    Hi all

Morocha I like those thin biscuits too. What is worrying is that there are 'creams' versions of them e.g. Nice with cream. (mouthwatering as I type)

Completelylost - 4 bags of snacks LOL. you've done well on your shopping today

I'm getting annoyed with myself for the amount of cakes I've been buying lately, I think it's getting out of hand. Before I'd only eat on a Sunday visiting ex inlaws or if my children are on a visit.like today - went to the cafe and had tea and scones. Later on I passed the bakers and bought some more. I've already got a frozen cheesecake for tomorrow (mainly for son) so didn't need more cake for today did I? But nowadays I'm having cakes everyday instead of just occasional treats. Last week I ate 2 of those Soreen malt loaves spread with butter in one go!!.

Swapping one addiction for another I think. :(
I am a complete failure when it comes to dieting. I'm doomed to being fat for eternity.

I have never tried Soreen, it always looked too healthy for me to snack on :o I know...I'm terrible. But I know what you mean about swapping one addiction for another!
I love Stila. I think I must have all their products now because of brandalley. I was so relieved it is all sold out. Although I do think I have learned my lesson there. It is the best make up though isn't it?

I don't think I have ever tried Stila. I always see it in TJ Hughes though... it's pretty cheap in there. I like the look of their lip products but I have about 20 lipglosses that I need to use up before I buy anymore. edit to add: I lied! I've just checked and I actually have a Stila lip glaze - I don't ever remember buying it (or using it, for that matter).

Ok well I had a semi successful day today.
    So
Todays budget was £15 as I had to go into Nottingham and I only spend £2 yesterday I think :S
    Bus fare £4.80
Pizza hut - i know i know. Bargain though nice dish of pasta, a portion of wedges a large coke and a sliver of cheesecake - a fiver :)

Ok so returned a ring that came broken.

Returned at the £1.92 - but the Debenhams lady made me exchange so had to put an extra £1.08 towards

Returned a coast clutch £47 coming back to me.

Brought some boots from Debenhams £26 - used voucher from Debenhams recieved for a complaint made, and £19 from some shoes. Leaving £3, so put an extra £1 in and brought a box of chocolates towards mothers day parcle. Boots as kind of necessary, my heels wearing down on my present ones, and as I have fat legs, very rare I find some boots that fit properly when ive got leggings on :)

Did have a moment of weakness in Coast though - £15. However I think I have an item or two to return to make up for it :) Plus it is a lovely pink coral colour, and fantastic sleeves so it will look really lovely for a job interview. Did however put a gorgeous jacket back in Newlook and a pretty shirt and a basque and another skirt which would have added up to £14 which isnt bad, but £14 to live in my wardrobe isnt good (buy one get one free on sale stock in notts branch :O)

    Total spend = £26.88

Not tooo bad - will return rest of Debenhams purchases via courier though to avoid this.

Well done for putting the things back in New Look.
As for your moment of weakness... at least you have taken things back to compensate for it. And as it's for a job interview, it's more of an investment really (that's how I'd justify it anyway :o).
    ============
I almost went into the shop on the way home tonight. I know I would have spent a fiver on magazines and food that I don't need, so I walked the other way home to avoid it.

I'm now browsing on ebay... really I should be listing things  There are a few things on my 'watch' list that are tempting me.
  • Please tell me you don't pay full price for these things:o
I know you weren't asking me, but I always think that if I wait for things (usually clothes) to be reduced then the chances are they won't have one left in my size. I'm not really one for sale shopping - I like toiletry bargains, but I'd say most of my clothing purchases are full price items OR second hand.

    , oasis warehouse and coast.

Of those 3 Warehouse is my favourite. But they are all expensive. The reality is that most people shop at Primark except for us lot who shop in nicer places but only pay Primark prices.

I agree with you. TBH I don't think I have bought anything from any of those three shops in my life. Although I am not much of a Primark shopper either (I wish I could shop there, but a lot of their things are not long enough for me, and their shoes only go up to an 8 - I take a 9.5). I tend to stick with middle of the road high street shops, like New Look, Dorothy Perkins, Zara, etc.

Souk08 - You work for Coast. Well I suddenly have a vacancy for a new best friend lol.

Mags I agree with you, I try and shop in those places and only pay primark prices, this includes waiting or the sales mainly. I know store cards are really frowned upon, but, with the Oasis VIP card if you want an item when it goes into the sale, all you do is ring the Call centre, they will locate the dress/top for you and you call the store that has got it. You give your store card number over the phone and they post it you for no postage charge. Obviously ring and pay off straight away.

I would love to be able to shop in primark but im a funny size there and it really doesnt flatter me at all :( Love some of their accessories though.

I love Warehouse - but I inted to be more Oasis. If this doest sound daft, I think Oasis is more girlie clothes, and Warehouse is more urbany style, ad Coast more sophisticated lady? Does that make sence to anybody else or just me?

I do shop middle road a lot of the time :) I've never brought anything from Zara in the UK only ever in Spain. The sizes seem more friendly there :S lol.

Ahh right, I get you :rotfl:Typical of me to miss the joke. I'm tired, that's my excuse.

I loveeee Zara, though the one in the city near me has recently closed down :( So if I want to go there it takes about an hour to drive to the nearest one. I find their sizing quite generous actually, and they sell the best basics ever - really good quality and fairly cheap (e.g. their long length cardigans are £18-20 and they wash very well... Primark's are £13 and they come apart at the seams after one wash!) I really need to go to Zara some time soon - I haven't been since November!!

I brought two of those boyfried cardigens from Tenerife last July, there still in fab condition!
I brought a cream mac from Lanzarote in Jan 09 - still in fantastic quality yet worn loads.
I may need to take another look round Zara when I need some more basics. Perhaps I have just been trying the wrong things on :)

That's alright, my sarky sense of humour as well!!! I have discount and I still wait for the sales too as like I said earlier in the thread I would rather do stuff than have stuff. This means I get stuff for next to nothing a few times a year. I'm a right tight b****!!!
