Souk08 - You work for Coast. Well I suddenly have a vacancy for a new best friend lol.
I love Warehouse - but I inted to be more Oasis. If this doest sound daft, I think Oasis is more girlie clothes, and Warehouse is more urbany style, ad Coast more sophisticated lady? Does that make sence to anybody else or just me?
Yes this makes perfect sense to me.This is how I view them. I am to old now for Oasis and Warehouse but I think at 45 I can still wear Coast:)0 -
That's alright, my sarky sense of humour as well!!! I have discount and I still wait for the sales too as like I said earlier in the thread I would rather do stuff than have stuff. This means I get stuff for next to nothing a few times a year. I'm a right tight b****!!!
No you'r not your a savvy shopper. That's the best kind there is. I bet your wardrobe is to die for:)0 -
salesaddict... i just discovered Stila when i ordered some stuff 2 months ago from brandalley.. 1 moisturzing foundation and 1 concealer( i sold it on ebay as it was too dark ).
I use mineral make up but i am loving this foundation.... i feel like i want to try different things but i have no stila counter next to me and the names ( i mean shades are a bit weird so i get confused) do not say much about the colors.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -

Hello Morocha,
I don't want to lead you into temptation but there is not one item of their range that is bad. Even when the colours look odd in the palette they are just so beautiful on.Anyway forget I mentioned them. (The cheapest prices are on Brandalley when they have a 3 day sale)0 -
Hey ladies off today, no worries re the job Salesaddict! I didn't take offence. Just thought I'd better declare what I did in case I ever get accused of doing anything to bring in business iyswim.
To add my tuppence to the Stila chat, it's an Aussie brand I think (could be wrong) and my sis lives in Oz and posted me some for Xmas! It was a set of 8 lipglosses and a lovely eyecolour! Even better it didn't come in time so i got it ages later when I was cold and hacked off and it cheered me up no end. I love expensive make up but that has been another casualty of my new frugal lifestyle. I bought No 7 foundation when there was a voucher AND it was on 3 for 2 AND I had a £20 voucher which I got for my bday to get it with. Told you I was tight!'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
^I'd say you're more sensible than tight. I am quite good with vouchers - I try to get things for as cheap as I possibly can (student discount... vouchers from surveys... etc).
Anyway g'd afternoon,
How are you all doing? Hopefully there are no unnecessary spends to be reported.
I'm currently debating whether or not I should sprint into town and post some parcels, and also buy a tshirt I've been eyeing up in George @ Asda. I keep thinking about it, it's tormenting me and I reckon I won't be happy until I have it.
Also spent £8.50 on the body shop web site earlierI still have £180's worth of things that could be returned... I feel like everytime I buy something new, I have to return something I've bought previously.

Ooooooh shoptalk, i love it
.:j
Zara: I like a lot, key pieces wear very well. A bit pricey tho! Think i need to buy more stuff from there.
Newlook: Getting a bit on the expensive side these days but there is always a bargain to be had. I have a lot of stuff from here as its one of the few places to go at lunchtime
Warehouse: One of my faves, good for the smart look. I have a few party dresses and wedding dresses from here. Also a few smart trousers.
Coast: I have a couple of dresses from here but only for weddings and special occasions. Nice treat now and again and usually a good sale.
House of Fraser: Another lunctime shopping store, not good for my bank balance
River Island: I buy bits and bobs, but mainly accessories from here
Oasis: I like it but its a but toppy as well.
Also when did shoes become £100? I remember when i used to pay £50 for a pair of shoes that thought that was really expensive!!! Some stores do have a cheek in the prices they charge! Why is warehouse charging me £100 for a dress? That is a "coast price" dress and if i wanted to spend that much i would go to coast (or karen millen, Reiss etc etc). But i still buy it:(:o

I just can't justify spending loads on clothes or I wont have cash to go out! I tend to wait til Oasis/Warehouse etc have a sale then wait for final reductions then get a further third off on my group discount so I buy dresses for £6, belts for £5 etc! I get such a buzz from this. If money were no object I would shop at Zara more but find the stuff to be small, especially tops on my boobs. Also the prices they charge in this country stick in my throat as I know they are much cheaper in their native Spain. Mango is the same. I love it and it was next to my old Warehouse shop but I rarely went in as I just get too excited and it's not going on a card, I'm cash only these days!'The road to a friends house is never long'0
