    Hi all

Lovely to see you back CL.

CBB -If I was in there I'd probably fall out with Darren, Jedward and Kerry just from what I've seen of the footage. Who would have have problems with?

Shopaholic books - I can relate to desperately wanting things and telling white lies which can snowball out of control.

I remember the infamous time there was something I had to have. B/f didn't understand so I made up an elaborate story about a bad work situation. I worked away from home and he had no idea where.

So you can imagine how I felt the day he turned up drunk at my work, very angry and threatening to beat up my boss!

How about you NGlady? What are your traits?
  • Ohhhhh, I hate Darryn with passion! I don't like Bobby or Tara at all, and Amy just annoys me as she comes across as false.

I feel really sorry for Pamela as I think they all target her because she is so nice and forgiving -- sadly, they see it as a weakness. I like Paddy, Kerry, Lucien & Jedward. I mean, how could anyone not like Jedward? LOL.

I've just got in from town. I felt really self conscious today, no idea why! I only went out to post some parcels but had a quick look in Debenhams and a couple of other places. Managed to resist KFC though it took some willpower :o:o I'm not trying to lose weight, I just need to quit eating so much (expensive) rubbish. It's not good for me or my mood.

CL I wonder why you were self conscious, in a guilty way do you mean or you thought people were looking at you?

I like Pamela too, shock eviction tonight, hope it's not her.

I don't know if I've missed bits or it's the editing, but I haven't noticed her doing any psychobabble. And as for being nominated for name dropping, I think Kerry is far worse, on the first night she was talking about how famous she is and in every magazine and paper. I remember Bobby's expression when he heard. The papers make fun of her with their condescending articles and the readers comments are nasty most of the time.
  • Still not following CBB. Just not getting into it whenever i do watch bits of it.
Welcome back CL You've been out an about quite a bit recently- wich i were you- even a day out would be good if i had the energy!
@NG only ever watched the movie so had no idea what the traits are- googled them though- but i suspect i'm a food shopaholic! I do tend to hide purchases fro the stepmum and brother though as they alwasy comment on how i must have loads of mullah to be shopping so!
@CL- i entered one of those ballot things for cheap tickets on the SECC website and then forgot about it then got an email in June to say i got through so here i a- not that interested in award shows but it'll be something noce to go to and wear one of my dresses to! I tink you can just buy tickets too though like everything- i'm sure they go real fast!
@ Anglea- how did he find out where you worked??? I have a tendency to tell porkies too mainly to explain away why i'm so poor, fat, tired, in a rubbish job, can't be bothered going out etc.

Must go to bed- i'm anxious abot work tomorrow because the issues we're having are going to be brought up and i hate dealing with these things. Will report on the oucome- not sure what kind of reaction to expect at all:(

  • Hi all,

Anglea: I have no idea why I felt self-conscious. I think maybe the painkillers I took made me feel spaced out - like I wasn't really there - which made me panicky!

ziggles: thanks for explaining about the mobo tickets. It's my dream to win tickets to something like the Baftas... I've been trying for years and have won everything except tickets, lol. One day!!!!!

As for being out-&-about a lot, well, it certainly makes a change for me tbh. But can't carry on doing this, as money is eventually going to run out and I need to start acting like a responsible adult :( Boo indeed. Could you not arrange to go for a day out or do you just not have the time? I'm sure one nice day would improve the way you feel... might even help you to stop thinking about your desparate work situation (even temporarily)?

Hmm, I know most people probably think I'm weird and insane, but I reeeeally want some heels (just small ones). If you were over 6ft would you still wear heels? I don't know where this sudden obsession has come from, but I saw a lovely pair of low wedges and want them... but I know I will look like a 6ft4 giant in them. Should I care? People look at me because I'm massively tall anyway, so I'm thinking that another few inches won't make any difference...

I know a lot about feeling spaced out recently- not a great feeling if you have to be at work-being productive!
As for the responsible adult thing- oh no- as long as you're not hurting anyone- including yourself and your future- do what you like! Which also goes for the heels- if they'll make you feel beautiful then do it.Never mind them peeps looking at you :p Heels always make me feel a lot more attractive/good about myself.

I am trying to get out for the day (been out and about for the day/afternoon over the last 2 weekends with the monster) but at this point i just want to hibernate:o. Feels like depression but I am NOT depressed- just weary.

    Hi all

this post is going to sound rubbish, been to the pub and planning to go out again this evening

I'm having these men that keep asking me out, how the hell can you say no with someone understanding. They can't seem to take the hint.

I'll probably see them again tomorrow. Cant believe I'm moaning about this. If they were fit then it would be another matter.

CL painkillers -was it solpadeine, they're addictive and can make you feel high.

Why not wear high heels? Think Brigette Nielsen and Sally Bercow, especially as you love BB.

More of Darryn in the house, he didn't go.
  • LOL Anglea - oh to have that problem must be quite flattering, no? Unless they're harrassing you, which is a different matter! I hope you have a good time, anyway.

I did wonder how tall Sally Bercow was... as she always looked tall and I noticed that she wore heels. I know she's not old, but I'd love to look as good at her age. Hmmm, I may start with a 1-inch heel and see how I feel!

Today I feel accomplished... I managed to run for a whole 55-minutes. That's my personal best :) And I walked for the remaining 5-mins. I did go on to eat 3x danish pastries afterwards... good job I'm exercising for fitness rather than to lose weight :o

BTW Anglea, how are you doing with your clothing challenge? I know you mentioned it a few posts ago, but are you ready to embrace the misfits, or are most of them being ditched?

Oh & the painkillers weren't solphadine (don't contain codeine - I know codeine is eeeevil stuff), they're ones I got from the doctor, for period pain. They hardly even work though, they just make me feel worse tbh. I'm better off with iburofen.

Well done on your run, not sure what to say about the cakes LOL Sorry that you're not feeling well.

Sally B. I don't know if she's tall as such but she's much bigger than her OH.

Clothing challenge - wore my jeans again today :) but still got 2 skirts that are tightish. I've got over a week to go until my deadline.

That bloke today was persistent, must have asked about 6 times if not more. He'll never get a YES out of me however.

This evening I went elsewhere. I had a most unpleasant job to deal with beforehand so needed to get out, DS was sick. Then we went out and came back through the fields completely forgetting that it gets dark early - it was pitch black all of a sudden.

Tomorrow I'll have to come up with a plan B if I see that man again.

I even missed CBB today, forgot all about it.
  • Hi all
Been really busy with various things. STILL not bought any new clothes but this will change soon as I got a new job at my old employer and am required to buy uniform...I have a £10 gift voucher for that retailer on its way to me in the post anyway due to earning it from surveys so STILL won't be spending much if any cash.
Also still eBaying and decluttering. eBay won't let you sell more than a few items of clothing a month before they try and make you register as a business, which is insane. They say designer clothes, but then they refuse to let me sell Primark or New Look or even unbranded concert T shirts so it's just stupid. So the backlog is going to take a million more years to clear. :(
