    Hi all

Completelylost - if you buy this T-shirt - will it be different from your 200 ;) odd others? 200 - hope I'm not right LOL

And what was so important at Body Shop I have to ask?

Since yesterday my son from the care home is on a visit so it's been cafes non stop and lots of cakes. Also got a toffee cheesecake defrosting for later:mad:
I was a bit stunned how much money I spent eating out Thursday and today, far more than normal.

I was thinking about this forum while looking through the mags in the cafe, seeing if I could see any of the clothes etc you're all talking about.

:oLet me know when you guys are ready to talk about shoes! LOL :D:D:D

That won't be with me as I live in trainers (dodgy feet)

There was a time before my feet went to pot, that I used to have stacks of lovely shoes and matching bags and had to keep all the spares in my summerhouse in suitcases!

When ex first came to my house (when I was young) he was stunned when I opened the wardrobe and he saw the floor to ceiling shoe boxes!

In honesty, i very rarely buy anything that isnt i nthe sale lol. x

Are people sale shopping because they love bargain hunting or because of lack of money? For me it's lack of money. I love nice clothes but can't afford the sort of clothes I like at full price. So I make a limited budget stretch as far as possible with sale buys.
... Primark's are £13 and they come apart at the seams after one wash!)!!

I rarely pay full price at Primark either! I search through the sale rails there too! Today I got 2 plain longline tops there for €1 each RRP €6 each.

Dune if I had the money and for special occasions.

I spend more on shoes than on clothes but I don't have that many shoes. Real Uggs, converse, havanian flip flops and flat leather boots (TK Maxx) are my capsule shoe wardrobe. I always have a few pairs of Primark ballet flats around the place as well but I don't like cheap shoes much as they are uncomfortable.

I have heels from Karen Millen, Dune and a pair of (fake:o) Laboutin's with the red soles from ebay.

Was just thinking my tights/stockings are sometimes the most expensive thing I'm wearing:o Often the dress will have cost €5/7 on a sale rail and the tights will have cost €12 (70 or 80 denier opaques).

Edited to add: This thread needs pictures (like the toiletries thread)!

Oooooh, well, I loooooove Carvela and Kurt Geiger and this is where most of my money goes. I bought a pair of KG that were once £400 for £89 in the sale. The shoes are usually around the £140 mark but in their sale you can pick them up for around £50. I also love Office and Dune but their sales for me are not as good. I'm a size 4 and this seems to sell out soooo quickly as well! I also buy shoes from topshop and wherever does something I like.

I'm currently working up the courage to buy a pair of louboutins but I don't think i'm quite ready yet!:o

Now I just need to wear them all more often as they are all party shoes and my day shoes are c rap! lol:o

I tend to stick with sale shopping for the fact that in a lot of the high street shops especially in places like oasis etc, something is on the new section at the start of one month a lot of the time by the end of the next its like 90% off lol. So I guess its a case of lack of money to buy the stuff i love, so I wait to stretch my money :)

I would love to one day go down to my best friends in London, drag her into Harrods and buy a pair of designer shoes :) Hopefully next year :)

  • I love the Autograph shoes in M+S.

I buy in the sales because I should not be spending any money at all on myself as I have more than enough of everything to last me.
Up until now I have kidded myself about the money that I have saved and not thought about the money I have spent.
I think I buy new things to try to be attractive. I don't know who exactly I am trying to impress. My dh is certainly not impressed by clothes.

I do wear really high heels most of the time but I really need to find some inner soles to make them more comfortable. Any ideas? ( Think I might have asked you all this before) The party gel things just don't do the trick. I have got to do something about the burning feeling in the balls of my feet before the Summer comes.
I love boots, I have about 10 pairs of knee highs and as many ankle boots. You will be glad to hear that I don't have any thigh high ones, at my age. I can be a bit mutton done up as lamb but even I would not push it that far:D
