What are you going to pick for your challenge this month?

    Ideas -

    1. catch up with financial updates
    2. sort wardrobes and drawers
    3. sell or charity shop unwanted items
    4. find a new image
    5. buy or do what is necessary (beat procrastination)
    6. working towards a goal
    7. saving a set amount of money this month
    8. Christmas preperations
    9. no more toiletries or books or make up

Or anything else you fancy doing. (meeting a FWB :))

FR - I hope one day you find a decent bloke that is around for you.

    Thanks Anglea

To be honest, I'm not looking and gave up dating sites ages ago. If it happens, it happens. I'm not going out much at the moment (turning into a hermit) and have spent the day cooking and listening to CD's. I'm trying to look after myself, eating more healthily (given up crisps and chocolate until Christmas) and trying to go swimming 3 times a week (but missed today)

Well, if I don't look after myself no one else will. Have spent too long not caring enough.

I'm off to the cinema tonight - free preview tickets of course.

Hi CL, what are you going to see? I'm planning to go to the cinema tomorrow, but no free tickets. Lucky you

I'm off to see Midnight in Paris, Woody Allen

    Hello my lovelies

FR that's a good idea to look after yourself as best you can.

Just now at home I had a marathon clothes trying on session wore myself out LOL and didn't even get all them out. Put different items together to make a couple of new outfits, but only 2 amongst the hundreds of possibles is a bit embarassing. Things just don't seem to go together.

I had lots of brand new that fit but didn't looik right, one was a long top the hem is supposed to be different lengths. I remember I loved it in the shop. Looks awful with jeans so I might use it as a nightdress :)

Lots more to try on at a later time.

    How's everyone?

Hi. like your list. I'm going for a new image and have worn jewellery for the last 2 days

Today I was complimented on my necklace by my friend's boyfriend, so that was nice.

Also I'm going for some early nights

    Hi guys

what a week- not had an evening in new place all week yet! Soo busy and tired.
Crazy landlady denied me my last £100 for something i know she is not telling the truth about but i did not argue as i want nothing more to do with her. I met the neighbor last night and he told me some stuff about her- but pinch of salt taken as they clearly hate each other A LOT! even if what he told me makes her behaviour make sense now!

Off to Dundee tomorrow- not int he mood but i shall fake it til i make it on the train.;)

Thanks for the ideas! I think those four are good ones for me.
With toiletries I need to use up what I've got before buying anymore.

Continue to clear out - last month was a great month, I made £497 :j so will aim to sell as much as I can again. Also there are a few items that need to be aken to the tip, like old electricals and holey old clothing. I keep hanging onto them, who knows why?!

Wear things that I already have! And if I buy anything, make sure it's different to the things I already own (colour/style-wise). And winter appropriate!!!

Also I rejigged my spends and they're better than I thought for Oct:
    Driving related: £76
New chair: £36 (mine broke months ago)
    All other spends: £175

    Hi girls

Crikey CL, you made a lot of money!!!! What on earth did you sell?

So what kind of new image are you after?

Ziggles, hope you are enjoying Dundee away from your hassles. How did you enjoy the religious course?

Bed at midnight. That's a good one to try. I'd find it really hard.

I've been wearing my new skirt lately and also bought 2nd pair of jeans yesterday although I need to get some long sleeved cardigans or zip ups to go with them, the colours that suit me are orange/red/ salmon or one type of pink that is hard to find. Nowadays most colours are dark or greys whenever I look.

I spotted something unusual from Per Una that could be worn over the long top that was a bad buy I found in the cupboard earlier in the week. So I might wear my top to the shops and try the PU over it.

Need some more items, but far less than I originally believed.

What I'm finding now is that most things I try on are too big, even the jeans I bought could have been smaller but a size down were too tight.

    Happy Monday peeps!
Back from Dundee. Nice weekend away pampering and shopping (didn't spend much only got a pair of pumps, a primarni scarf and a xmas pressie for a friend)- but i tell you folks- i am not a very tolerant person these days. I'm going to have to do something about it or i'll have no friends!:o
@Anglea- the course was very interesting- it was very helpful but not in the way i expected at all- i almost thought i hadn't read up properly on what it was about on the first night! The stepmonster had to explain it to me in simple language- I wasn't the only one though a fair few people thought it was a bit higher grade and too specific and one angry man didn't come back after telling them this in a Q&A session!
Also if that is a stripy cardi with funny buttons from Per Una i cannot speak to you anymore- i have a pathological dislike for them cardis (i do love a nice cardi though) they seem to be the preserve of granola grannies, social workers and community type nurses!;)

    Hi all

Ziggles glad you had a good time, so what's going on with all this irritation with people what were they doing?

LOL, no the PU item wasn't a cardie. It was a long top, very unusual, hard to describe. Round neck, not fabric but a sort of mesh so I thought it could go over the very long (but doesn't look right) top in a similar colour I've got at home. I tried to find it on the website to show you but couldn't.
