CL ah! i live in a rural area, so mine is lovely and everything in the right place, i hate the ones in London, everythings is all over the place and there is so many people, i cant breathe.
online they have some nice things, but odd sizes or only 1 of that item.

  • I never realised that they had a web site.
Ours has such odd stuff in it... I wonder where they get half of it from! It looks more like it belongs in a charity shop :S

Oh.so.bored. I should be ebaying, but instead I'm procrastinating...

LOL Frog... oh dear, what a mistake to make! If you don't feel up to hosting 11 people I'd let her know!!! Pretend you were sleep-texting or something :P

We've decided it will be a buffet and she will bring some things along. I'm sure it will be ok on the day, and it will be nice for all the family to be together. Mine is the bigger place to host it anyway.

  • Hi all,

I've had the worst 24 hours of my life... I feel as though my world has fallen apart.

Funeral people are downstairs and I can't face talking to them at all. I feel useless, leaving others to deal with it.

I can't believe they're gone. Just like that. With no warning, no time to prepare. No decline in health. Even the doctors can't explain it. I feel physically sick and the feeling won't go away.

The next few days will be a challenge. Sorry for such a gloomy post, I just needed to vent.

I hope you ladies are doing better than me.

    xxxx

    Thanks ladies.
I feel marginally better than I did earlier. A very close relative has died... and I still don't believe it. The person was in such good spirits but then to come home after a day in town, and find them in such a horrific state, is something I'll never forget. I can't accept that it's just "one of those thing" as surely people don't just die for no reason??? They can't even tell us what caused it.

I've spent the entire day in bed avoiding everyone. Everyone seems uneasily calm and emotionless, and I'm the wreck and can't look anyone in the eye without breaking down. Usually it's the other way around.

Life goes on I suppose. I've been through it all before, but last time it was more of a lingering thing where the person was ill for a long time.

Back on track with the thread. I really don't want to make it all depressing. I'm going to settle down and watch I'm a Celeb later and eat a whole tube of Revels.

eta: it's not on tonight. Oh well.

    BIG HUGE HUGS FOR YOU

Thats all I can say - I am so sad to hear your news.

Remember please there is no accepted way for you to deal with this, you deal with it in whatever way feels natural to you, and if that involves having a big tub of chocolates and a day in bed then thats more than acceptable, if its getting out and doing stuff thats more than acceptable to.

I havnt really been in this situation before so i dont really know what to say to you, but bless your heart x

CL you do seem in a state of shock.

When something like this happened over year ago I went into declutter mode for about 3 weeks.

You get a terrible feeling in the pit of your stomach and nothing seems real.

If going to bed and having choccies is the way to cope, then do it.
