalls that I needed to do. Still need to do the third, which I am not looking forward to.
Sorely tempted by something in the sales... had my eye on them for ages and now they're half price, but I really can't justify spending £75 on earrings. Someone talk some sense into me.0 -
Hi Ladies
I'm at the parentals...again!
Still unwashed and in my jammies as usual. Slept all day cos i had a massive headache.
I am in the process of getting a new place to live. I get onto the lease too which is a step in the right direction.
I feel you on the phonecalls CL- i hate making calls where i need to initiate contact- makes me all nervous. Affects me at work too- especially when there are other people listening!:o
As for the £75 earrings- really woman- NO, NO, NO! That is like my total clothes spend for a year! And if I bought them i'd promptly lose one! Lets have a pic then! I hope they're diamond studded:cool:Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Hello everyone
I've been to the pub for lunch and got asked out again by one of the people from ages ago, I told them I was taken..
On that subject I'm seeing MM on Monday.
Ziggles I hope you feel better x xx
CL - we need to see those earrings. What about using them as a reward for making the calls?
Didn't find any curtains, the household shop has shutdown and there was a only one pack of curtains in another shop so I looked in a charity shop, right size but dodgy pattern.

If any of you need any tips about Liverpool, let me know. The YHA is a decent enough hostel and you can get dorms small enough to accommodate a small group, ie 4 people, so no need to worry about sharing with total randoms. I enjoyed a brief shopping trip there with NG a couple of years ago.0
