And now we resume normal transmission....
Hi guys
How are we all doing?
I'm slowly getting packed- got a busy few days coming up- got acourse on Thurs night, fri and sat. then move on sun.I have a work meeting next wed and i have to give a 15 minute training session- VERY nervous! I'm not very good at public speaking but at least it's something i know well- even if it is above my pay grade!:p
Nglady and CL- I don't know how you keep track.
I still have my shopping head on but i have managed to empty every virtual basket so far
@CL- i know what you mean about not achieving much this year (except moving out for me). I feel like i need to do something BIG in 2012. Not sure what but i'm thinking.:cool:Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Morning,
ziggles, I know what the sort of people you mean. There's being upfront, and then there's being downright RUDE and BLUNT. It's sad that some people can't differentiate between the two... Easy for me to say, but try not to let them wind you up. Enjoy your two days of freedom anyway!
Yeah NG I remember you saying about Faith. I've actually looked through my account and worked out what the problem is. The £120 is a payment that DP forgot to taken, from September! So that explains. I do wonder why it took them a month to realise though.
They've now refunded my £42, but I'm still missing £78 from another return (which I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't done a zillion rechecks!!!) Grrrrrrrrr. I'm not looking forward to explaining this to the shop assistant0 -
Hi girls
Sorry for those of you caught up in returns monetary hassles.
CL what colour is the cardigan?
Ziggles, you poor thing. Hope your course can distract you from everything and you get your packing done in time.
The paperwork - ex's forms to look over.
I had a worrying dream recently where I received a massive package in the post, it was the largest and poshest folder you can ever imagine containing all the paperwork from the solicitor and including the bill and I remember being panic stricken how much it must have cost just for the folder, let alone everything else.0 -
Hel guys!
@CL- I wish i had the balls to just come out and say exactly what yo said. nfortunately- looks can be very deceiving and i am a coward and extremely conflict averse.:o
@Anglea- it's a Christian course on Hearing God as i have struggled with that in the past and even more so now.
Anyone watch Waterloo road- OMG! I am never having kids is school is like that these days!:eek::eek:
in other news- FB has made contact and yup you guessed it. I can't say no:o Yes i have no shame and i'm a mess but you know what- right now i don't care:cool:
feel free to remind me when i am complaining abot whatever happens next- probably the never ending breakfast issue! Althogh i have told him i will bring my own in future. Not his mind- just mine:DBlessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
Hi all
Perhaps you need a FB to take your mind off things Ziggles. I'll try not to tell you off about itLoneliness isn't nice thing, there are only so many distractions before you find yourself going mad.
Waterloo Road, I've just watched it. The kids were well behaved compared to usual!
Hope you like your course. Never know who might attend, man of your dreams maybe unless it's all women.
I could do with a knight in shining armour myself even though I always make out as though I don't.0 -
Hello again
I just had a really strange 'blast from the past', message just now from someone I hadn't spoken to in years. It was really synchronistic too because of what I've been obsessing about in recent weeks.
Did I ever mention here about the ex b/f that was now famous but had written about me in a very unpleasant way in his earlier books? He seemed to think I'd be ok about itBecause I came across his name recently it brought up old wounds, and I couldn't stop googling to see if I could find out more about the one I was in - I didn't know the title as it wasn't published at that time when I saw what he was doing.
The person that contacted me was someone I knew from the old days and I could trust to talk about the matter in detail.0 -
Oh my- would our Anglea be the subject of a privacy injunction if these were her younger days????LOL
This man sounds like them 'straight/upfront' people i was ranting about- why would you be ok with being bad mouthed!
My you do have an interesting past- you must tell us about it in detail one day- i want to meet you even more now. It would be so cool to all be in one place getting the low down on each other!Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30 -
LOL Ziggles, if we all met up I think we'd be talking non-stop0
-
Hi all
CL - just how annoying is that
Oh I deffo agree, I think if we all met up we would be a force to be rekoned with! I think we would have quiet a few interesting stories each to hear!0 -
Hi all,
Well I think I may just be developing my first cold for this winter. I have basically slobbed around all day, and sneezed. Nice. Fingers crossed it doesn't escalate into a full-blown cold. It feels more like bad hayfever?!
The cardigan is this one, in brown:

It's warm, but makes me look a bit frumpy. I reckon I'll probably keep it because right now being warm is most important!
Anglea, your stories get more and more intriguing! Fancy being written about in a book... were you Amy Childs of your time? Haha, I'm kidding
It would be pretty cool to meet you all. I'd probably just sit and listen to all your stories, as I don't have much to add myself!0
